@@willisassounga1963Who says that? Anyone with common sense knows that it’s disrespectful to Hazard to even compare Salah to Hazard as Hazard is way better than Salah at soccer
as a neutral watcher, apart from salah there is no RW in the world more consistent and ruthless in front of goal than bukayo saka tbf. the numbers hes producing at 23 is insane.
@@AliAli-oo5djop said in front of goal, I don’t think Yamal is as consistent as Saka or Salah in that aspect, it will likely change in the future but at the moment no
@@josiah.392 Henderson is 10 times the player Rice is. Has actually won a lot too being a crucial part of that team. Come back to me when Rice wins PFA POTY or England POTY please and thank you 🤝
@@olefrde5990 yeah taylor is a bad ref, but the result was fair, both teams played well in different halves of the game so it’s a fair draw, with some questionable calls from Taylor
Not mad at the result given the fact that we lost gabby and timber, but at the same time I feel like arteta should’ve made changes before timber went down, he still hasn’t learned when to make changes and it cost us today
Although Arsenal have dropped points and are off the 8 ball so far this season, it's scary how good they have been with so many injuries and a tough schedule. When they have a fit squad I can see them going on a crazy run. Like you said, they just need to stay within that 5 point range of City come Christmas.
How many injuries do they have ? 2 ? 1 ? KDB missed 7 months in seasons and I don't hear this level of noise from City , they lost Rodri too vs Arsenal and they are still unbeaten
@@joshuakithyoma9575 stop trying to downplay the level arsenal played they were without Calafiori, Tomiyasu, Saliba, Gabriel left coz of injury as well as timber arsenal resorted Kiwior n a 18 yr old in lewis Skelly don't forget they were without their captain Odegaard Yet u're complaining Abt two players absence delusional city fans always thinking it's abt them
@@joshuakithyoma9575Saying things like this is disingenuous. You make it seem as if City and Arsenal are at the same level. City have had much easier fixtures than Arsenal and have struggled.
@@josiah.392 Exactly. And Tomiyasu would've started given Calafiori and Saliba were out. And then we had two further defensive injuries meaning we were missing 5/6 of our best defenders and finished with two midfielders at full back. Liverpool were missing a striker who's slightly better than Nunez and a goalkeeper. We were missing 2 of our 3 best players in Saliba & Odegaard, along with half our defence. It would be like Liverpool missing van Dijk, Mac Allister, Konate, Robertson and Gomez. Good luck with that.
The advantage arsenal had against Liverpool especially in the first time is that they have a younger squad..i could see the difference in youth, energy and speed
Saka unplayable at times tbh, so difficult to get the ball off him without fouling. Assna injuries mounting, Gabriel cuts out that trent pass for salahs goal imo
they've had very easy fixtures so far...apart from chelsea they've dropped points against every decent team they've played. couldn't get 3 points against inter, arsenal, and at newcastle
I love the fact u stopped at Havertz jumping on Szobo and the reff blowing his whistle but didn’t mention him pushing Trent into the net to score 😂😂😂😂😂
Szobo was missed this game, a Zubimendi for this game would have been so key with grav next to him more free and szobo on the pitch would give us a lot more legs in the press
The biggest mistake was playing Jones in an unknown role where he couldn't do anything. That tactic was horrible because it killed Liverpool's midfield Jones isn't a 10. Less control in midfield meant they had to do more long ball passes which make them lose the ball more. Had Szobo started it could've been a different game.
Lets not forget that Slot has basically 0 (maybe 1) players that he brought, yes I know that he inherited amazing players but some of them clearly dont work for his system. I just hope that FSG will give him the money to get his players.
Tbf, we weren’t at our best however, a point I’ll take after a hard Chelsea game, Leipzig away and Arsenal away with 1 less day of rest. Needed Szobo to start much earlier
Arsenal were the better team in the first half, Liverpool in the second half. Their decision making in the final third was woeful and towards the end, their game management was shocking. Didn’t try keep the ball safe and instead just booted it long. But overall, a fair result I think. Liverpool will be the happier of the 2 teams after that first half performance and taking a point at a very tough place away
Arsenal fans crying about injuries yet they neglect to mention how many players Liverpool also had out injured. Slot has been at Liverpool for only a few months and Arteta has been at Arsenal for 5 years. Arsenal had a day extra rest, played at home in the CL and at home vs Liverpool whereas Liverpool had the opposite conditions. Liverpool were lethargic first half because Slot admitted Arsenal set up differently to how he expected which led to the team not playing how they were supposed to. Neither team did enough to win, a draw is fair.
After today's performance by Liverpool, I realized that a lot needs to be done to compete for the title. Do they have enough squad depth if they face injuries to key players?
Based on the evidence from last season, no. Liverpool went for a quad last season right up till we started losing players to injuries. And over the summer, we have bought 1 player. Federico Chiesa... Who unfortunately has also been injured. 😅
They did the same thing with Tottenham last season they’re doing so well arsenal without injuries this and that and red cards which were our fault but still it’s not like this is a regular occurrence and Liverpool don’t have depth at the back one injury they look weak on the wings defensively honestly don’t see how they’re gonna win or even have a title race looked weak today against us and very easily beaten down the two wings the midfield also very easily broken through honestly could’ve have comfortably beaten them with our true starting 11 I think arsenal are being disrespected too much and we need X factor players which is true and I think we’ll be getting a big one in January we need a Rodrygo or an Isak a player of that caliber
Liverpool cant even beat us with all these injuries. Arsenal should've won and artetas subs ruined the chances for a W, for example KEEPING STERLING ON THE BENCH and a tired martinelli for 80mins when he ran out of gas in 60. AND TAKING OFF SAKA
@@haychhh6809 do you REALLY think that at anfield you'd get EVEN A DRAW without vvd, Salah not at 100% and konate injured at 70 mins??? YOU DONT GET NOTHING.
