I had a feeling when he mentioned that he’s been through this before and had gotten emotionally invested and turned out not to be the father. He put up that wall to protect himself. He did not deny that baby out of spite, he did it out of fear and those tears were nothing but relief

True but they both need a lil bit more of a backbone and her daughter needs to learn to stiffen up a bit because being “easy” usually leads to ppl treating u like this. Left with a baby they don’t wanna claim and no ring because he didn’t see her as settling down/wifey material. To be honest, it should be required in all births. If you sign the birth certificate and it turns out your not the father then you're still legally responsible in most cases. But the gov't don't care about who the true father is just who gonna pay. In my humble opinion...
