First bus life video that moved me to tears. Everything in this bus has so much meaning and the way this guy lives is the way we should all strive towards.
With Ryan's ru-vid.comUgkxy_pn55PK60wAV3X_C_RoLS_67mNonoCE plan I was like one taken by the hand and led step by step from start to finish. Thank you very much Ryan!
We got to spend 4 days with this guy in Crested Butte earlier this year, and he is the kindest, most authentic, talented human I have ever met. If everyone could spend a little time with Guisepi, the world would be a much better place.
Joe Neiheisel I completely see that. What an accomplished human being. Love his bus too. Finally one that is completely outfitted for daily life making use of every inch.
Joe Neiheisel i just finished this video 🤔 thinking” I GOTTA HANGOUT WITH GUISEPI!”he seems wise well beyond his years.and just from a quick RU-vid video I could see and sense the sincerity and everything you said that describes your experience with him.Im glad you had a good one and I look forward to mine
I met Guisepi many moons ago and I gotta say...this guy is ok. He's a very warm down to earth fellow. If any of you hear about him coming to your town and need a non judgemental ear, definitely go see him. Iv met many people on the road along my journey over the last 4yrs and Guisepi is one who crosses my mind often. Now whenever I have tea, its hard not to think about him and Edna.
You can tell by how fluidly he does everything that he has been living in it for a long time! He has a great outlook on life and does an amazing thing. Keep on rockin tea man!
This is probably the most unique and well thought out design of a tiny bus I have ever seen. The fact that it comes with such an amazing ethic is also incredible, it makes me so happy to see people and designs such as this making the world a better place
You haven't met him in person with no cameras around...I have. He's a level 10, know it all douche. I was eager to talk to him, excited about what he seemed to be doing. He just sat with his legs crossed and began to spew how great he and all his ideologies are, for about 30 minutes straight. You can't even get a word or opinion in edgewise. I would consider him a psyhco-grade progressive. I was worn out and just said the hell with it.
This is one of your best stories to date and this man and his invention and bus is unique. Thankyou for interviewing him. The whole video was like a where's the next secret. The whole van is like a great tool box. Wow.
Damn his setup is on point! You can tell he has been living in his bus for a long time because of all the quirky (but brilliant) adjustments he made. Inspired~~
A couple of things. 1) you're freaking out ceo's everywhere with your bond talk with interacting with new people. You could have a business and be very successful. 2) the money draw situation is genius. Such a perfect experiment on human interaction and response. It shows that you draw the greatest kind of people to your free tea bus. 3) talking about how your bed can have more than 1 person on it, ::look at the camera and say uh yeah:::: hilarious.
My heart gets a warm feeling when I see a young man doing something like this amazing individual is doing with this bus...what a way to meet people and spread what we all should be doing... getting to know each other. Thank you so much for sharing.
I feel somehow a little healed knowing Guisepi is out there somewhere. His story about people giving and taking as they are moved to really touched my heart. Thanks for this :-)
THIS IS WHY I STILL WATCH VAN TOURS. There are so many brilliant ideas crammed into this space, your use of storage and multipurpose design is simply beautiful. Thank you for sharing so many awesome design decisions.
I watch bus conversion videos everyday as converting something into a tiny home of my own is my biggest dream. This is by far the coolest, most cozy bus I have seen and seems like it can make anyone who comes for free tea feel like they are home. This is inspiring me and now I am going to think of ways I can give back in my tiny home as you do. Thank you.
This is the most amazing bus conversion I've seen so far. All of the little nooks and storage ideas all from reclaimed items is so we thought out. This is such a neat way of life.
It's great to see people fully committing to a lifestyle like this. It's not something many people could do but he sets an inspiring example. Thanks for sharing Dylan!
Many could, but many would not. With the exception of people with growing children, more of us should get on board. Save money, save natural resources, thus reducing the triggers for war. I would try it, but not as a single woman.
I'm so so so thrilled to see someone FINALLY put the environment before all else with their bus build. This man didn't have to sacrifice for it, either. His bus is a feat of ingenuity as well as creature comforts. A little planning and hard work goes a long way!
I love this guy.❤️ His name alone makes him a superstar. He’s a genius and I love his spirit. Wish there were more people like him here in New York City. You’re beautiful Mr. Guisepi Spadafora 😃
DM by far you have introduced the most beautiful human being ever....loved his whole set-up, his thoughtful and kind words his spirit.....thank you....from Houston Texas
Guisepi is amazing. Met him in February and learned a lot about gifting economies. Thanks for taking the time to create this video of his bus and explain his views on community
Hey Dylan I just wanted to let you know that your videos helped me pursue my dreams of traveling and living in a van. I officially moved out of my parents in kentucky and into my van and now traveling around the country. I even started a RU-vid channel in hopes of being as awesome as you one day. I would really love to see you make some adventure videos! I know you are capable!! Peace out from Big Bear Lake Ca
Another fantastic video Dylan. I don’t know how you manage to be so prolific AND produce such consistently high quality work. This young man is truly inspiring. I have met many “alterna-types” over the years that frankly have an eye-rolling naïveté that doesn’t translate in the “real world”. I find his application of his personal life philosophy to be genuine and emulatable (is that a word?). I hope to share a cup of tea with Giuseppe some time. Well done Gents.