Every Arsenal RU-vidr said Arsenal would win 2-1 even if Saka did not play. So don’t gas your team up and then say it’s embarrassing Liverpool couldn’t win
Would you rather salah getting balls in behind against a back 4 of 2 typical midfielders (one never started in the prem) playing full back and Kiwior and ben white against liverpool in the second half?
It's funny to criticise arsenal for defending too much with that make shift back line. But you totally disregard that liverpool scores on the transition when Arsenal had actually committed men forward. Maybe if they hadn't been attacking then there wouldn't be the space for liverpool to counter in and score.
I'm sorry Lyes to be pedantic, but world class has a meaning. I just means to be amongst the best or of the highest caliber in the world. People just over use it for situation of being great
Exactly. In Liverpool's squad. We have only 3 world class players to be honest. Salah, VVD, Alisson. Trent is on the verge. And based on the evidence of this game, Konate can get there. Being world class should mean a lot more..
@@LyesClips I agree it’s is extremely subjective. But imo, if you need to argue that someone is world class, then they are not. Like no on argues Haaland, Vini, Salah are world class cause it is more clear and objective.
@@brianngure151 I don't think I can agree with that. For example Foden being called world class gets a lot less argumentative than Saka being called world class however when considering their positions Saka is clearly closer to world class than Foden is
@@andrewwill8368 you obviously didn’t watch then was the best out of the Liverpool 3 playing a role that is new to him, if you watch he was the one helping doubling up and Mac and Curtis was just no where defensively
Yeah right. Only to be beaten by McDonald's farmers league team Monaco, which isn't even a top 5 league and also being slapped by Osasuna. Don't come with the Red card excuse.
@@preethamhazard Let’s see here last UCL Arsenal lost to Bayern (Who Barca smoked 4-1) and City lost to Madrid (who Barca smoked 4-0) sooo yeah they’re going to crush any bum English side badly
I hate how arsenal fans are saying "bad refereeing" and "not played their best team" because they could have easily been beaten even worse if gabriel and timber had been subbed out earlier. this result is fair for both sides imo.
@shrisiva4016 and right after that goal you could see a narrow shape forming in that arsenal lineup. it was hard to beat with the limited time liverpool had left to adapt. obviously that goal would be the only chance after the substitutions.
What dumb comment is this. "If Arsenal lost their best defenders and replaced them with their 5th choice and a 18 year old midfielder playing left back for the first season in his career they would have conceded more"
Arsenal were not robbed. The foul on Szobo before the goal was a foul. Even if that wasn’t given, Havertz handles the ball (with the top of his arm, below the shoulder) when challenging with Konate, then once he’s past the keeper he pushes Trent into the goal. The goal would have been ruled out for any of these 3 infractions.
Should have left VAR to check on those things later, allowing play to continue instead of blowing the whistle that early. That was never a foul on Szobo. Clowntony Taylor as usual being biased against Chelsea and Arsenal.
All those Arsenal players that were subbed out .....will perform poorly in their next PL and UCL matches. Arteta might just cost the title with him sitting back with 10 men in these big games
Yeah with only 1 Premier league and 1 CL to show for. Where was he when it mattered last season when Liverpool were top of the table and bottled it in the end, not forgetting the humiliating defeat to Atalanta at Anfield in the Europa league. All those goals and assists for salah but not when it matters. Hazard carried Chelsea to 2 Premier league titles and 2 Europa Leagues.
City still top of the league and the team is filled with injuries and aren't playing either Liverpool and Arsenal aren't taking advantage of a weak city squad
Foul doesn't matter for their "goal". Let's say it's not a foul and he's weak. So? Goal's being ruled out for handball anyway. Arsenal fans are so so so cringe
Gomez should have played we need a new left back for sure cb/lb kind of player we can be too weak defensively on those wings sometimes need someone defence orientated
@@ItumelengVacu-qr9ss nah he’s really not he was before but he’s solid now nothing especially special about his game currently to warrant calling him one of the best in the world. Put ait nouri on this team and you will see way more production
World Class: A player that is a most definite starter for his club but mainly for his country. Such as Mbappe, Saka, Lamine Yamal, Vini, Rodri, Bellingham, id say are world class
Anyone else felt that the game was insanely boring. Both teams were quite passive. Maybe I'm just spoilt after the bayern and real madrid vs barca games.
This AGAIN proves why arsenal will never win the title and never really had the minerals the last couple seasons. Playing scared and parking the bus 30 mins against us and a full half vs city, i get it though cause arsenal don't have the trophies that give you the mentality but they do have a very weak scared mentality.
Don't let this distract you from the fact how ass martinelli is. Nunes has been considerably better considering hes only starting recently and didn't play at all pretty much last season. Defensively he doesn't even come close to nunes. 3 stars and 5 g/a CL and PL. 😂 Arsenal makes martinelli look decent how city did with jesus. Both are so ass
Arsenal are going to realise very soon that it is a marathon, not a sprint. What did Arteta say? We are gonna be flying? Guy got his wings clipped that second half.
I know he scored but Salah was non-existent until Timber got hurt. Him and Konatae were the most underrated players of the day for me. Gravenberch is just not on the level everyone said he was. He was constantly losing second balls to rice and Merino.
Sorry drawing at home and you’re trying to win the title. That’s the perfect way to not win it. Every point matters and guess what. To win the premier league you have to beat the big team, minimum at home. Arsenal haven’t
@@delmarlule1773 keep in mind they beat every single big team at home last year and didn’t win the league, and City didn’t beat Arsenal at home. So really you have 0 point.
