My mom is always close to my maternal family...even my dad stays there for 20 or 1 months...dad always helps my maternal family monetarily and financially...even he makes tea and coffee for them...my dad is the most wonderful son in law for them..he is a modern man ever...
I will wait for my son to grow up and teach my husband this.. as he cannot forget what my parents or siblings did.. so small issues which is carrying on his shoulders and has to fight always

The stories shown here is nice and realistic. But somewhere i hv a feeling that by showing these stories if people would change nothing better than it.
This man is not wrong completely it seems like the relatives never respected him but the wife is kind of forcing to keep relations with them. I have been in such situations and I know it's very hard to forgive. Show other side of story as well.
I agree. When your wife’s side of the family makes you feel guilty for your life choices and leaves no stone unturned (nor any effort unspent) in making you feel « less than », for your wealth. It is not as easy to forget as shown here. I am not even married yet and can still relate to this feeling. So, I can easily imagine how this husband must feel.
@@akshaymundkur I have dealt with such toxic relatives mostly they are from mom side, not exactly blaming her but bcs they are her relatives she never said them anything like shown in this video
I know it will be hard to put the past behind you ,but in order to move forward you just need to let bygones be bygones, and try to enjoy time with family ..
People can pretend to move forward but unless there's real forgiveness and reconciliation is it real moving forward or has it just been put on the back burner and not really resolved?

Why can't the mother and daughter just leave the old man and walk away and live with the mother's family, and the old man suffer alone in that being house. Let him suffer loneliness. Thats what such narcissistic men deserve
The daughters idea is very good and interesting. There is no point in talking what has 20 years ago. This is shear waste of time and it unnecessary bring about family problems Hence forth not talk about things that happened 20 years ago and discuss what is required for future.
If I was her husband I'd have probably made that women choose between me and that stupid family of her's right on the day this whole facade began. If she chose me she'd never speak or see any of her family members ever again.
