People are very quickly, and very conveniently forgetting, that Sancho played terrible under Ole, Rangnick, and Ten Hag at United. Likewise, Ten Hag literally gave Sancho 3-4 months off last season to get his mental health in order while being fully paid. I have zero time for the reactionary types that suddenly want to rewrite Sancho’s history at United. He quit on the supporters, he quit on his teammates, and acted incredibly unprofessionally by releasing that tweet 30 minutes after Ten Hag’s press conference. People always complain about player power at United. Sancho embodies that exactly. When you pay a young player 300-350K like Mo Salah when he has accomplished next to nothing at the very elite level, this is what happens. It gets to their head, they down tools, act petulantly, and decide when and how they want to show up.

Whenever I watched ManUnited matches, Sancho looks really good. The ball is always close to him, he has good close control. He can do stepovers like a Brazilian and he can make through pass like a Spaniard. He always looks like a very talented footballer to me.

I don't think Sancho got a fair chance at Man United. He joined when his teammates decided to throw Ole under the bus and had to play through the disaster show under Rangnick. Then he was consistently on the bench due to Ten Hag's nepotism with Antony and Mancunian favouritism with Rashford. Rashford and Antony can't lace Sancho's boots in terms of ability and it definitely hit his confidence having to watch these players play ahead of him. Rangnick and other managers he has played for have countered Ten Hag's argument that Sancho doesn't work hard in training and by the looks of things Ten Hag's training must be awful because his Man United team doesn't know how to play football. Amad is a very similar player to Sancho and he is getting the same treatment. If Amad and Sancho were at Man City or Arsenal they would flourish. Both are very clever, creative and technical players something that Rashford and Antony are not.
