I know it’s antidotal but two angels appeared as young women while I was traveling alone in Germany. I found myself in a dangerous situation at the Munich train station at night, by myself on a train platform with a man threatening me. They appeared on a bench, gave me correct instructions regarding the corrected train to catch, stayed with me until I boarded and when I turned to thank them, but they were gone! Impossible to get out of my sight on a large empty platform, they were absolutely not human. In this situation, God sent angels in human female form. Whether they were actually female beings 🤷‍♀️

Hi susanholland5633 - I had a very similar experience in Holland many years ago. (I am from Germany) While travelling from England to Germany I lost my way - and could not find the border crossing. It was late at night and I had 2x small children in the car. I was running out of fuel as well. My map was 15 years old and the border crossing had moved. I prayed and without any delay a large 'patrol car with 2x large patrol men' were right in front of me. They stopped and I asked them where the border crossing was and where I could get petrol from with German money. They told me to follow them and they led me to a petrol station which accepted German money - and then they led me to the border crossing some distance away. We left the town and drove through a dark large woodland area and I became a bit nervous - not knowing who they were and I was contemplating to stop and to turn around, but then I saw the lights from the border crossing. I thanked them and they drove off. When I looked back they were gone - but I should have seen the red back lights from the car. I often thought about it afterwards and I am convinced that they were angels. >>> P.S. the word you are looking for is not 'antidotal' (as antidote means = cure for a poison) >>>> but you want the word "anecdotal" which means = 'a story being told' - Hope you don't mind me pointing this out to you xx

Most Christians really don't believe in the supernatural and yet they celebrate Christmas and Easter. Crazy isn't it!. Thanks for your testimony and I also have had a beautiful experience with angels on both sides of the unseen realm. Too long to describe here but absolutely NO doubt it was real. I highly recommend watching the documentary by the late Dr Michael Heiser called The Unseen Realm. It connected many many dots for me!!. ❤❤

The native Americans have legends of giant, red haired, six finger giants, that run the lands in America. They claim they were so big that they could run beside a herd of buffalo and scoop one up in their arms and keep running. That’s a very large person that can grab a buffalo up and its arms and keep running. And they fit the description of Nephilim six finger giants. Oh, and the tribe said that all the tribes in the area had to band together to kill the Giants because they became carnivorous and started to eat all the other tribes. All of this fits very well with the Nephilim of the Jewish faith.

True. There were some in the Great Lakes area too. The original Erie people were tall, redheads, and had some type of magical power to control the weather. The story of Paul Bunion is based on a real individual that was probably a hybrid. He had great strength and 2 rows of teeth. Not sure about 6 fingers.

yes they were apparently living in Arizona/Utah areas. Apparently, according to skywatchtv tv and the late dr tom horn the Smithsonian museum was responsible for covering up giant discoveries in the Grand Canyon etc. Apparently ,this was because the existence of Giants contradicts (ludicrous) evolutionary theory. Clearly the antidiluvian world was far more developed and interesting than we are led to believe. For more see the excellent work of la marzuli - on the trial of the nephelim.

I got saved by two angels,I was getting kicked to death by a large gang of punks,a large crowd of people were spectating then 2 big angels came out of nowhere 1 of them yelled out one in ,one out.everyone was terrified and scuttled off like cockroaches .

@@wbdangelos8393 what message were the angels delivering when they pulled lot out of Sodom? What about the angels that Elisha asked the Lord to reveal? What about the angel of the passover in Egypt? How about the ones who ministered tonthe Lord after he fasted and was tempted? Angels don't always deliver messages. Sometimes they just intervene for the glory of the Lord. If we sometimes "entertain angels unawares" there's no "message" to be had there. They aren't just "messengers" they are beings who are charged to do the will of God, and there is biblical precedent for that meaning that they sometimes supernaturally intervene to save His people.

When my 6.6 pound daughter was born there was a family on the waiting room with us the dad was prolly close to 7 feet tall and about 400 lbs, the son who looked to be about 12 years old was my about my size 6 foot 185, i didn't meet the mom but we heard the dad come out to the rest of his family and say we have a healthy baby boy 14 lbs 4 ounces

Listening to you guys talk about other cultures' legends and myths of giants, its interesting to think how we have thoroughly sanitized and *naturalized* our religion. Where we today tend to reject out of hand anything that smells of supernatural. I think we need to return to a supernatural worldview because thats the mileu in which the scriptures appear to have been written

⁠@@perazdera2827i recommend Heisers work on this. Sons of God are usually angels in the OT. We replace them in Gods divine counsel because they have ruled badly (psalm 82). Jude talks about this genesis 6 incident as well (angels taking women)

Fallen angels breeding with human women bioengineered a new race, tainting the human bloodline. These angels also bred with animals, creating half-human, half-animal creatures (lots of pictographs in archeology) that we used to think were " just mythological", but were real, as God destroyed animals and humans in the flood to purify the bloodlines.

