This man who has autism loves Jim Henson, the creator of The Muppets, and so on what would have been his 87th birthday, he sang Jim Henson’s famous song “Rainbow Connection” and ends up stealing everyone’s hearts in the process.
This hit me hard bcuz my youngest son is autistic & I just want all children & adults with autism or any disability to be treated with respect & dignity! We're all created by the same Heavenly Father so actually we're all family. And if we just loved one another & stopped listening to the powers that be telling us what we should think or feel we'd have a beautiful world to live in. We need to led with love & compassion towards one another. Thanks for sharing this & all of the videos. May Abba Father continue to Bless,Keep, Watch Over & Protect you all & your families Always Abundantly in Jesus name I pray,Amen!
Brought tears to my eyes! What a wonderful performance, you sounded wonderful! My first child was a child of Sesame Street back in January 1970 & all children after.
I loved the Muppets growing up now as an adult hearing their songs make me tear up. I have my little cousin who is the first being diagnosed with autism in the family. We knew that he needed extra care for which neither the state or our family could provide so his father enlisted and they have a better life. He's a freshman in highschool now and on his first day he called each our fanily members without saying anything but wanted to hear the joy in us recognizing that it's him. I am so proud of him and love him all the same.
That song always chokes me up. I remember exactly where I was when that treasure of a man, Jim Henson, died. I was utterly devastated. What a lovely tribute. 🐸💚
