I hate when people try and compare Arteta and Ten Hag. Arsenal is Arteta’s FIRST JOB and Ten Hag is older than Pep. The timeline cannot be the same at all
@@robchicken6820 Arteta took over mid season from 14th or something, managed to bring them to 8th and not far in point from top 4, won the FA cup but rival fans want to revisionism this season as a failure because he "finished 8th". Second season was the only one where he was given patience. Not to mention that Ten Hag went in with a preseason, 200m spent in his first transfer window. Arteta took over in January and got Pablo Mari anf Cedric Soares on loan, are we really saying Ten Hag isn't being backed? Also Arsenal have almost always lost out on Arteta's first choice but that is never mentioned unlike for Ten Hag. Arteta wanted Vlahovic got Jesus, wanted Martinez got Zinchenko, wanted Mudryk got Trossard, wanted Caicedo got Jorginho, even Raya was the original GK target instead of Ramsdale. Don't get me wrong, it worked out which shows you can work out a system whilst not getting your ideal targets.
Abz a clown. Hazard over Salah. Stfu, it’s not even a debate anymore please calm tf down. Abz is just a straight Liverpool hater. Liverpool without 3 of their back 4 and they got 3 points comfortably away from home, but still thinks it’s not sustainable when they’re on the current longest unbeaten run in the league.
Clearly all u care about is goals… by your logic salahs a better premier league winger than ronaldo was…. Salah couldnt lace hazards boots hazard level of straight technical abilty is outrageous the guy did not train…. there’s a reason a lot of people say he was the closest thing to messi. Your ball knowledge is shocking.
@@Chidori_stream You act like Salah just scores goals. People who think that don’t watch Salah. Calling people casual doesn’t make your point valid. Being a good footballer isn’t just technical ability unfortunately. If it was Ronaldinho would be the GOAT.
@@mckennageno7053 trust me quite ALOT of people and ex/current footballers say Ronaldinho is their goat actually. The same way some peoples goat is r9. Neither one has as many goals as salah but trust me salah couldn’t do what they do with a footballs it’s impossible.
@@Chidori_stream those players bring way more to the table than Hazard. Salah is clear of Hazard. All hazard has over him is technical ability. Salah has it all Goals, Assists, Creativity, Trophies, Big Games.
They also do that with Man city. They don't even rate the players, all they say is the system makes everyone good and they forget that every player has to do their part
I love the podcast, but as a Liverpool fan, the talks about my team fucking sucks.... I get it there are many haters at the table and at SDS, but giving so little time to Liverpool often, or then just straight up hating, it gets tiresome. I get banter, and personal opinions and that but can we have a podcast soon where we talk about the game, passes plays highlights from EITHER team in the game. Im not looking for all 4 people to Glaze the shit out of liverpool at all, banter is welcome but fuck its dry to watch this section every week.
Salah dribble goal catalogue where he beat 3 players atleast from the top of my head for Abs Juventus 14/15 Watford 17/18 Tottenham 17/18 Arsenal 19/20 City 21/22 Watford 21/22
I have never seen anyone overrate Hazard more then what some of the members of the SDS guys are doing, Abz get off your fucking meds. Salah is clear of Hazard.
@@user-gq5qo6fh3j love Hazard but simply not true. Hazard’s UCL legacy is non-existent, has gone 2 separate calendar years without a goal. Salah’s numbers are far beyond Hazard’s, and far more consistent. Hazard wonderful to watch, talent-wise unbelievable. Unfortunately doesn’t make him a better player than Salah
I’m so tired of this hazard salah debate. Salah has been more consistent, has a better peak statistically. And has never had a drop off season like hazard did. This debate is over, salah is clear
It’s always going to be a debate and rightfully so because with justifiable cause people value the eye test over someone like salah who’s main game is being efficient. The watered down version of this argument is mbappe vs haaland (I say watered down coz it doesn’t quite apply the same as both score and assist a lot) as haaland gets more g/a generally speaking and if you wanna purely judge him on that and say he’s better fair enough but don’t expect me to agree with you. If for salah you wanna argue purely on stats and say he’s better fair enough it’s your right to do it but everyone knows salahs peak can’t chat to hazard. He used to toy with defences similar to ways only players like messi and r9 have been able to do, and despite what people think he did it for 6/7 seasons - a similar amount to salah might I add. So stop trying to just dismiss it because you’re a Liverpool fan
@@kylenorwood261 Hazard had a whole season off. Don’t chat about hazard peak is clear of Salah it just ain’t. If your talkies about eye test then Ben Arther at Newcastle is better than Haaland. That’s ur logic. Same saying firmino is better than drogba coz firmino is better on the ball. Stop being delusional and face the facts. Salah has way better numbers than Hazard. I always hate these debates. Salah is in the league wiv Henry. And hazard is in the league wiv the Aguero. Stop the abuse on salah is a dead baller coz he is the best winger in the premier league history.
