Ive walked off the deck to speak with the site manager and tge foreman was demanding i get back ion the deck. I didn because i needed to urgently speak with the s.m. while he was there and i didn get a start on the next build. Productionline work is so different. Each employee is a cog and if one cog goes missing.... production stops.....

I’m wondering what you would do about a neighbor playing extremely loud music on a Wednesday night when you have to go to work the next morning? What if you confront the dude and he still doesn’t stop..what’s the best recourse? I feel like cops are sometimes semi-decent mediators between myself and the public. Egos get in the way when you’re talking to another man, but when cops arrive, most people shut the fuck up. I try to avoid the cops at all cost, but what’s your take on this?

@@jackalsdole Well, I've been in that situation a few times. I wouldn't call the police because I'd rather be annoyed than risk my neighbor being killed or seriously injured over loud music. Knowing the police these days that's highly probable and likely. I don't let anyone walk all over me but I will simply deal with it for night and then confront that neighbor maybe the next day when he's not playing loud music and be polite about it... Sometimes in the situation like that it's much an easier compromise after the fact while not during.. You know what I mean?

Security guards do not have any additional power than an average citizen . And that includes on private property. Even on private property they cannot detain you in any manner or use force of any kind. They can "ask" you to leave and if you don't, can call police and the police can trespass you. Their only responsibility is to observe and report. Period.
