Kris: “If someone asked me to draw anxiety in a room, I would draw balloons.” Me: “I would just draw *eyes* . Just casually watching. Judging. Laughing. I may be crazy. 👁 👄 👁”
@@I_like_waffles aww love your profile picture gonna sub just for that 😊 also sprinkleBun please talk to someone even talking to a animal can help to get it off your chest
The most shocking part of the episode was the revelation that he is married. I think that if he has a partner that accepts his balloon thing, he's able to hold a job, build relationships, and participate in society in every way that a person who doesn't have a balloon fetish is able to, and it's not disrupting his ability to function, then I honestly don't see a problem. He really isn't hurting anybody.
That’s the ride from Knobels in Pennsylvania! Unless there’s multiple rollercoaster lover episodes 🤔 But Knobels was 20 minutes away from where I went to college and we learned about it in a human sexuality class!
I love when Kris gives compliments. Especial when she asks if we've been to the gym because then I'm like, "Oh, you... but yes I have been! thank you for noticing."
It's concerning how he doesn't sleep in the same room as his wife but in a room filled with ballons, and how he says " I don't have a problem" in a very non convincing way? 🤨
“He inflates a 12 inch ballon to 11 inches to leave room for... abuse...*dying inside whisper* oh my goooddd it’s like 50 shades of balloons” I died 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"You have 52 watermelons when you go to the store and a burgler comes in and takes 85 of them. how many crumpets are on the shelf" 😂😂😂😂😂 I love you so much never stop making such funny content
No better yet my math teacher says when we aren't paying attention "if you have the graph f(x)=1,000,000/x³ how many times does the number blue go into the moon?"😅😅😅
Art therapist here: he has emotional attachment issues. This is normal, however humans tend to grow out of it when become more independent (or adult). He is essentially replacing the lack of humans with human like things. There are features of a balloon highly similar to humans (rubbery texture, the squishy ness, the air pressure etc) what he’s doing isn’t wrong and he doesn’t really need therapy.
Yes! Thank you for your input. As long as he’s not hurting anyone, I’m happy for him. He doesn’t seem to be bothered by his love of balloons. But this is enlightening.
@@katherinehobaugh4322 oh don’t get me wrong, he really doesn’t need therapy (especially if he doesn’t want it) I’m saying if you *had* to psychologically evaluate him this is what you’d get. Everyone has something weird they like, but you only need therapy if it’s hurting you, others, or your wallet… and if you live in Florida
How, how can Kris make me laugh, cry, make my day and stop me from feeling shit all in 13 minutes? Came here from shorts a while ago, I see the notification on a shit day and click it, watch this, and now I’m happy! Thank you Kris if you see this! You’re the best! All the love from England!
I have the fear of balloons popping since a traumatic day when I was a toddler. Hate loud noises, popping of balloons, fireworks, guns etc. It's a living hell. I do love your commentary on this Kris!! (You are a very beautiful lady by the way).
Kris: “I’m an insomniac with depression and anxiety” Me watching this thinking I have depression and having anxiety while also having a fucked up sleep schedule: 👁👄👁
Depression would be easily helped if mental health care was affordable. Who the hell can afford 80bux to see a doctor, then 220-2250bux an hour for a therapist? And you NEED multiple sessions to get everything out and THEN more sessions to talk and learn how to manage your shit. If you're suffering from depression like me, I got hugs for you. I know it doesn't fix anything, but we hug and cry together. Hang in there dudes💕
"Julius doesn't share his love of balloons with everyone" unfortunately they did not account for a Canadian with multiple personalities and millions of subs reacting to his life's story 🧐🤷🏿♂️
RANDOM FACT: I have a friend who is your opposite and whenever he sees a balloon he HAS to pop it and doesn't stop till he does so we have all decided he is a psycho👍
10:08 LOL I was literally that kid in math class absolutely DREADING those problems!! Haha, to this DAY I struggle to figure out that hodgepodge of information and make sense of it when it comes to arithmetic! lol, love ya Kris
Kris has globophobia, the fear of balloons. I love you Kris and I really admire how you come on here and do these reactions. I also love how you don’t judge people to harshly
The intro is so relatable, insomniac, depressed and anxiety are hands down the best trio to ever exist and guys look at the irony, Kris in the last video said that she is scared of balloons popping and today we are watching her do this.........
Chris you always make our day, never has failed. Can we just appreciate how she took her time to edit this, and her makeup like- We love you Kris, keep it up
Oh my gosh I love how she always posts no matter how bad she's feeling. Also yay go Kris no matter what happens or who tries to pull you down don't ever let that stop you from being amazing
Kris and Julius would not be able to have sleepovers cause she would actually panic in his house and julius would panic in her house cause there is no balloons 3:41 😂😂
"I keep my balloon addiction hidden from most people" he says on TV "I heard through the family about your balloons" he recites to Julius as they both pretend the cameras aren't there
"Strange Addictions" is about the weirdest show I have ever seen, which what makes it all the more interesting to watch. The show's weird; IM weird, but not like these ppl. OMG!! **"THE TWILIGHT ZONE" theme music** WE LOVE YOU, KRIS! Hope you didnt break out in hives watching this, with your fear of the balloons popping!