what u saying "everyone knows" salahs peak cant chat to hazard? Salah scored 31 non-penalty Goals in his peak mate, hazard doesn't even reach near that. I think we need to value what player was supposed to do for their team week in week out. Understandably hazard wasn't supposed to be the goal scorer all the time for Chelsea, he was a creator a possession build up genius. Even though salah is liverpools "goalscorer" he has a peak of 13 assists and hazard 15 assits. So Salah does his role of scoring, AND he is damn close to hazard in terms of his role. And ur trying to say that he did it for 6/7 seasons "like salah"🤣. Mate Hazard played 31 games and scored 4 goals and 3 assists in the 15/16 season... Salah has never had a drop of season like that. Like we said salahs role is goals, his lowest is 19. Hazard role is assists and got 3 assists 1 season. So not only have we established salah does his role for his team better (at his peak) and more consistently, but he also can match hazards level of chance creation and assists which is hazards role. @@kylenorwood261
@@kylenorwood261 'But everyone knows Salah's peak can't compare to Hazard's" People who don't watch Salah and reduce his game to 'efficiency' often make statements like this, almost always egged on by Twitter lol. It's genuinely embarrassing because it demonstrates that they simply don't watch him. I'm a United fan and the Chelsea supporters still on this agenda need to get over it. Your arguments: The 'efficiency' comparison with Haaland is so flawed that you had to preface it admitting it's not a good comparison, which is amusing. You didn't even mention the most significant reason it's misguided, beyond "Hazard doesn't have anywhere near the production of the other 3" which you, again, already admitted to (hilarious lol). The real issue is even the "style" or "value beyond stats" comparison between those 4 doesn't work because Mo is a massive driving force at Liverpool. To compare someone who is part of nearly everything positive that's happened for them the past half-decade to the best poacher in the world is hilarious. The guy is top 3 assists every year and you're on like he's sitting on the goal line while Hazard was dancing around defenders. It might even be more funny when you consider young Salah is actually far more similar to Mbappe than any version of Hazard. A goal-scoring inverted winger who will punish you with his pace... yeah must be Hazard. Lol. If you wanted an actual "watered-down" comparison you should have at least picked a player profile that expresses in a way that supports your argument. Neymar was right there. He isn't just scoring to-finish moves; he's a primary offensive catalyst and one of the most influential in the world. Furthermore, he accomplishes this while directly impacting the game as a far superior and more efficient player. It's a cringe-worthy comparison for anyone who has actually watched both of them.
Honestly becoming unwatchable. Don’t even really talk about the game. Just talk over each other and say nothing remotely decent about the actual football unless it’s the team you support. Btw, your anti-Salah bias actually comes across as pretty anti-Arab bias now. It’s gone above just rival banter.
Man really said LFC “will fall off in March” when that’s when LFC come to peak. 3 United and 1 Arsenal fans talking about the Wolves game, and comparing Salah, a load of BS and 10 minutes of my time I won’t get back.
The Salah agenda is crazy, these Twitter merchants with this Hazard/Salah shout is incredibly offensive towards Salah, all they do is show Hazard v Liverpool in the carabao cup skinning our B team..
