In this week's video, Uri takes a look at a crazy hand from the $10kNL tables.
Most mortal men would play cautiously with pocket nines on a board like this. But not only does our hero raise the flop, he barrels the turn as well. And the craziest part is, even though the great Uri-san himself missed the play, the solver heartily approves! That being said, you should probably heed Uri's advice on this one, kids - don't try this at home.

My guess for why 99 bluffs river is to hit a min number of bluff combos to support the rest of the range. We have very few bluffs left that unblock the broadway region so we prob have to bluff whatever % gets the villain to have neutral ev calls with Ax

For why 99 is bluffing river, I’d imagine it has more to do with unblocking JJ-KK than anything else. Even though QJ has less SDV, it has much worse negative blocker effects

Thanks for the audio upgrade. It sounds so much better.

I would have folded flop with 99. It's also the most frequent GTO response in this scenario. So maybe from an exploitative perspective it's not the best option, but surely can't be that bad.

Seems to me it really dislikes the blockers for KQ/QJ, and its only other bluff option is 22 and 44. So 99 mixes

Sorry, Uri. I am new to this world. What are good bluffs Markkos could have? K2, O4, J3? Are these the type of hands that block AK AQ AJ... but unblock or allow Petr to have hands like 10 9, 87, 99,77,66,55 that he could fold? I enjoyed what I could understand at my level. Thx.

mb he raised 99 to put pressure on all the suited and weird stuff BB is suppose to 3b, then on turn he baits in all the KQ KJ QJ type of stuff aswell, and gets the JJ QQ KK to come along, and then he blasts off to fold the remaining pocket pairs and Tx that he kept in by using small sizes? I have question, when you make a sim like this, and you see 99 does something on turn and on river, but it's like, 70% freq of barely one combo, is it fair to assume, "ah u can do this with 99" isn't it so rare we get to this spot, to get that much of value from the sim? (Im not telling, im just wondering). Another thing, mb he raised with 99, cos AK AQ is mostly using a bigger sizing on this board, and the small size is used very infrequent by AQ, atleast when i check in gtowizard, mb perhaps

@@giuseppe9771 People cheat for no reason, their were couple of chess GMs that got caught cheating online for no monetary reason just to win, got caught said they wont do it and cheated again, now just think what people would do for this sums of money. And you can't even prove this guy is cheating. You can read out RTA output and then you just adjust what you think your opponent is doing, there is no way of catching this or proving he is cheating.

@@giuseppe9771who the fuck finds this line in game? 99 is not even a combo you might memorize as a flop raise as not being a focus point when looking at the spot. 100% RTA

@@sneakerworldromania32 gto is not about memorizing, it's about understanding; and while I agree that the first be inhuman my point is that the latter is definitely possible, and everyone is at a different stage on this path. If Uri at the end of this video changed his mind about the spot because he found an explanation for this line, than he might use a similar line with a similar hand next time. Will we accuse him of rta then?

What I don’t understand is that u guys r complaining and saying 9 9s used RTA but he torched his stack into oblivion “by using RTA” Bring more RTA users if this is how they play with 9 9s on a A 10 8 board🤣👍🏽

Do you think that seeing this kind of super low frequency mix nodes in real life is possible proof of RTA ?

Definitely not proof. It’s suspicious and would make me look deeper, but one hand is never proof
