I'mma tell you something right now. That young man ain't going to want no help from no police officer ever again in the rest of his life. He just going to figure out a way to protect themselves. And I'm sorry that needs to be legislation on a federal level that says that as a law enforcement officer if you lose your job due to any form of police brutality that you can no longer be a law enforcement officer in the United States. If a doctor does something wrong is called malpractice and he loses his license. The same thing needs to happen for police officers.

All Police should be forced to take out insurance against lawsuits and have the premiums deducted from their salaries. The premiums will go up the more cases of misconduct there are. If they cant understand how to conduct themselves like human beings, and respect people they have sworn to serve, they will understand when they have to pay for it themselves.

I think he did well bringing attention to his abuse by hollering. I've seen professional and amateur athletes cry out in pain after being injured. They were manly men who were just being human. Now he knows that, over some weed, he could have almost lost his present life and the life he had planned in the future . In an interview his mother and lawyer stated that he has 2 part-time jobs and attends school full time. I hope this a wake-up call for him and his family. First, don't smoke weed out doors. Second, get out of Brooklyn and move far out east into Suffolk county. They have section 8 housing if they can't immediately afford to move out of the projects. He was not resisting he asked the cop why did he stop him,the cop didn't answer so he asked repeatedly why without a response so he tried to walk away. He was right to walk away. The cop didn't answer, therefore he had the right to walk away. By law the cop must identify himself, tell the person why he is being detained otherwise it is kidnapping, false imprisonment. The other cops should have assessed the situation, WHICH they are trained to do,and acted with appropriate response. They acted like out of control brutes. This is not acceptable behavior of officers trained to serve and protect.

UC didn't I'd himself as a cop which is illegal as same as you not reading a person they rights before arrest, which Both causes the DA case to be dropped. When detained you have the right to ask what your being detained for no reason let go doesn't fit the description let go. The officer in the matter has to prove a crime was committed to arrest.