You are such a good human being. I feel inspired having watch this video. I just moved into an RV full time as a result of losing my home to the Northern California fires. This is something I've always wanted to do, so here I go, and maybe I'll meet you on the road somewhere. Happy travels ♡
I am glad you are creating something special out of your loss. I lost my city home in 2008. I bought 5 acres in the mountains for a pittance and downscaled living space and am creating the food forest I always wanted. Much poorer, much happier.
I love his bus and his free tea idea so much, I am so hype right now, I look forward to meeting this guy one day and learning all I can about how he lives, such an awesome guy!!
I’m so glad that you mentioned that this was all a learning experience! I’m about to buy my first bus at 26 and as a lady.. I haven’t really been exposed to wood working/ welding/ wiring.. I was feeling overwhelmed. But I will reach out to the people in my community and see what I can pull together! Also love that it is the same style bus so you’ve given me tons of great ideas! I think you’re a genuinely sweet and incredible guy! So thank you!
Yes! No one person can create such a thing on their own. It is part of what it means to be human to learn, but just as important is for us to teach. Thanks for sharing your word. I wish you the best of luck on your bus build. - Guisepi
My favorite of all buses, tiny homes all of it! Genius and simplicity... I am in love with his bus. I love it runs on recycled Oil, design genius and his philosophy - BEAUTIFUL.
Definitely one of the world's very coolest people. Congrats to his parents for giving him such an adventurous spirit and love of the world through lots of global travel. - AB in Santa Barbara, California and Sabah, Borneo
The setup has a very comfortable lived in feel. Love it. When you break everything down to the absolute minimum like this you find what really makes you happy in life. Where as people who have everything materialistically can sometimes feel so empty and unhappy.
Dylan, dude, you are spreading the magic for real. The extraordinary bus, the magnificent Giusepi, the fact that every video you make is fucking beautiful and charged and truly awesome... wow. Thank you.
I'm amazed and fascinated by all the little tweaks and fits he's worked into this bus - all the pieces that slide out, interlock, can be changed and tilted and whatnot. It's so perfectly minute and fitted to his own needs and experiences.
I've watched hundreds of tiny house videos, but this is easily one of the best, most inspiring, jaw dropping, (eyebrow raising) builds. That pully-leveling bed is brilliant. Anyone whose ever slept in a tent or in a car knows the annoyance of trying to sleep on a slanted surface! And my god, all the nooks and crannies; list of custom features seems endless. Makes my head spin! What an awesome dude. And I had a feeling he might be a permaculture guy! Thanks for finding this unique build (and man).... How did you find out about him?
Absolutely awesome! You talk so casually about your veggie tank. I'd love to see how it works and put one in my school bus. I intend to drive from California to Brazil and having a veggie oil tank would be so much better. Not only to save money and recycle but also it is so much better for the environment! Thanks for sharing! I love your channel Dylan.
Absolutely brilliant sir! Excellent and well conceived engineering on your skoolie home! More importantly your compassion and giving heart is what the world needs more of. Bravo!
So many amazing ideas for my skoolie build. Loved this video and took a LOT of notes. Great job to Guisepi - and wonderful work he's doing. And thanks Dylan for featuring this build.
What an amazing story. Stories like these give me faith in humanity (which I often lose). Growing up on a commune in the 60’s, I was given the ideal of community as a “core” belief (I lived on the commune from age 5 to 8, ages when your beliefs about your impact on your environment are most developed, I believe anyway). Slowly things changed around me. A lot of the adults abandoned that lifestyle for one that revolved more around monetary gain and the accumulation of “valuables”. I became very disillusioned and rather cynical as a young adult. However, those beliefs of community were always still there. Now, as I have more days behind me than ahead, I feel myself being drawn more and more to seek out like minded ppl. Thank you for reminding me of what is truly important 💜
He is the most authentic beautiful soul I’ve ever seen...listening to him brought tears of Joy ... I was totally reminded of Stranger in a Strange Land! ... The most genuinely lived life I’ve ever come across! ... Thank You for sharing You Story! 😃💕🙏☕️🙏
Dylan this is the best episode ever. I really feel this guy is living his life by teaching and sharing, just like you Dylan. Big Loves! You are awesome, and I love your channel! Thank you for finding this guy. I feel like he might be from Fort Mac, Alberta, Canada? If not there is another guy just like him, living a very similar life, doing the exact same thing? How crazy!?!?
Wonderful video! This tea bus guy is just amazing! He does contribute to making the world a better place. Thank you for sharing his story with us. Keep up the good work.
I’ve seen a lot of vehicle conversions and tiny homes alike. This one is likely the best I’ve seen due to the sincere intent put into building a wonderful living/community space.
