Manchester Airport - £1bn transformation

Manchester Airport has unveiled footage of how it will look following £1bn transformation, scheduled to be completed in 2025.
Subject to securing planning permission, it will see a state-of-the-art terminal building created through the expansion of the airport's existing Terminal Two building.

No sign of these improvements on the ground. Moving between terminals is an absurd inside outside meandering journey that is unsafe, poorly marked, confusing and lengthy

Long,long walk to gate C5 the notices state 8 minute walk (yes if you are Linford Christie. Only 2 travels tor’s to break up the long slog. The same in arrivals you need golf buggies to take you to security.

4 engines aircrafts are a dead project. A340 - finished. B747 comercial aircraft - no orders. A380 - only Emirates still ordering. Future: A350, 330neo, 777 and 787

Seems the work done is nothing like the drawings so i say your advert is full of crap just like manchester airport is and lets hope they demolish terminal 1 as it is now dangerouse especially when you reach the duty free maze ?

It’s a 10 year project , in the next 5 or 6 years the former terminal will have a rebuilt foyer to fit in with the new west terminal foyer and the remaining 2 piers will be built.
