Kittens at the start 1:05 are much bigger and have open eyes but kittens at the end are small and have closed eye. Video is reversed, he actually tortures the cats for views. So sad

Yeah. Probably wasn't a very intelligent move to put her and her babies along with an unknown cat - they should have been in their own space. The last thing that mother needs is further stress.

I'm so glad you were able to help this cat and her kittens. I've heard of adult street cats, even males, taking older kittens under their wing, loving, protecting, finding food for, and being a parent figure to them. So, it didn't surprised me that much to see how this cat wanted to help the big kittens who were on their own without their mother cat. Also, it certainly seems to me that the Jasmine cat is a loner and would have a happier and stress free life if adopted into a household without other cats, perhaps without other pets like dogs too. Perhaps you can make your sister understand that it would be best for the cat, that it's not good in the long run for a cat with a personality that prefers to not have fellow cat company to get stressed all the time by other, and new cats and kittens. I'm sure her love for Jasmine would help her to want what's best for this cat, to give her a lot more contented life.

I agree, but if every cat is 'fixed' it could get to where there are no cats (or dogs) left. They didn't ask to be thrown away. IF people were good to these animals, it wouldn't be such a bad problem!

@@K.Spade7902 I loathe using "never" and "always" in the same sentence, BUT... There will never come a time when every cat and dog has been spayed or neutered because irresponsible humans always find a way to avoid spending $ on what they consider an easily replaceable animal. I've heard people insist their dog or cat "needs" to experience the "miracle of birth", as if the animal desperately wants to gestate a litter and has picked out names for each kitten or puppy. Or they claim sterilization is "unnatural" and violates "God's plan". Some men refuse to neuter their dogs because the animal will "resent being deprived of that *special* mating experience." Seriously. And if they DO have "Buddy" neutered they can have the vet insert artificial testicles so the animal doesn't realize he's missing his boy-bits. I am not making that up. SMDH.

Depending on where in the world we're talking about, there are sometimes very good reasons for not spaying and neutering. In Rome, some nice misguided Americans encouraged the idea of spaying and neutering the street cats, locals were enthusiastic about the idea, the street cat population has sunk drastically as a consequence... and the city is being overrun by vermin. Cats have a natural place in the ecosystem in the parts of the world where they've been for a long time!

@@nordiskkatt Nature is cruel to living creatures that overpopulate their areas, and that includes humans as well as cats. Spayed, neutered and vaccinated animals live longer, healthier lives. No ecosystem can tolerate over-population for long, and no domestic animal should have to suffer because humans can't (or won't) clean up the garbage that attracts disease-carrying rodents.

@@krisaaron5771 There was no overpopulation in Rome, though. That's my point. It was a balanced ecosystem, that then got disrupted because humans were stupid enough to do actions that led the number of cats to decline. Cats have been a part of the ecosystem in Rome since at least Republican Rome. Very bad things happen when you take the predators out of an ecosystem. And given that the current problem with vermin include starlings and seagulls as well as rats - all of which know how to access garbage cans - more cats are the obvious solution.
