Security guard caught in the middle again...management don't want the drone, so they tell security to stop it, even though they have no power to do anything, and it's just embarrassing for them.
We are programmed to not do as we are told, well some of us are ! If we just lay down and comply before we know it we will have no rights left to defend. Respect DJ, top auditor 👍
That is exactly what people have done in Victoria, Australia. No one here wants any rights, they want their every move controlled by Daniel Andrews and his corrupt, dishonest government. Can't wait to return to the uk and enjoy the freedom it offers.
_"Management have said you can't . . . . "_ It's bizarre that company staff think members of the public would be at all interested in what _their_ management say . . . it's like walking up to a member of the public and telling them that management at a Spanish shoe retailer doesn't want that member of the public drinking coffee . . . why would anyone care ?
Pilot: "Speedbird 6532 requesting permission to transit your factory zone". Factory Manager: "Zone transit is declined, management say our factory is restricted airspace. Please turn right head 030". These factory managers double up as air traffic controllers. Amazing!
@Falcon-um7voIt's the legality of it that's key, regardless of what Joe public thinks. I've flown hundreds of orbits over my home town, flying over the same properties, likely much to their annoyance. But they live under n ATZ. There are also industrial estates on approach to the runway. They don't own the airspace and have no say over what goes on overhead regardless of reasons.
@Falcon-um7vo What you are consistently failing to understand is that we are governed my law, not what people like or don't like. The CAA has decided that you CAN fly a drone of this weight in uncontrolled airspace. That is Irrespective of whether people like it or not. There is absolutely no law saying they must transit and not linger. The CAA decided this, NOT you. If you don't like it, thats tough. You'll just have to accept it. Ranting on here won't change anything. Are you mentally slow?
Poor fella, I do feel for some of the guards, must be awful being told nonsense and being asked to I force it. Nice though DJ, I like the idea of ‘now you’ve told me I can’t, I’m going to show you I can’
YET AGAIN YOU PROVE WHAT A NICE GUY YOU ARE YOU TAKE ON THE ANGRY POLICE AND BUSINESS WITH NO FEAR BUT WHEN YOU'RE FIRM WITH A MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC YOU FEEL AWKWARD KEEP ON FLYING BUDDY GARY
Another great video DJ . It would be great if you offered subscribers that find your hidden key ring the chance to go with you on one of your audits . That would make a great video. Keep up the great work
Security guy seemed pleasant enough stuck between probably what he has been told to do and reality. Apparently sia students are being told about auditor's and if he is due soon he will have a story to tell...... He met DJAudits 😊
I feel for the security guard. I think in this one you should of educated him better I guess you was having A bad day because you was a bit abrupt to royal mail ALAN... But everyone has a off day still a great video 🤷🤦🧘🧘🧘🧘😉👌👍
Great work.If your about Wiltshire plz feel free to audit the oasis leasure centre .it's being held to ransom by the council so they can build houses....authority that is corrupt should be removed..best of luck
There is a basic principle in law that the owner of a property will also own the airspace above that property, to such a height as is necessary for the ordinary use and enjoyment of it. This was established in the aptly named legal case Bernstein of Leigh (Baron) v Skyviews & General Ltd.
Did you know DJ that you need special SD cards for drones and dash cams. Standard SD cards are prone to failure because they are not designed for such work. You probably won’t believe it but it’s true. KW.
The problem is that security are so used to taking management orders and enforcing them on employees and visitors that when they meet the public, they fall into pattern and repeat management as if its law. They fail to adapt and do the following. 1, Approach members of public 2, remain polite and inform them that management say XYZ 3, tell the member of the public this is management position, not mine, I'm only forwarding their wishes to you. 4, return to gatehouse/office and call management and inform message forwarded. That's it! Security seems to get stuck in this battle of will, arguments type of loop. Rather than pass the message and walk off, they did as they were asked and they can't do anything else.
And get removed from their job! Why would anyone do that? Would you tell your boss he knew nothing and to go and tell DJ himself? Of course not. The guard just went and said what he was told to say, made sure it was on film and left. He never made any attempt, other than that, to stop the flight.
@@stetomlinson3146 Following the law and not harassing innocent people on public land should be the security company policy, then this company, if they don't like it they don't hire them, and if all security companies follow the law, then this company has no one to hire. Why the hell should people on their own public land be harassed????
If he did a SIA DS or CPROT or CCTV licence from Oct 2022, drones is part of the course licence. The security person, proberly he has a old SIA SG card which is a basic card. They should put in the course some basic GDPR and drone stuff, and also make SG's do the SIA CVTV licence / course
The ARROGANCE of the management is breathtaking. Hopefully, their intelligence is higher than their knowledge of the drone laws. Well done DJ and defying their orders, this is probably the first time somebody has told them to get lost.
Honestly you should just print out the relevant details of the ANO that allow you to fly over, hand it to the security guard each time and tell them to ring the CAA for clarification about over flying, I know it wouldn’t produce such an interesting video, but you’re going to be the causality of your own downfall eventually because you just know that in the next update they will remove the 250g exemption that allows you to do this, and then what are you going to do?
He’s clueless that guy 😂 Management said you cannot fly a drone Dj replied I can and I will But MANAGEMENT said you can’t not fly a drone Like the word management is going to scare worry DJ 😂 I think it turns him on 😂
Always worth taking video footage of their cameras pointing at you. If you see one moving, then I suggest take the drone over to say hello. You could even have a little sign on the drone saying hello sailors.
It is a shame the Gateman was so polite as I was dying to say the Company has a lot of idiots on tap but maybe I still can if I call in and meet the Management Team.
You dont have a right to see the sia ... yes it has to be on display but the only people sia licence holders have to show their badge to is police or the sia
If it has to be on display then surely that implies that it actually needs to visible and readable to a member of the public, and that it can't be concealed, right? From UK government website: "It is a condition of your licensed status that you wear the licence where the front can be seen at all times when engaging in designated licensable activity unless you have reported it lost or stolen, or it is in our possession." Seems like it's required, right?
@@bitsbytes123 yes it has to be on display but you can turn your back on a person or step back ... people need good eye sight to read the name as its small..... like i say the public have no right to demand to see it .... i wear mine on my arm ..its on display ... i can stop people walking around to my side to read it .... its simple ... just because somethings on display it doesnt give members of public the right to demand to see it so they can read it ...
Security guard worrying about keeping his job if he doesn't convince DJ to move on and not fly the drone. The dictators of site management and have no authority on public land. At least he wasn't aggressive
@@rupertrigsby 1.) He said himself that he was rude. 2.) talking to a fan for 5 minutes was hardly going to make any difference. The security guy had already walked away.
Feel a bit sorry for this one, he clearly is being told he has to stop DJ but knows theres nothing he can really do. Shame we dont have the before footage either to see if he was hostile off the bat. Proper cutie regardless.
These people who are in charge of this site seems to forget that they do not have any authority outside the site of their business. And as for the security staff he doesn’t have any authority beyond the site either
They really missed the opportunity to have DJ star in one of their adverts. Imagine the scene. DJ is naked in one of their showers (apart from a pair of green trousers and a face mask). He screams "Time to get wet FROM ABOVE!!!!!" as he turns the shower on. Then a load of tradesmen keep knocking on the shower door and asking him for a keyring. Would be great for business.
When confronted like this why don’t you use your phone and say well I am just phoning the owner of the airspace up and have a fictitious conversation, and end by saying all is god to carry on.
