He only apologized because he was publicly shamed. He still feels that way.

If you have a problem with the Coffee Cart, yelling at the young women is not the way to solve it.

i like my neighbors to setup food trucks in my neighborhood, so I don't have to drive anywhere to get food at cheaper prices

You don't yell racist rants. But I do agree that residential and commercial zoning should be distinguishable. Bringing extra vehicle traffic were there might be children, cyclist, and noise ordinance. Breaks all those restrictions. Neighborhood watch groups in the past. Would make sure people in the past didn't loiter if they didn't belong. Now with giving people the free-with-all. You end up with people surveillancing homes for robberies.

See this is what happens when you lower the vendor fees from $541 to $27. I support entrepreneurship but now that the fees have gone down to almost nothing, expect brick & mortar businesses to shut down and thousands of these street vendors to popup.

There is a guy who walks by my house with a cart selling corn for over 12 years. I think it's called elotes. $3 for a large cup for lunch is great. People complaining about food vendors near the house is crazy. I walk outside and grab some cheap food. Uber Eats with a tip is $20. He sold it for $1 back in the day.

OK, where was the racist part? What did he say that was racist? If ktla is gonna make accusations, provide proof. As far as the guy being upset, some people just don't want everything that goes along with a business in their neighborhood, so I understand that. On the other hand, they did everything legally, so the guy is wrong calling it illegal. I do understand his frustration though. I would hate all the traffic that goes along with it to be next door to me. People, especially older people, seem to have a lot of anxiety about the destruction of residential neighborhoods with things such as ADUs (granny pads) and home businesses like this. That doesn't make them racist though. I personally wouldn't mind a coffee cart in my neighborhood.
