Hard to feel sorry for someone that brought it all upon themselves, he deserves every day that he gets in prison. 31 years old and still hasn't learned any respect for law Officers or fellow human beings, great officer that spoke 👍🖤💙🖤💙
SMH. It is wow the police officer forgave him. That is a long time 12.5 years. Why would he be given Good Time credit. The people he harmed are stuck for their entire life reliving what this man put them through.
The officer is a wonderful man. He knows a person has to forgive and can’t have hate in their heart because hate is what stems all evil. Jesus says, if a person has hates another, they’ve already committed murder in their heart. Praise God no one was killed here, it really is a miracle. I truly do believe this young man is remorseful. One of the few, for sure.
the suspect is a career criminal and he is so sorry now that he got caught trying to murder a police officer, the look on his face when he finally realized he is staring down 18-20 years in prison is priceless. The lifers and inmates will not put up with his attitude and he will get beat down flat.
No he won't. Mental healthcare is basically non-existant in prison. The only "help" he'll get is a brand new learning from Crime Incorporated in how to be a better criminal when he gets out at 52-55 years old.
Sorry Grandma but police are not mental health counselors. They have more than enough to do trying to keep the peace. Whoever raised this guy, that was their job to guide and nurture him through life. If that falls on you, then he’s your problem to deal with. Personally, I don’t care that he’s schizophrenic and a drug addict. He needs to pay for crimes committed. If he gets rehabilitated, consider it a bonus. Lock him up so he can’t hurt anyone else.
Rare good job for apologizing I hope you will be alright. So how many years will he do? So sad I hope he will be alright for real. You got to do a 180 now man
The words, charm and charisma of this judge make look this sentence a hard one, but think about it, this scumbag has been in jail before and nothing has changed, shooting police officers means he is a cold blood murderer. As soon as he´s out of prison will seek revenge and probably this time some innocent will die. He belongs to a cage.
See you later, Old Man... Do the crime; do a couple dimes. Officer forgiving him is a bigger man than me. I've been robbed at gunpoint at my night shift five times and assaulted 13 times by rowdy customers and stabbed once. This stuff stays with you FOREVER. You don't get over it. You just live with it.
@Lee Darkguardian, Well I'd say you've had a gun in your face 5x, stabbed once & assaulted 13x. Is something only a dipsh!t would live with, IMO. Instead of staying on a job with that stuff FOREVER, get over it & find a new job already, WTF-OVER? Seriously if & I stress "IF" at all possible you could have gone through all of these altercations over & over again? You're a glutton for punishment dealing with all the BS on your own, sil-Lee willy!
Wow that was something else a really good family support I wish I had a grandma like that mines passed away. Hopefully 🤞🏻 he gets it together. You are who you hang with and especially in the penitentiary. 🙋🏻♂️
He wasn’t too smart. He tried to rob the Starbucks in North Olmsted Which is across the street from the police station. That is a heavily traffic area and they are lucky no one was hurt he seems like a person that needs to Kept away from the public a danger to society
I want to share this just to get it off my mind I'm sure no one cares but anyway. I was in rite aid yesterday and I was at the register and a man walked in and dress really nice and wanted to use restroom she said restrooms are closed so he walked out and I watched him and he walked across the street towards taco, my plan was to go to taco Bell to get my taco Bell crispy taco fix. So I checked out across the street went into taco Bell gave my ordersat down and the man that wanted to use the restroom at rite aid came out of the restroom at taco Bell. I mean he looked at me you know when someone looks at you anyway he went stood looked at the menu fidgeted awhile walked up I don't know what he ordered if anything and I believe he was thinking about robbing the place or me I really do he looked back at me a couple times probably because he seen me at rite aid and and I knew a little bit about him like you were just at rite aid asking to use the bathroom , OKAY. I'm suspicious and skeptical by nature but I believe my instincts. God is Good nothin happened
I just bet that when this event took place, all anyone screamed about was "gun control, gun control, gun control". When are the people that are SUPPOSED to be representing us in Washington going to get it through their thick skulls that we have a SERIOUS mental health crisis in this country? NONE of this needed to happen, if this man had been able to get the help he needed. I don't agree with the woman that stood up for this man (grandmother?), though. It's not up to the police to stand back and call in the social workers when someone is SHOOTING AT THEM. This dude is just LUCKY he isn't dead. But I digress... the point here is, this man needed QUALITY mental health care BEFORE it got to this point.
