Man Captures Clearest Bigfoot Photo In Existence Better Than The Patty Film 

1979, I'm a lieutenant in the army, newly minted. We are on an escape and evasion exercise. We are attempting to avoid capture in the mountains of Washington. I am coming down a steep slope when I suddenly catch a whiff of something vile. I stop, and right in front of me is a ten foot tall dark haired creature. His focus isn't on me, it is on the rest of my unit coming down the hill. He gives a huff and vanishes down the slope. He was huge. As wide across the shoulders as I am tall (just over 6') and heavily muscled. He had no neck. His face was humanish. Broad nose, thin lips, expressive eyes. He was only maybe 10' away. I've been a believer ever since.

I'm surprised the dog didn't see it or hear it.

The reality of these creatures from what I've read is why Teddy Roosevelt committed so much land for national parks. I think there are other cryptids out there and the government knows about it. Look up what happened after MT. ST. HELENS eruption and what the military did.

There are big guys just like the basketball star Shack, and they could put on a bigfoot costume, but highly unlikely. I wonder if someone placed cocain in the forest in a comman bigfoot area, would bigfoot snort it? Imagine that. And would bigfoot get addicted to cocain? In 1977, while in the Army at Ft. Lewis, I was driving the platoon jeep with the Platoon Leader. We were in the woods after dark, taking reports from the squads, when decided it was time to head to the nite camp. When I started driving I could hear noises like branches breaking behind us. It was dark and I was driving without headlights so couldn't go very fast. I kept hearing branches breaking behind or to the side of us as I picked my way through the woods. Once I got to the clearing, I "boogied" on out of there as the moon was bright, and had no problem seeing. The next morning at breakfast, I was talking to one of the squad leaders who was from Oregon. I told him about the noises I heard and the Platoon Leader overheard our conversation. He said, "You heard it too??"

All my family and friends in Punxsutawney and the Village of Covode knew there were Bigfoot in the area. None of us kids were allowed to play or walk in or around the woods. I've seen 4 Bigfoot in my lifetime. The last one stood 3 feet away from me watching me through a window in the evening. That one scared me. The next morning, I found the shape of two feet in smashed grass outside the window. I only learned what these upright animals are called a few years ago. We grew up with my parents and other elders, in Pennsylvania, Alabama and North Carolina, calling them Boogers and Boogerman. As a little child, I envisioned the Boogerman was a scary giant man made of snot.

While I've never had an encounter I'm pretty certain that the majority of these beings wouldn't hurt you unless you tried hurting them. If they were such killer's then why do they always try hiding from us?

They live where they want. Who is going to tell them to leave? Plus they have been here since before the native people. They are coming out of moutans due to global warming and destruction of habitat, fracking, and invasion of territory not to mention the reduced samon runs .
