TRADtv provided coverage from Glasgow's 2023 Piping Live! Festival in the run up to the World Pipe Band Championships. As part of our activity at the world famous celebration of bagpiping from all across the world, we caught up with various pipe bands as they rehearsed for the big competition throughout the week. Here, we chat to members of New Zealand's Manawatu Scottish Pipe Band as they prepare for their 2023 Grade One performance at Glasgow Green.
‘Manawatu Scottish’ was established in 1925 and is based at the Manawatu Scottish Society hall, Palmerston North, New Zealand, with divisions competing at a variety of levels of competitive bagpiping all over the world.
