In a world plagued by creatures known as Kaiju, Kafka Hibino aspired to enlist in The Defense Force. He makes a promise to enlist with his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro. Soon, life takes them in separate ways. While employed cleaning up after Kaiju battles, Kafka meets Reno Ichikawa. Reno's determination to join The Defense Force reawakens Kafka's promise to join Mina and protect humanity.

Kafka Hibino is DEFINITELY Human. He still remembers his Sense of Humanity before he was going be consumed by the Kaiju inside of him. Thank God he's Human

He's both. Originally human but parasited by a kaiju. As long as he keeps his sense of self, he's still at least part human. Not like the kaiju no. 9 who wears people's skins like a suit.

have no idea what will happen in season 2, but if I were the creator, at the end I would create a new special unit consisting only of kaiju people and Kafka would be the captain. In one of the members, Kafka as the captain would have to cut off the legs/arms of another kaiju from the team because he lost control 😎✨✨

Sounds cliche and boring and wouldn't make sense with the plot. Whatever went inside if Kafka is a rare kaiju that hates others of its own kind. Making a squad of them defeats the purpose of that plot point.

Isao was pretty much the reason Kafka lost control otherwise he pretty much had very much control over his Kaiju form it was just when he used his Kaiju made gauntlets on him and made him feel like he was gonna die that's when his Kaiju forms primal instincts kicked in and lost control

This tops Demon slayer, Reincarnated as a slime, MHA, etc. Sorry but no other anime puts this much work into their voice lines, color coordination, animation, and of all the sound. The show really put you in the situation with only 12 episodes.

I swear I had the same thought and started writing about it. Yes in a world of quirks and kaiju. Picture this Kaiju suits mixed with quirks. Similar to the numbers they need a specific person to make it work. That and special Kaijus with quirks. But those would be a rarity.