I loved his analogy. Like, if a guy have 40 rifles at home, goes shooting every weekend and spends thousands of dollars in this, nobody thinks it's weird. But the guy likes balloons, that are harmless, cheap and his family is like "GO TO THERAPY, YOU FREAK". Like, yes, go to therapy. Everyone should, it's great. But what he does doesn't hurt anybody, doesn't cost lots of money, or time... Let that man be happy with his balloons, goddamn. He can open the balloon museum and be paid for that. Like... A 40 years old balloon is not something I thought was possible...
I hope all the RU-vidrs like you Kris realize you're raising an entire generation. Your videos make all of us feel so much safer and have such better moments in our lives. Thank you. Truly thank you. You and so many others impact so many lives in such amazing ways. You've raised us and raised us well.
"It's my love for them that brings them to life." Kris talking to her Queen mug: I love you. Freddy Mercury coming to life in his casket: HEEEEEEEEEEEYYYO!
The maths thing Kris was trying to figure out, I genuinely thought, "Ok well 62 and 8, knock 2 off both, that's 60 and 6. Take 10 minus 6 and that's 4, add the 4 back, and it's 54" and it dawned on me that this was what my math teachers were on about when they said I got the right answer but they didn't know wtf I was doing to get there so I always lost the "show your work" marks and often failed tests despite answering the questions correctly lol.
I do my mental math exactly the way you do. Working with 10s and is just easier. Also this way of doing things shouldn't get you marks docked - it does, but it shouldn't. Teachers just make everyone to do it the way the education system wants but not everyone thinks through problems in the same way.
My heart really goes out to him, he just wants to love his balloons. I didn't even know I liked TLC reaction videos. I could literally watch anything you post, review.. or even make a video about. 😅👌definitely need more of these!
Kris, when you can't sleep, GET UP and do something for 30 minutes to clear your mind and restore sleepiness. Then when you lay down again, DON'T THINK about anything! An active mind is sleep's worst enemy!
Kris is my spirit animal I have adhd, anxiety, depression, and emotional trauma. I also have a fear of loud noises and not being able to see what's in front of me. You are amazing and make me feel like there are other people like me and I'm not alone.😁
I really needed a Kris vid today. Received news of an extreme loved one passing. Love you Kris. Thank you for always making me laugh. So grateful for you
I have had a terrible fear of balloons (generally popping, but that makes me afraid of being around them or blowing them up) ever since a family reunion when I was very little where we played a silly game that involved racing to a chair with a balloon and sitting on it to pop it. So much noise. Needless to say, I lost the game because I was too scared to sit on the balloon haha. Also - I also have insomnia, depression, and anxiety issues - but your videos always brighten my day! 😁
I’m also scared of balloons, I have sensitive ears. I can blow them up and be around them but when other people are blowing them up I have to cover my ears or go to a separate room.
My sister is in the middle of a zoom seminar presentation, and she just came here to yell at my ADHD a$$ because I forgot and started laughing out loud. But it was totally worth it! 🤣🤣🤣
I am terrified of balloons. Been since I was a kid. Since Kris is too, she's the only one I can watch this along with (Also the fear of balloons is globophobia. But I think i have the loud noise thing too. But for me, I can't be NEAR balloons. All I see is anxiety when I look at them. And its a devastating aura and touching them gives me the creeps, hearing them pop is not nearly as bad as seeing them pop!mi feel like the balloons skin could be glass shards! )
His Son-in-law 'counselor' is wearing his best white t-shirt, has a mustache and the beginning of a fantastic mullet. Looks like the whole family is just super special 🤣 His wife doesn't want to be identified! LoL
@@jocelynecupcake I'm questioning why she even married him. She had to have known about his love of balloons way before he proposed. She knew what she was getting into.
He's the 1 guy that would rob places like Party City all out of balloons only X'D. Then, when the cops find him, they're just bombarded with all the balloons.
I thought I was the only one who had this hatred for balloons!! 😂 Everything you said is exactly how I feel. My kids don’t even get to have balloons at their bday parties. Nice to see I’m not alone in this. ❤️
2:42-45 _Guy: The same as a preference of blondes over brunettes_ _Kris: Nope; not the same._ 3:58: *Are you sure about that?* _[By the way, to those wondering; It's 54 years]_
BalloonXjulius I was a poor boy who worked in a grocery store and supplied my entire family even tho I was beautiful😻 I had never dated. Then I saw a balloon and it turned around and I blushed cutely. Then it floated over to me and said “hey cutie do u wanna come over”. I blushed even more and said “yes ofc”
Me at the start of the video: "I swear every person on these strange addictions has trauma. Video at 5:39: "Julius' addiction to balloons started when he was hospitalized at just 4 years old...". Me: "there it is."
I’ve not laughed so hard in a while, really needed the full body laugh 😂 also I’m totally here for more reaction videos like this, I never was allowed to watch the TLC show as a kid (as an adult I’m just fine without it 😂)
I would spend a small portion of my "crying alone" time with Kris. Like, I just want to drift into our mutual goofiness together. That could be my coping mechanism.
sleep tip: stay COMPLETELY still in a comfortable position. if you have something stuck in your head tell it to “shut up” (literally) and try to focus on sleeping.
