I was really evil one time. Hubby and I dressing up for a charity event- I came outta the bedroom in Dress #1, asked his opinion, then same w/ Dress #2, then Dress #3... then went back to Dress #1 & said "which one of the 4?" Without telling him Dress 1 & 4 were the same. Poor man's brain nearly exploded.

I am a woman. I don’t understand the changing into a million things for a night when one is already late. We asked the “does this make me look fat” etc. Question in the store. We bought it and took it home because the answer was “no”.

I didn't either until after having kids now 90% of my wardrobe makes me look fat so I go through 3 outfits before leaving the house or go to my same trusted shirt & legging combos until I buy more. Which no need yet cause pandemic.

I've been asking the same man how I look since 1988. You'd think he'd have a better reply by now. Bless his heart, he says it without even looking at me "You look great. Let's go..." (In his defense, he is good about handing out compliments at other times--without prompting. He just doesn't seem to understand the importance of the "How do I look?" question). I coached my 26 year old who is about to propose to his girlfriend on this matter. "Look at her. Really look at her! Then tell her she looks beautiful in (whatever it is). You'll be even better off if you tell her this before she asks." He laughed at me. "Don't worry Mom. I've got this covered." I'm pretty sure he doesn't.

I tell my male friends that the answer to this is to say "you look (gorgeous, stunning, beautiful... pick one), I love the (specific defining feature: ruffles, necklace, cut of the dress)." This makes the woman feel good about whatever item you complemented rather than insecure about the whole outfit. She will also wear that specific piece more often because she thinks you particularly like it.

Saying that you love it because the colour brings out her gorgeous eyes compliments her taste and a part of the body women don’t usually feel insecure about. Funny video. Nice moves bro. I never answer the "loaded" questions my wife asks in these scenarios.... it never yields a good outcome lol. They can "feel" the fact that you're like... "I don't care... let's go". Every woman wants to look "unique", so I typically will say something about the uniqueness of what she's wearing... and we're out the door! :D You're a lucky guy for sure, I'm certain your wife looks great in nearly anything she wears... why does she even ask? Aside from their ADHD song, I think this is their best one! Penn's vocal range is especially amazing. And that dancing?! Whoa. I felt like I was a kid again in 1970 watching the Jackson Five perform on Soul Train. Kim would look fabulous in anything. It's as simple as that.

This is so funny! Love it! After seeing myself in a home video a few years ago, I learned the hard way to quit asking my husband if something "makes my butt look big" because it was obvious that he didn't know what that means in wife-speak. Now I ask if it makes my butt look "bigger than it really is." And no, I still don't trust his answer...so I make him take a picture...and then I go change. 😂

I just spent 4 hours at an airport trying to get to my fiance in Dublin... could you guys do a parody on I'm in a Hurry by Alabama, but about how insufferable the waiting around at the airport is? She looks great, because..., she DOES ! That's the irony of this video. I guess some women NEED that "special," Yeah, THAT looks GREAT on YOU !!!" If a man doesn't say such, she'll try on something else! So a man tells her she looks GREAT, which she DOES, yet NOW to her, it's a lie !!! Also, when vanity becomes more important than honesty, then there's ANOTHER problem, right! So great. Reminds me of my parents bickering whenever they had to go somewhere...especially church. My dad was in the Navy, and he is very rigid about time. If he's not early, he's late. My mom thinks time is a vague suggestion. My solution, for many reasons, is to never set foot in a church again.

My wonderful husband attempts to get around this by answering every question he doesn't know how to answer with, "I love you." Which was super sweet in the beginning of the relationship, however, now I know it basically means, "I love you and I either have no opinion on this or can't think of an answer that won't possibly get me in trouble by being misconstrued."
