Man-made Floating Islands of Lake Titicaca 🇵🇪 🇧🇴 | Uros (Uru People)

Between the countries of Perú 🇵🇪 and Bolivia 🇧🇴 there is the highest navigable lake in the world, lake Tititcaca at 3800 meters high (12500 feet).
Inside lake Titicaca, there are handmade islands with people living in them, but I’m not talking about Dubai machine-made islands, I’m talking about handmade man-made floating islands made from totora! 🏝
These floating islands are made and inhabited by a millenary tribe called the “Uru people” or simply “Uros”, and they are adorable.
There are about 150 floating islands and about 4000 Uros living on them, they in fact have a very interesting society with rules and traditions.
I had so many questions like: Where do they poop?, How do they date?, How long does an island last? How come it doesn't go away with the wind? Is there a school? 🤷‍♂️etc, so I decided to make a longer video which I will be releasing soon on long video platforms like RU-vid and Facebook as many questions as possible, so make sure to follow me there if you want to watch that one 🙌