There's a difference between acromegaly ("giantism") and a "legitimate giant" which does not have the joint issues caused by excess growth hormone, the corresponding strain caused by the connective tissue vector changes of those already "overgrown" joints, etc.

People seem to forget these are hybrid creatures of man in a non-fallen (non fragmented) spiritual state. Thats why these angelic men were such an offense to the broken earth. Have you read what even one angel in the Bible is capable of doing? The body doesn’t set the limit of possibility, the spirit did by ruling the flesh that was dedicated as a vessel. The curse prevented man from Spirit-soul-body order of life into soul-body. Being born again is our spirit being restored by Holy Spirit in as much as we are yielded, but the giants abomination was angelic spirit ruling over mans flesh. They broke the rules God set at the disobedience of Adam. God bless

Pastor Joel, when you talked about your tree being 9 feet tall, I measured my walls and my apt ceiling is just shy of 9 feet tall, and youre right, a 9 foot man would be huge! Couldn't imagine someone 50% larger than that!

If the external physiology of a giant is different, height, weight, six toes, etc, why wouldn't the internal physiology be likewise different from a normal human? I think extreme height as described in the Bible is feasible, remember, God compares some of the giants to cedar trees.

Joel: A comment and also a question for Dr. Chaffey. First, I was able to take my family to the Ark at the end of November. What a blessing! Seriously, seeing the size of it as we were on the shuttle was impressive. Also, thinking about how the real one must have looked to the peoples that then lived, it isn't hard to imagine that they would have seen him as a nut. I loved the museum as well. It was such a wonderful opportunity to be able to show my children some of the things - or depictions of some of the things - we've been discussing. The fact that Molech (which was in the Ark) was depicted with a serpentine head was great because I had just been discussing that with my wife. It was wonderful and done, as you said, professionally. Question for Dr. Chaffey. When I was in the book store at the museum, I specifically looked for his book. They didn't have it. I brought it up on my phone and the store manager didn't even know that the book existed. So my question is, why isn't it sold at AIG?

At 35 minutes into the video regarding the special features that a giant would need. Remember the extra fingers the extra toes. And some of the legends that the giants had 2 rows of teeth. Remember they weren't fully human. So the engineering may have been geared towards their bodies being much larger and not just a proportional human size.

At minute 43 ish the discussion is about how human women could have babies that would turn into be a Giants. I think there’s a possibility that the maturation process on a giant child may have been much longer than a human child. For example, what if they grew until they’re 25?

For what I know human gestation was shortened to make the baby pass the birth channel. So human babies are dependent and defenceless compared to other mammals. On the contrary in Berossos they speak of abortion. Berossos thought it was cannibalism. Probably instead it was a premature birth to ensure human women could deliver giants.Big Dinosaurs, creatures in which existence I personally don't believe, are said to have a very quick development after birth.

Interesting conversation just some perspective… my grandmother was only 5’2” and had seven children. Her fifth child was over eleven pounds and he was her easiest birth. (All but the seventh were born at home. Ironically enough, she wanted to have her last at home too but her doctor told her they were both too old. She was 44. )

I was an 11lb 2oz baby myself, my brothers were 11lb 10oz, 10lb 9oz, and 9lb 2oz. We were all big babies. I I’m a pretty big guy, 6’2 and about 260-270lbs and very muscular, not fat. But there’s definately a lot of babies born in that range

If angels ever appear to women to test their kindness, it should hopefully be in female form, as it isn't fair to expect a woman to let a male stranger into, say, her home with her children. I had a man come to my door a few years back here in the country, he was lost and thirsty (but had a vehicle). He was asking for directions to some farm and I gave him water but made him wait on the porch because I was alone with 4 small daughters. I called my neighbor who knows the area well and sent him across the street. Afterwards I wondered what if he had been an angel in disguise, should i have let him in? I don't think so.

In the book of Enoch God says the watchers (angels) can travel by any means they choose and can appear in any form they choose, so why wouldn't they come here and look beautiful to us. Easier to decive someone when you look good as apposed to looking like a monster .

I'd like to bring up the two different sources for the height of Goliath. One states 4 cubits & a span ( 6'9"), the other 6 cubits & a span ( 9'9"). For those that take the view of the smaller Goliath. Which coincidently, is the same as Tim. I propose a set of Goliath's armor & weapons, made to the exact specifications, then have Tim suit up & we'll see how effective he can be as a warrior! Then we'll see which height the equipment was really made for.

This is Tim -- Great point! Page 298 of the book includes a picture of me standing next to a replica of Goliath's spear (based on biblical details). There is simply no way someone my size could wield it -- not even close. That entire chapter (#24) covers Goliath's armaments in detail, demonstrating that they were clearly designed for someone much larger than me.

