THIS CHANNEL:
_________________________________________________________
The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
Some are famous.
And some infamous....
....and some with tragic endings.

Wow! Now I know about Cullen Baker, a horrible weasel of a man. The pacing of your narratives along with the superb camerawork are incomparable. And I hung on every word. An amazing presentation and a story I didn’t know! Thank you once again!

😂Weasel or Wolverine? Weasels or Wolverines often out just for a short walk with their conceal and carry permits around store fronts like Wells and Fargo business store fronts and like the Duruthers Breweries business store fronts and Seagrams whiskey brewery store fronts too. When you see one man carrying a weapon brought out into the open when they are not conscripts doing so it is as if you have seen them all. Unless of course their top boss is wicked who knows how to pick the 'best'. Not to mention after a not to shabby trip across the Berring Staight to maybe talk a stroll past the Smirnoff Voldka store fronts every now and then too before the U.S. government finally finished paying off a debt to fully acquire the state of Alaska. Now the records stating when banks were no longer taking payments from the U.S. government to pay off the debt owed to Russia for lands sitting on Alaska now are hard to find. So hard to find while someone out there who is still alive today claims that the purchase of those lands were illegal in the first place. Same as the land called Ukraine according to him too.

Thanks Ron for another interesting (albeit gruesome) story and video. You are the best story teller! I really enjoy listening to you. And yes, that guy was certainly one of the worst of his time based on all the details of his life which you shared with us. I'm thrilled that you're back making videos for the channel again as I really love your content and theme. Special thanks for the bonus footing of the train going by at the end of the video! I love watching and hearing trains, so I'm glad you stuck around to show us the approaching train you mentioned hearing earlier in the video. Cool way to bring the video to an end. Stay safe as you are traveling around and thanks again for sharing these stories with us!

Thanks for the history. My father used to tell us stories of his young days growing up in the Dakota's. He had quite a life and was very entertaining. Back then we had no radio or TV for entertainment. The folks did have a big battery pack radio but it was for the news and for mom's soap operas when she was cleaning the house and cooking for the family. You remind me of dad, he passed away in 1972.

Clava Cairns or the Prehistoric Burial Cairns of Bulnuaran of Clava are a group of three Bronze Age cairns located near Inverness. Another great video, Ron! You really are quite the storyteller, and I always learn new and interesting things when I watch your videos... and I've watched a few episodes! One thing bugs me, the only thing that also bothered me when I was "shooting" and recording LIVE audio for weddings and other outdoor events... was wind noise. I think whatever you can do to minimize, and perhaps nearly eliminate a good deal of that noise. I believe that doing this could be a real game changer?!? Anyway, not too difficult, and might take a little bit of work to get it just right, but it can be done fairly easily. ( 1 ) Take your fuzzy lav mic and get it away from the abrasive wind. Using gaffers tape if you have it, or painters' tape (that you color with black magic marker... helping to conceal the mic from view... but more importantly from the wind noise working against your audio track, unfortunately. ( 2 ) Take a small slice (may 1/2 inch deep, but enough so that if you place the slice so that can flatly lie against your chest, thus providing something that can shield your mic, IN COMBINATION WITH your shirt, jacket tie, etc.). Loosely tape the mic into place facing away from you in a forward direction, but inside the horizontally facing ring... and allowing (at first) any wires, cables, etc., to "flex" easily at the joints. ( 3 ) TIME TO TEST your rig! Place and tape your bug mic into the cardboard cutout, then tape if under your garment, again, making sure you can move easily. THEN, tape ALL moving parts so they will no longer move. Gaffers tape really does work best... it works easily without tearing any hair out! ( 4 ) Reset for the real shoot. See if that might help some. Someone might even make some wind reduction screens available. Take care, and All The Best!

Another great episode! You are truly a fascinating storyteller. Some exquisite iron work & wonderful statuary in this cemetery. Although the cemetery is respectably kept I am shocked at the filthy state of so many of the headstones, vaults, and monuments. That grime is so destructive to the stone itself. Usually the proper cleaning of stones is undertaken by historical societies or cemetery enthusiasts. It's a pity Cullen has such a decent gravesite, he was such a monster.

He looks pretty harmless in his photograph. Since people said he was from a good home back then the methods to discipline children was through the same means no matter what their size was at the time. Thanks for excellent narration while publishing your videos. Your videos that are not peppered with a lot of usless advertising like some RU-vid channels are these days. Nor is the tone of your narration sounding self-righteous and preseumptiuos too both at the same time like some of those British or some of those other kind of American history channels are being narrated. Good thing my paternal grandfather at average height 5 foot 8 for a man wasn't a mean old hombre like that guy was. One reason why I love telling the following Vince Sign guy joke: "The man who fell of the roof wasn't the bouncer." Given how hard it is to tell who is black and white in mixed race families back then too knowing who was black and white among all of the civil war people back then wasn't easy as only just one two three given what all A.b.c.s were being written down during conscription season back then concerning all new recruits.
