make sure those cuts get deep cleaned. During the Tuscaloosa tornado some people got sand blasted with super fine particles and years later died from fungal infections
Girl, instant chill bumps when I heard her scream. I sent that to my boy and said, “You stay RIGHT BESIDE me if we are ever in a situation!!!! I don’t ever wanna be screaming like that mama was.”
@Palestino555 Wow! Do you know what Hamas did to Israeli mothers, daughters, sons, fathers, grand parents, babies!!!!!!! Get off your high horse and stop supporting a bunch of loser terr or ists who hide behind civilians to avoid being ended. Despicable.
I'm retiring after 30 years lead met here in Fort Worth in the NWS. I was raised in Beford (Harwood/Brown Trail area) and went to BJH and Bell in the late 70s/early 80s, then A&M. Go get em' Connor! Keep the H.E.B. tradition in meteorology going!
My kids and I prayed for them when Ryan Hall said the Tornado was hitting this gas station. The honor of them being alive belongs to the God of this universe. This was a big strong tornado. God stepped in. Prayer is powerful!
So was God just not prayed to enough for the people who have died in these storms? Or is that just when it becomes "his ways are not our ways"? I get praying, I get feeling so helpless in those moments. I myself living in Oklahoma now with my children and grandchildren and trying to get through this last severe season without a storm shelter and it's been terrifying. But as I see the stories of the people who lost their lives or loved ones died and I see comments about how great God is, how do people not see the sad irony of that statement? A woman prayed like crazy for her family to live through one of the Iowa tornadoes and so did her mom. But that woman lost her mom who died trying to save two of her grandchildren, along with also losing her husband. Only she and her 3rd child lived. Are you saying she didn't pray hard enough? Things like this are only part of why I won't ever be a Christian again but how hurtful that must be for others to read. You are free for your views but it would be nice for you and other believers to consider the very painful impact those words have for those who suffered when God did NOT step in.
@@DarlaAnne RE: 'Things like this are only part of why I won't ever be a Christian again but how hurtful that must be for others to read.' That is hurtful to those of us who do believe in Yeshua, the Son of God. I can't answer your question why some and not others suffer tragedy but will not deny my Savior.
@@user-rb2 no one can understand gods plan. If he could save everyone no one would die, if no one died then no one would live. I can imagine its normal for you guys to be upset after losing loved ones, its not that praying doesn't work but as we have free will nature will continue as well. A flood that drown people may also water crops or farmland that others need to survive. Anyone can be caught in the crossfire of mother nature, jesus cant spare every single person just because they are a believer the cycle of life must go on. I hope this kind of makes sense. I mean if god saved every single believer then that would ruin the purpose of free will if all non believers can't be saved anyways. The purpose of believing isn't for selfish reasons, we all die, its just our faith in god is what gives us hope for the afterlife and hope to be better people while we are alive on this earth.
@@DarlaAnne especially as you reside in Oklahoma I defintley think a storm shelter is neccesary do you simply think you can survive without one or you just can't get one for another reason.
@@user-rb2 I would never ask you to deny your savior or your religion in any way whatsoever. Simply asking those who believe to be mindful of how those "praises" can truly hurt people.
Omg!!! That looks sooo scary .. i live outside of the united states and yes we do have our own island's super typhoons and it is like never ending ordeal. Thank you for sharing your video. Hope everyone are safe. 💕
Lol! I read your comment, then looked at the station reporting. He's not as bad as the WFAA reporter Bert Shipp who told the citizens in Dallas in the immediate hours after JFK's assassination they should all hang their heads in shame as if it was their fault. Not very professional!
@@Smedley1947 That is horrible... God did not cause the tornado, Satan did.. For there is only death because of him (Satan) God is a God of peace but because of sin we all face death, that is why God sent his Son Jesus to be crucified on the cross to give everybody past, present and future opportunity to be saved when Jesus comes again. give your heart to God.. Jesus is coming so very soon.
It's Not OK, I'm Sorry 😢But I hate when people say that, " it's ok," it's Not OK when something Horrifying happens, when someone hurts you, when someone you love dies or is hurt, there is Nothing OK about it!! So just accept the reality of the situation and say HOW CAN WE MOVE ON, HOW CAN WE GET THROUGH THIS, HOW CAN I HELP YOU, WHAT CAN I DO TO BE A BLESSING TO THOSE IN NEED!!❤😢IT may be Bad, but it can always be worst, so just breathe, and 🙏 Pray, and be Grateful
Good grief. All he was trying to do was offer some comforting words. Did you want him to say "It's not going to be okay?" It's easy to armchair quarterback what you think people should say in the middle of a tornado but in real life, it isn't the time to worry about whether you're too comforting to those around you!
Would you rather him be telling people "we're all gonna die!" in the middle of this already traumatic event? People generally say comforting things like "it's ok" when others are scared and panicked. And hey in the end it WAS ok for this group of people because they survived and that's the most important thing.
Fuel stations should be required to have a safe room and/ or storm shelter in the back for employees and patrons safety at all times... Whether for robbery or tornado or something in between! 😢 Too many folks have died trying to take shelter in service stations and they were lucky they were only nicked
Geesh, 70 people can't even go to a gas station anymore w/o raising suspicion! What's this world coming to?!😃⛽ They were: A) Low on gas. B) Lost. C) Needed to take a biffy break. C) Taking cover from being shredded to pieces in a gigantic washing machine.
Where is my son!?! Where is my son?!? KEVIN!!! Definitely not "Home Alone"! Lord I pray for their minds/ spirits (PTSD), livihood & total well-being/ restoration! In Jesus' name!!! Amen.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
It's a natural human reaction for some people to use these coping mechanisms after suffering through an event that they have to relive in the telling. It's not uncommon.
