THE STORY: Singh was found guilty on four count of aggravated murder. He shot and killed his wife, her sister, and his parents-in-law in their apartment. He initially claimed he was just a witness to the murders and the first trial was a hung jury. He was found guilty in the second one and sentenced to death as seen here. The reasons for the murders were significant financial problems, ongoing rifts with his father-in-law, as well as an affair he was having.
How a jury could not agree on his guilt in the first trial is inconceivable, were they all asleep during the trial. The jurors did not listen to the evidence?? Thank god these three judges came to the right conclusion to sentenced this man to death.
In Ohio, the defendant has the right to a trial by jury or a trial by judge. The defendant requested a trial by judge and while trial by judge is usually done with only one judge, according to Ohio law trial by judge in a case where the death penalty is a possible penalty such as this case is done by a three judge panel.

I'm giving this video a thumbs down.. Why do we have to watch the back of the suspect's head during almost the entire court proceedings? Is this the cameraman's first day on the job?
There was plenty of evidence, it was a lone holdout who caused the hung jury. Every now and then some kook slips onto a jury and chooses to cause a hung jury when it is a clear cut case and that is almost certainly what happened in this case.
Could be as simple as a person of the same race not wanting to find the defendant guilty. Or a juror hates their wife/ex wife and in laws and sympathizes.
This is not the hardest part the hardest part when the time comes for him to face Almighty and holy holy Jesus Christ the Savior, and our Lord holy holy holy king of heaven and earth King of hosts King of all judgments.
