While I ride my Vstrom 650 XT (NILE) and the rest drive their way to Gombo Rongjon from Manali via the Shinkula Pass.
We make our way through supremely beautiful landscapes and freezing cold weather. Shinkula Pass was extremely cold and windy while a fellow biker takes a fall on the Shinkula Top. I help him pick his bike up and help him with some basic tools to align his handle bar and mirror.
While I continue my way towards Gombo Rongjon, my GoPro starts to behave wierd and starts to shut down abruptly due to extreme cold weather. During that phase, I take a fall in the ice cold water on the first water crossing near Gombo Rongjon. I was not prepared and lost balance. The water levels had risen and currents were strong.
We finally end our day at Acho Camping where I warm my self up, change into dry clothes and savour on a delicious dinner prepared by Acho.
