Hi Chloe! Loving the templates and tutorials. As I'm working to implement into my business, I'm curious to know if or how it is necessary to have the dashboard template and the action zone template? Can you show us how you navigate between both within Notion?

Hi Monica, thank you so much. I'm so sorry, I'm not not sure I fully understand you're question. Can I ask which dashboard you're referring to? Right now, I sell five dashboards: Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Research & Development. The action zone one is free. None of them are necessary. The beauty of Notion is that you can customise it however you like. The templates/dashboards are shortcuts if you don't know where to start. Does that help? If not, let me know :)

Love this!! Qs: Have you had friction from clients about messaging in Notion vs email? Also is your project database unique and duplicated for each project? Lastly for files you don’t find it redundant to have them upload files to Notion, only to have to download them all to your computer va using a cloud drive everyone can access?

Amazing question! I haven't had any friction so far. I don't use any other cloud drive now. Everything is uploaded directly into their own client's portal. We both have access to so it tends to work out really well. Hey Chloe, great vid! Is there a way to add actions in a project template? I have projects that I repeat that I would like to pre-fill a number of actions into.

Hi Chloe! This is a great template that I've started using - thank you so much! With reference to timestamp 9:10, if any of the action tasks within a project are actually complete, is there a way to avoid them still showing up here on the Projects page? (As I complete action tasks, I'm changing their status to "Complete", but when I look at the projects page it would be great to only see remaining tasks rather than all the tasks!) Just checking if this is possible ...tried playing around with the filters but couldn't quite get it 🤗

Yesss! If you go to the 3 dots next to new > Select Filter > Click the 3 dots on the filter opening up the advanced filter settings > Select Status is not Complete. That way it will only show items that are not complete. Does this help? I can create a quick video, if needed. :)

@@chloeforbesk Sorry to be a bother!! Am I doing this on the Project database? When I click the 3 dots next to New, I can open the filter but then there’s no more 3 dots 😵‍💫

Can tasks automatically be assigned to projects when they're created just by virtue of field data?

Within the project, yes. This is because the tasks displayed within the project itself have a filter that says any task added is assigned to this project :)