Chelsea "based on ability and not the actual football I have watched with my eyes over 7 years on the pitch" merchants are all shameless frauds to be honest i don't even get upset by them anymore lol
@@Ufb10come on now so van dijk was a b team play allow it bro. I agree hazard isn’t as clinical but he has more to his games than salah imo you can disagree
Month 8: Got some ideas/games for future SDS episodes. I haven't fully thought them out and am not sure if they would be good videos, but they could give you some inspiration. Love the pod boys! 1) Random Football Category Draft Challenge: This is similar to the iconic and world cup draft challenges, but each round would be a random football category with a different pool of players. You will have a total of 11 random rounds. For example: - players to never win the Ballon D'or (excluding goalies): Maldini, Raul, Henry, Xavi, Baresi, etc. - Barca 08/09 starting XI - English Midfielders 2) Start, Sub, Sell | Everyting but players edition: Similar format to classic version, but here you would do celebrations, greatest moments, freekicks, iconic hairstyles, etc. 2.5) Start, Sub, Sell | Speical situation edition: Same format, but you will start, sub, sell based on a specific situation. In example: Game is tied 0-0 you have a freekick right outside the box. Who will you start, sub , or sell? - Messi, Beckham, Ronalidno Some questions I thought of that are both related and not related to football: Who would you want as captain in a final? Goalkeeper you would want in a pk shooutout? What player you would want to have in a pub fight?

People were running with the narrative the Kloop was finished kloop out, when we had so many injuries like Diaz, Thiago and konate but he was getting crucified, whereas ten hag is getting protected and spent more money than kloop did that season.
@@BeansBeansBeans nah last season I thought we played really good, I thought our defence was solid and rashford was obviously amazing. I also think our midfield was very solid. Then we signed hojland which I thought would help our scoring problem but we basically threw all that away. It is still very early in the season but this has been happening for years now.
You're lucky you have Bayern instead of another pot one like PSG in a weird way. Bayern never get complacent and often get 18 points so although i think you're more likely to lose to Bayern, Gala won't pick up points against them unlike a PSG for example.
Listening to 3 United fans talk about Liverpool is the driest thing ever. Calling our team “unsustainable” when we’ve had the longest unbeaten run in the prem currently and calling our midfield “unbalanced” when the 3 that played when they were fully fit against a very good Aston Villa played fantastically, just make it make sense !!
I used to be a Salah sceptic & thought Hazard was better like Abz but at some point you just can’t deny Salah has surpassed all the wingers now. I’ve watched him these last 2 years & he’s actually developed his playmaking abilities now similar to what Messi did at his twilight years. People are still clinging on Hazard’s “aesthetics” whenever they are compared & thats it.

Hearing United fans talk about Liverpool make my ears bleed. You should have lost to Chelsea, Newcastle and was very poor first half against wolves. You haven’t played better than arsenal lol arsenal are unlucky not to be 15/15
How can they talk worse about Liverpool who are on a 16 game win streak in the league and undefeated this season worse than a capitulating United? Meanwhile Arsenal gets glazed for half an hour when they are in the same position as Liverpool. Shittest combination yet man so biased.
shocking that the United fans dont think Salah is the greatest winger in prem history, despite the stats AND eye test saying he is, just look at his G/A record against the other big 6 teams, Ronaldo and Hazard dont touch him
Come on now. The eye test does not say Salah is #1. I’m with you statistically, and I don’t know if I have him or Ronaldo overall at #1. But he’s not #1 on the eye test
@Sproles11 the eye test argument against him is rubbish. Just cos his style isn't as graceful as a hazard/neymar doesn't mean he isn't elite technically. He's got a great 1st touch. Has shown he can put players down and finish on his weaker foot and has developed an elite play making game. 1 of the most disrespected players ever
@@gurjsidhu2561 no, it’s not rubbish at all. Re-read what I said. I’m not saying he is bad on the eyetest. You can probably argue that Hazard is a technically better player than salah and even that is very close. That is all. He cant speak to salah otherwise i dont know how this is a debate. Hazard has been irrelevant for years and hes only 32.
I think the problem is that united and their fans are not ready for a true rebuild starting from the ground up. they are not willing to sacrifice 2-3 years of finishing 6th or 5th and rebuilding the squad from the ground up. look at their recent transfer. Casimero, varane, Ronaldo. they are not trying to rebuild.
Arsenal have shown it can be done. Last year was not expected, I think 3rd/4th was the goal last year not to be top and it showed in the lack of depth. Other than Rice this season we aren't buying stars, that isn't in the dna or the managers philosophy. Rice is also still quite young. Can't say I feel bad for you guys as I'm sure you didn't feel bad for us when we we're 8th but time to actually acknowledge ETH is making a few too many mistakes
The owners won’t allow that to happen. The club is a business to them, finishing outside of ucl football for 2/3 seasons is bad business. It’s the sad reality which is why every united fan wants new owners. Not to mention they don’t have the board of directors or recruitment team to help them with said rebuild. That club is just finished man.