@@timchaffey5888 Hello Tim! Great to hear from you. I need to find that picture. I searched weaver's beams & they are typically 2.5" to 3" in diameter, too thick for me to wield effectively. I only wear medium gloves. If just the spear is too much for you, I suppose the rest of the equipment wouldn't do either. Just his bronze mail shirt weighed about 125 lbs. That's about half your weight already. OK, you've got the stature, but maybe someone like LeBron James, a body builder or a strong man, might fare better. I would probably throw Shaquille O'Neal in there too, but he's no longer in his prime & he's a tad bit taller. I'm curious to know if anyone of them could pull off the full arsenal.

I saw a humongous angel when I was 5. Definitely beautiful female with vivid features. Her feet were at the tree tops and her head reached the zenith. She had clothing, a beautiful gown, but couldn't make out feet as light obscured them. Could see her hair. I was able to observe her for a long time on that gorgeous summer night. No interactions or messages. I knew I was seeing an Angel. I tried to get my Mother to see running to and fro to the barn. Whew, the angel had not left. I would disagree as Og was the last of the giants. Goliath and his family were descended from the giants that remained in Gath, and presumably mixed in with the Philistines/Canaanites and were still 9ft tall.

28:00 Another way to determine how big Israelites where is too understand that Aaron's rod was put in the Ark of the Covenant. The box size is only so big so you can determine roughly how tall Aaron was by the length of the budded rod put in the ark. This wasn't very long so would mean that he was well under 6 foot. :)

The specs for the size of the ark are in Scripture and are based on the 'cubit' (the distance between a man's elbow and tip of fingers - about 18 to 21 inches). It is just mathematically and yes, speculative but also within parameters of length, so Aaron's height range would be within the determined range. (based on the length of the almond rod Aaron used and was put in the Ark of the Covenant. @@mattk6719

I think the big glaring issue with the fallen Angel corruption theory is that it gives fallen angels powers that not only good angels don't have but which are identified as exclusive powers or miracles of God: incarnation and the creation of life. On what basis would God reward rebellious angels with divine prerogatives??? That's akin to the anti theonomist idea that rebellious women get to vote and be pastors but obedient women don't. Hardly. The consistent Biblical position is that the rebellious have LESS privilege than the righteous, or at least no more privileges.

Finally, someone who is making sense! Angels who took on human form in the Bible were always on mission for God. Clearly, God gave them the ability to assume human form. Nowhere in scripture does it reference fallen angels taking on human form. It's quite a leap to make that assumption just because they rebelled and left heaven, their proper abode. Also, if demons are the souls of the dead progeny of fallen angels and human women, where did the human half of the soul go? Wasn't that half created in the image of God? And why would God send a flood to get rid of this progeny if he knew that when they died they would create even more havoc as demons? Isn't that an attack on God's sovereignty? Anyone else wonder about these things?

Well, dinosaurs and humans have very different body structures for one thing. God made Dinos to get as large as they did. I don't think the size of nephilim had anything to do with the atmosphere before or after the flood Dinos came off the ark and probably didn't survive very long.

He certainly didn't explain it very well, but it's quite simple if you have a moderately scientific or mathematical mind. The limiting factor is the size of the atoms and molecules that made up the Giants. And atoms of a different size cannot exist inside this universe. Therefore cells are limited in their size because of the ratio between the external surface and the internal contents of a cell. You cannot have a cell that is one inch in diameter for example. Therefore all the bones and organs of the Giant would need to be constructed out of an immense number of cells which are the same as ours. In that case the structure breaks down. The morphology of the human frame would need to be greatly modified to accommodate that kind of size. Dinosaurs, on the other hand are constructed completely different from us and have the bone structure and the position of organs which allowed them to grow to immense size

One theory is that the author(s) in Genesis are saying that the nephilim were all those gods/legends people heard about in the past. That was when and who they were and why they were. Later, after the Flood, there were more legendary people as well (including giants). One theory is like reptiles, the early men had way more robust immune systems and bodies that could regrow (teeth, etc) and continued to grow their whole life. Noah -> grandsons all lived to be 400, 500 or more years old. When the spies saw the sons of Anak in Canaan, they might have literally been Anak's sons which would be hundreds of years old and were as big as cedar trees.

If i had to GUESS, I'd say God's commandments concerning mixing of things in the Old Testament, give clues to this answer. Also, in Revalation being "Lukewarm". You are either human or not, being a hybrid is in the same field as "Not", but that is just a guess based on comparable situations. Furthermore, if you take the account of giants in Enoch, the destruction of the giants foretold to the watchers was a punishment of the watchers' sin. As with Adam; human sin, human fall, human redemption. There was no redemption for the Fallen. According to Enoch, they were certain that what they did was a sin BEFORE they committed it and made a pact to keep regardless of their fear of punishment. Whereas with the fall of man, there was a deception. Once again, this is my speculation, I cannot speak in absolutes here.