When did mental health issues get so rampant? When I was in high school everyone with a pickup truck had a rifle on the back of their rear window. We had Not One School Shooting. Not one. People are not taking responsibility for themselves or their loved ones with mental health issues. Grandma and family knew he had issues and are now begging the Court to take the responsibility for them.
maybe I am in the minority but 20 years seems like a really long time for a robbery. feel like he should get maybe 5 years max. he needs to be rehabilitated not isolated in a prison for so long.
@@Uhopbands1 robbery is not typically about murdering someone but the threat of possible harm to attain money. could have been in a desperate situation and made a poor decision.
It's a pitty! I think this must have taught people the importance of multiple streams of income . unfortunately having a job doesn't mean security rather having different investments that is lucrative would be best decision one could make .
I agree with you and I believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you earn more money, I don’t know who agrees with me, this the right time to start up an investment, Christmas is on the way🎄
Amazing 👍 investment is bringing a different revolution in the world economy. People who are optimistic investors earn consistently.... Others will just sit and watch!.
@@MsStevo2000 A truly saved person does NOT ever do these things . He could have just given up when he was confronted by the first cop , but he attempted to KILL him and then fled the scene and attempted to KILL those cops that were pursuing him
@@MsStevo2000 You have to repent , be baptized and recieve the Holy Ghost . The Holy Ghost writes the laws of God on your heart and guide you but you do have free will to override the guidance of the Holy Ghost and you are in deep trouble if you do so .
Depends on circumstances. He robber and shot at multiple people. You get a charge for every person. Also state dependent. You don’t know the law. Also just because someone gets less time does that make it right?
that's my worst problem i have he said he sorry he need help for his mental why you don't send him to mental health instead to give him all that sentence when can we help them tenager with mental health even the police officer feel bad about him
"If it was a comedy it would be funny". What a stupid comment by granny. This guy is a lost cause and won't take responsibility, "I didn't mean to hurt anybody", as he fires multiple times at the police. "I really don't remember". He'll never be accountable if he constantly uses the same excuses his granny supplied.
Unreal how these guys just keep going on and on creating crimes. It's very fortunate that he did not kill anyone. Now he will have plenty of time in prison to dwell on his foolishness.
Mental illness is real...remember the grandmother's statements. He has schizophrenia & that mixed with drug addiction is the issue. Thank God, we don't deal with the Deacons that many with mental illness suffer with every day. Being incarcerated doesn't address or treat those deamons most of the time.
Poor baby, shaking his head, gonna do 10 years minimum, yeah welcome to reality, Jerry! Hopefully, you’d get some tough love in the clink, there’s always plenty of that goin’ round.
For years never being able to indulge in life's simple things; pizza, a delicious cheeseburger, warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream... etc ... bummer. Enjoy your stay dude!
He didnt think Anything about trying to KILL the first cop that came to Starbucks , he even took the time to re-aim the gun in order to Kill and he didnt give a rats ass about trying to KILL the other officers that were pursuing him in that neighborhood . And what about the acts he did prior to this where he Shot at some random person in a car . He's a cold blooded attempted murderer with not a care for the life of another human .
Hopefully this Judge gave him the max! If not no votes for her! These every excuse criminals say sorry in court then get up on social media wit all the tuff talk if she let's him loose next time he could kill someone! Enough of the excuses!
You know what's crazy how if we get in trouble we're only a number but we still have to sit there and address the judge right and all the attorneys and everything like that but you know what it's kind of messed up that we only get dressed as a number that's why I don't respect our government
Stop getting on here talking crazy about people all the time y’all don’t know why he was out tryna rob man grandpa could’ve be dieing from needing meds he was already a felon can’t get a decent job it’s hard out here for a black man sometimes that’s all im saying not saying it’s right feel where he coming from and his past tramas to then they trying to send him to prison for all that time he should be getting help for all that time so he can change the system really want this shit
Stop using that felon shit as an excuse. I was a felon and now I make 100k. How? I WORKED HARD and worked my ass off to make up for it. Neither is your family needing meds an excuse to go rob a Starbucks either.
