Whether he was told or not, they were 13 and 14 years old. The adults who let them sleep in the room together are to blame for this chaos. This is tragic all around.

I blame this mother she was playing games from the beginning telling her parents one thing and she knew in her heart that Mr. Johnson was the father. As for the stepfather he shouldn’t have been saying anything. He should have sat down he’s going by what the mother has said about Mr. Johnson all these years. Shame on the mother for not communicating effectively with Mr. Johnson. I feel like Mr. Johnson is sincere, he has missed a lot and now he has to build a relationship with his daughter. Both are hurting but it could have a positive impact for their future. My first love was my father he showed me what a real man is suppose to be (RIP Daddy😢💕). I think her family was very embarrassed by the fact that these teens were technically family members. They were allowed to sleep in the same room because they were supposed to be cousins. Her family probably didn’t want that getting out and forced the girl to say the other boy was the father. I think the mother and her family lied a lot and she is putting all the blame on dad to take heat off of herself and her family.

Every time i see this episode it breaks my heart. I hope Amber sees where her mother was wrong

I actually feel for Dad in this one. I believe the mother turned her child against him and caused a lot of the problem. Sounds to me like she wanted to get rid of him and replace him with her boyfriend at the time. They were just children when she got pregnant, which makes me think the adults in the picture did them all wrong. You can’t just go back and forth about who the father is out of convenience. I believe he was told he wasn’t the father so she could build a life with her boyfriend and then when that fell through, she wanted to go back to saying it was him. They may have really believed the other guy was the father, but they already did a DNA test with him, relatively recently as they said. That’s when they knew this man was the real father. I feel sorry for the daughter, but also for the father because her family talked down on him and didn’t give him a chance. I do believe he tried.

So..they had a baby at 13??🤔 Lord have mercy...smh..the mom is 31 and the girl is 18..wow!!
