I stole an offensive joke from someone that fits quite well here. Why transgenders only eat salat? because he was a her before. I dont know if you get if when its written down, but its a pretty good one to tell people.
Amazing, I would love to see this format once a month! 😃👍 The dino guy was hilarious, like from a slapstick movie where the only sane protagonist is the shark 😂. Thank you for sharing! ❤❤❤
Yes, I live on the Oregon coast and we had millions of Velellas wash up on all of the beaches around here. It’s been really windy here too, more than the norm. That Dino is hilarious.
Well that scene is pretty ridiculous because the Rex was already long extinct by the time the Meg appeared. Sure there was large Lamnids (Like Cretoxyrhina, "the Ginsu Shark") that were around but nowhere near the size of Meg==and sharks were definitely lower on the to predator hierarchy, due to the presence of marine reptiles like the mosasaurs and the like.
This is hysterical. I have one of those dinosaur costumes. It has a little fan (at least mine did) to keep it inflated. I can’t imagine paddle boarding in it. 😂 Shark was like wtf?
There were hundreds of common dolphins feeding/crashing the surface off Solana Beach and Del Mar last Thursday evening. It was also reported that Bluefin tuna were spotted right off Encinitas and it makes sense they were mixed in with the dolphins. It was within drone range of shore. Hopefully you’ll get to see and film them if they stick around.
As somebody sat in cold, London watching this video and a long-time watcher of your videos it’s great to see what’s going on on the other side of the World. The tone of your narration is really soothing. Keep doing your great work!
I am so glad that you decided to make a video from this edited out content. Loved it! Especially the blue jellyfish and dolphins. So beautiful. I look forward to more of these. Thank you Carlos 🙏
Carlos, I have been watching you as long as I can remember. Your research, POV, and passion is driving not only an entire community, but all those who follow us. Eternally grateful for the beauty and insights you provide every video. Thank you!!
This was a great video, Carlos. I will look forward to these monthlies. Eager to see what you've filmed with the potentially pregnant female too. Here's to more discoveries!
Great video as usual. Like the bonus content. If you haven't been to Catalina lately, there's some nice activity going on right now. Saw a bunch of sunfish, Risso's dolphins, leopard sharks, etc. Water's good and there's been predation events around the sea lion colony south-ish of Avalon. Had a blast and highly recommend.
Catalina is awesome! I love it there. That's definitely getting into very large shark territory for sure! The risso's dolphins are absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to go back.
The “Blue blobs” look like Portuguese man o war. We call them “Blue Bottles” here in Australia and they will give you quite the nasty sting if you get caught up or touch their tentacles which are unbelievably long (30-100ft). They litter the coastline after high winds or storms.
More beautiful shark footage Carlos. 🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈 I thought that was a piece of a boat. You could see leopard sharks swimming around by it. That was a big leopard shark in the surf. I'm all for sharks.
Thank you so much for this excellent video!! T-Rex on a paddle board seems to be a nationwide phenomenon. LOL. They have been really popular in river parades for years. I hope you are enjoying your "amazing" weather as much as we are here in Delaware. 🦖🐬❤
Would love to see more than just sharks. Enjoyed the dolphins. Good eye seeing another drone. Try as I might, I couldn't see it. Would love to know the story of the Dinosaur on the board. Wonder if he was aware of the large shark just feet away from him? That white thing you showed almost looked like a dead Sunfish. It didn't resemble the piece of boat you found later. Those Valellas occasionally get washed up on our beaches by the thousands here in Washington State. I thought they were called Portuguese Man O' War. Heard they have a nasty sting. Love your drone footage. Look forward to seeing more of what the California Coast has to offer.
You can't know how much much mad respect I have for you and this channel. You actually take the time and effort to MAKE, EDIT and POST YOUR OWN VIDS! Not sitting in front of tik toks and hijack them for your own but ACTUALLY MAKE YOUR OWN! Keep up the awesome beautiful work!
Velvella a cnidarian (related to jellyfish, coral). I never heard of them before but so interesting. I would've thought micro-plastics and get angry Greta on the phone to protest but instead actual life in the ocean. Wouldn't have noticed if wasn't for the OG shark looking to star in more drone footage. Hey, scar tissue gets more hits! Not sure if the "vellas" swim, paddle, materialize here in Gulf of Mexico near Florida. We do have sharks, though!
@@HeartTurnedToStone Never knew why.. It came from behind at a decomp station h\it my head and snorkel and almost ripped snorkel off my head along with mask 2 holes in snorkel ever since! and no it only got snorkel not me
Always enjoy the videos. Nicely done. The interaction between people and these sharks is amazing at times and hope no one gets bitten but it does happen on occasion.
We have found those hellos on the beach many times over years. One time it was alot. It's fun trying to walk barefoot and try to miss them. It feels ucky!😂😂😂😂😂
Carlos, what a great idea! Your cutting room floor is still full of fascination for all of us! The T Rex dude was funny but I kept thinking it would be so easy to drown in that suit. I wasn’t thinking about a shark latching on to him. Could you imagine the headlines the next day 😂😂 The Velella Velella had me intrigued. They’re beautiful little creatures and they must be good because whoever named them, named them twice. 😂. Of course you once again inspired me to find out more about them. I wanted to know if they were like the blue bottles (Portuguese Man O’ War) like we have here in Australia and many other countries and they’re very different. It’s nice to know they’re pretty and don’t sting you. 😂 Who doesn’t love watching Dolphins 🐬 play? There’s something wrong with a person’s personality if dolphins playing doesn’t give them the biggest smile.😃 They are just so loveable. ❤ I can’t not wait until your next video. I look forward to each and every one of them. 🦈🐬❤️❤️
If you were to attach three small lasers to your drone so that you can switch them on on command and see the spots in frame you could deduce range and object sizes by making two lasers parallel to each other with the third at a known angle :)
I love your channel! You capture some incredible footage of these beautiful creatures. Every time i watch a video of yours i learn something new, which feels great. The hard work you put in surely doesn't go unnoticed, so thankyou, from me, and many others 🦈 ❤
Vela means sail in Spanish. The Portuguese man-of-war is a jellyfish like cluster of stinging marine animals that exist in the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. They're very similar to the ones you showed but more purple.
I still have high hopes you’ll be the first and only to film a great white giving birth. It’s one thing I want to see before I’m gone from this earth. 🌎
We’ll be back in San Diego for Christmas. I told my wife that it’s a good thing it’s going to be after Thanksgiving because I’m 315 pounds and hopefully anything that could eat me will still be in a food coma. Lol
Lolol...when the heck does the Pacific WARM UP??? Ive lived in California my whole life, and that is an adjective i h a ve never used in re tbe ocean! 😅
B y the way, I would much rather watch your channel any day than Natl Geo or any of the other shark specials out there! I wish the videos lasted longer, BUT You are much better in your great content, narration and overall quality! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
For more views, this should be the title "SHOCKING: T-rex seen predating on a shark off the coast of California, Megalodon tooth seen in shallow waters".
I hope you could come to Hawaii someday; (especially to the Island of Kauai). Here on our South Shore we have the rare & endangered Monk Seals. I saw two yesterday at a more secluded part of Poipu beach. Then theres our beautiful & multiple green Sea Turtles. They come up out of the Ocean every night to sleep on the Beach at Poipu. 😊
