After deliberating for nearly eight hours, a Fairfax County jury returned a guilty verdict in the case of a man charged with manslaughter for hitting two teenagers.
guilty, now for the sentence, he needs 20 years, the max, he was doing 60 mph in a 35, the light turned yellow he floored it to 81, then hit a vehicle making a left turn and bounced into the girls, at the scene he was "concerned his dad would scold him" in the car he said "i think i just killed 3 girls", he graduated a week before and was driving on a learners permit. a BMW he shouldnt have had but hey, northern va coddling parents, 20 years i say. attorneys try to blame the suv, ok, if the bmw was going 35 and not 81 the suv making the left would have seen him, further, if the bmw was going 35 not 81, it would not have bounced off the suv into the girls. SPEED, YOU LOSE ALL RIGHTS OF WAY IN VIRGINIA WHEN YOU SPEED, THAT IS THE LAW.
