And to think, I drove that road through Arthurs Pass at 10-11pm as part of a 1,000km day/night drive from Wanaka, through Haast, Fox and Franz Joseph Glaciers on to Hokitika, through this road and all the way back to Wanaka through the Lindis Pass as well. I started at 10am and finished at 2:30am the next day. What a rush! What beautiful scenery - what I could see of, at night, at least.
