I'm happy for us but i feel a litte bit guilty. I wish we had brought him in the summer. It's a bit s#!+y of us & him to leave you hanging, in the middle of the season. I guess elite-level footballing business is cut throat, there is no place for loyality and sentimentality. I wish sporting all the best for this season and beyond. 🙏🍀
The connection doesn't seem so deep if he left so easily...maybe a little one sided. Such a shame, tho, I really enjoyed watching Sporting under him, made me go back to following Portuguese football which I hadn't for quite some time.
Ten Hag looked promising throughout his first season with United. The results were generally quite good. It was really only in his second season that everything started falling apart.
@hasselett false results were better but performances were sub par particularly after erikson injury against Newcastle and the leuge Cup win in March of that season. We scored 58 leauge goals that season.....
As a Man City fan, this vid made me very excited to see how Amorim turns out. Not going to lie seeing Man Utd that bad is not good for english football. Heres to the next Manchester Derby being an exciting one!!!
Lyes you're crazy--insane!! Never heard of you before and why RU-vid chose to drop you on my feed is a mystery. HOWEVER...you are here to stay. Your excitement and 101% endorsement of Ruben Amorim is contagious. So, I'll check you on Sunday after The Football Terrace. Oh, you're also funny.
Diogo Dalot impact is crazy, he missed the shot on purpose to get Erik Ten Hag sacked, just to make Amorim come to the club, this is someone who Ugarte welcomed very well, and he will communicate to Bruno better.
As a rival fan, through a neutral perspective the best thing he can do is establish his starting XI freeze out the dead wood and sell them. If i was a UTD fan i'd hope another upcoming manager doesn't get burned under the banner.
The fact that Utd fans are super elated about this manager speaks to the desperation of the fanbase and the club! He might do well but to say he changes the culture of this club this season, might not happen. But man this uber funny lol
I’m so fed up of this cycle. Sack a manager too late, our number 1 target is in another job, get the wildcard option, comes in with huge expectation, doesn’t deliver, makes horrible signings, and the cycle restarts again. I pray I’m proved wrong with this one.
Sporting had a new President, a new board, the hadn´t won the league in 19 years. Four years later Sporting is the best team in Portugal and im a Porto fan.
last season we scored at lot more goals and he became less pragmatic because we had better players going forward, we just suffered a lot of goals because the keeper was bad cause we had a really low xG against but the defense really is strong
All I’m saying is ETH at Ajax played great football won leagues just like Amorim. But I get it new manager dopamine hits differently. Hopefully he will be just as bad as ETH 🙏
Ajax has argueably the best youth academy and eth picked the right players to play he spotted garnacho and mainoo his sight for talent is good and ajax were full of winners you can't teach hunger man united is just a team full of losers and man united will only be worse and worse new manager isn't gonna change anything
Mourinho even said getting second place with man united is his biggest achievement you know how sad that is he is basically saying your team doesn't wanna succeed
I think United need a experienced coach, that can make them compete for top 4. This appointment smells like a "Ten Hag" 2.0. I coach that did well in a league outside of top 5 is bad. Flick was available in the summer, Tuchel, Xavi who did well with Barcelona, Gareth Southgate and tomas frank would have been better options. I guess we will see tho:)
A hypothetical situation: If Ruben also fails to improve UTD, then what major issues should the Management fix?? Players? Club structure?? Because after SAF no other managers have been able to save Utd. also what are the major issues going on with Utd (apart from ETH) that is setting them back??
Liverpool pulled away from Amorim because he only plays a 3 at the back is at least what I heard. A manager who doesn't want to adapt to the current squad at his disposal and implement his tactics which are so vastly different from what Liverpool do currently could have been disastrous. Maybe it'll work for United, but I get Liverpool wanting to go for somebody with a closer play style to Klopp.
Amorim is an actually good manager, was Edward's third choice after Xabi and slot which is always a great sign. Idk if his strict 343 will translate to the prem but you never know
Amorim behind Slot? You Liverpool fans know how to gaslight. The only reason Slot is @ Liverpool right now is because talks with Amorim broke down. It's so well documented it's embarrassing for you to even suggest otherwise.
Bernardo Silva cannot be counted as a Portuguese player man He was in Monaco team that beat psg to a title and reached the semis of UCL He played at a higher level before coming to city
@@jordanc3942and when he brought them with him they couldn't carry him? That league is just not competitive enough and while he was revolutionary for them, the gap between Ajax and even PSV or Feyenoord is huge monetarily and while Sporting is part of the Portuguese big 3, they are nowhere near as rich and powerful as Benfica or Porto
@@Deathmare235Amorim used to play for Benfica. After he retired he decided to manage Sporting. Sporting is Benfica’s biggest rival. They’re the equivalent of Liverpool and Man united back in the day.
@@rellzismeThe problem was ten hag. They were his players lol. And the players kept you alive for past two seasons. Teg has no tactics or style of play. So if he didn’t have players to carry him to result after result united would've gotten relegated.
lmfao, this shit feels just like the ETH appointment, did great at a non top 5 league and comes to the big boys and one of the biggest clubs, too much to bite, crushed under pressure etc
Y’all act like this manager is a miracle worker and all the mess of the club is on the managers that is why we are always here. 😂😂😂 Ten hag needed to go but let’s not gas up another manger as yet as it wasn’t ten hag on the pitch missing all those chances
I don't get the excitement. Amorim is a great manager, but his tactical setups present very similar challenges to that of Ten Hag's. If Amorim can't change the mentality of the players, he'll have to change his system. Either way don't expect much, its going to be a very tough slog for the next several months.
Now you guys have to go through another rebuild, even more demanding due to the fact he plays a 343, you lot think manager is your problem?😂 lmao good luck
Portùgese ETH. Another dummie coach hyperfocused on direct play. That means more minutes for garnacho, bruno and hojland. Hiring this coach when xavi is free on the market is lunacy. Ineos out!
@philip244 if lvg had been backed like the two worst managers we've had ole and eth we would be in a much better position. What lvg did with a blend of signings and academy players was good
@@jordanc3942 everyone failed at United. Remember what Rangnick said? you need open heart surgery, and I'm afraid you can't get rid of all these rotten eggs in the squad in less than 4/5 years. He'd be gone by then.