As a Barca fan I’m listening to this whole we should’ve gotten Frenkie chat and laughing😂😂 Frenkie de Jong did not want y’all in the slightest. The biggest problem was convincing Frenkie to go there and Ten Hag failed. Xavi was willing last season to sell Frenkie as angry as all the fans were. Ten Hag should’ve looked for a profile like Frenkie instead. For e.g Kovacic. If Frenkie was the type of player he wanted why the hell did he go for Mason Mount
Not even a United fan. But I hated that Mount signing, they didn’t need him at all. One thing that I feel like they needed to fix was that backline. I don’t think that gets talked about enough about how horrid that backline is
As a Liverpool fan, there is no better feeling than grinding though a storm to see your team become one of, if not the best team in the world in certain years. United fans seem to not trust processes with any mangers!! Arsenal trusting Arteta even when it was rough, is the best decision that club has done since Wenger. The football they’ve been playing is amazing to watch tbh!

Ralf was public about our clubs wrongdoings in pressers, that’s why they wanted him out. Either way, even if you want to believe yourself that Ten Hag got rid of Ralf, does that now mean that Ten Hag didn’t want any DOF?? I don’t think so. At Ajax he had Overmars. They were succesful together. I’m 99% sure Ten Hag would have wanted a DOF, maybe not Rangnick but there are loads of Top level DOF’s Man Utd should have got for him. How can Ten Hag manage the team, do the tactics, review videos and games and then also do the recruitment….it’s too much for one man. That’s why all he knows and all he ever asks for is previous players he coached. A DOF coming to him with player suggestions would have been better like how he did at Ajax with Overmars. Ralf isn’t the only DOF in the world, Man Utd could have got Ten Hag someone else
Pep and De Zerbi know what type of football and players they want, Ten Hag spent his whole career playing possession football and then goes to United to play transition ball? Some people aren't built for the top and Ten Hag is one of them.
I'm being honest that united side is no where ready to challenge for anything. Even if they get rid of Ten Häag then what? The results won't change it start from the top of the club and I'm a barça culè I know how it feels when your club won't open their eyes and do what needs to be done.

When City's first XI (based on last season) is fully fit, their bench is: Gvardiol, Akanji, Nunes, Doku, Alvarez, Foden, Lewis, Bobb and Gomez. Yeah...I don't see how Arsenal's depth comes close. edit: I did not forget Phillips. I simply refuse to count him as part of the squad.
Arsenal with a fully fit squad would have trossard, esr,Havertz, viera, nketiah,Nelson,Ben white, tomiyasu, raya on the bench. To see arsenal’s depth wouldn’t come close is just a lie
@@Ghanoukk half the players you mentioned are significantly worse than their City counterparts (like nketiah, nelson, viera, esr) and someone like Havertz belong in the Phillips category. But hey, at least we won't be hearing injury complaints from arsenal fans this season, then edit: actually, unlike Havertz, Phillips was at least good at his previous club so maybe Havertz doesn't deserve to even be in the Phillips category
@@Ghanoukk What big word did I even use?... Alvarez is _significantly_ better than Nketiah. Foden is _significantly_ better than esr, viera, havertz. These are just facts. It would make a massive difference if City had Nketiah instead of Alvarez. Of course it's significant. Literally. Only reason Lewis isn't significantly better than White is bc he's 18 and still needs to bulk up but as a player, he's clear. Doku, at worst, will be as good as Trossard. But considering how much pros and ex-pros have been raving about him - in addition to his last two performances...chances are he's going to be better. Then you have Ake vs Tomi. Tomi's good but Ake was defensively (especially in 1on1s) arguably City's best defender last season. Was undroppable in Pep's eyes and started in the UCL Final - even though he was injured up until that game. City's bench is literally significantly better. You'll see all season how fans will complain about City's depth much more than Arsenal's.
Lyes is wrong. Ten Hag never said he didn’t want a Top Sporting Director. He just said he didn’t want to trust who Man Utd forces onto him. They had already decided to get rid of Rangnick before Ten Hag came in. Ten Hag had Overmars at Ajax. I’m sure he would want someone similar, a footballingn man
