at 76 years old, I've seen a couple women like that one, she is frightening and definitely a me, me, me, me, me person - the guy is so happy to please her, but I'm guessing he'll eventually run off with the au pair - oops too much ??? who cares, she was irritating beyond words
You're talking about a woman with a young child who's willing to take on a property that needs to be redone from the ground upwards... or that's what they took on in the end. Let's uplift women.
@@fionajones8231 Wait, I thought women were stunning and brave, equal in every way? Why should their crap behavior be overlooked or even worse "uplifted"?
@@randychase305 I agree with you, behaviour shouldn't be overlooked. Women should uplift, motivate and encourage other women. Men and women aren't equal in every way. How good at you at giving birth? Check out Vanessa Williams versus Andy Murray. We aren't exactly the same. Vive la différence! Hugs.
I hope Marco's found his voice and his pants in that relationship! Jacinta is inconsiderate, she wants it her way or no way. Marco's along for the ride!
*The show is called Location, Location, Location for a good reason.* I wouldn't have bought my house in a million years if it wasn't in this location. I wanted 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with an attached garage *on the water* in a safe area in central Florida. Due to my budget, I had to buy a fixer upper. I could've had a larger, nicer home 2 blocks away from the water.
Now that I've seen that part, I agree. She acknowledges that they both have expectations due to their childhood homes but she's effectively saying that she won't consider, won't even look at one that is like his, even though he has come the distance and is living in her country, not his own
Loved the prank Kirsty played on Phil. Jacinto said she didn't like a house with front steps . haha you clearly see at the beginning, her house has stairs
Marco’s wife is being unreasonable….he seems a bit frightened of her, he wants to keep the peace. She always wants HER way. Not a good omen for their marriage.
From the comments, I was expecting Jacinta to be awful but she wasn't. Sure, she could have at least gone inside the house but her husband also ignored that she clearly didn't want to live in that kind of area. And one of the reasons she likes their current area is that it's close to where he works, which means he's able to spend more time with his family instead of having a long commute.
Good grief, Jacinta is a shrew. Shakespeare wrote that character right on the money. Only problem is Marco has not tamed her yet. Gracious that woman is ridiculous.
It looks like that everybody is a kook so an big kitchen is needed and want bars, cafees, restaurant, an a big room for entertaining! Is there nothing else in there lives?
Marco needs to grow a pair, he's obviously under the thumb it's her way or the highway not an ideal recipe for a successful marriage. What about cpmpromise, give and take, respect? She spoilt the programme.
My sincere hope is that before I leave the planet, I will actually see one of my beloved Location, etc. programs where NO ONE says "it TICKS all the boxes" - that is so cliche and not something I'd expect from the educated English people -
Something else shocking besides Jacinta's rudeness to her husband: someone putting a house up for sale with a £650,000 price tag (back in 2016!) and not bothering to put away balloons, piles of clothing, and other assorted clutter.
She is selfish if she cant think of his interest..would it kill her to go see the house...hope he dumps her soon ...the selfish person will always be putting herself first...get rid of her !!!
Very happy for the two young women. That was a very good house. Jacinta is getting flamed, but I understand her feelings. I'm a city person through and through and would shrivel up and die in a suburban setting. I did feel bad for Marco though. He lived that huge house with the huge patch of land. What the two people wanted most was not reconcilable. With only one child yet, however, I'm not sure why they wanted five bedrooms unless they are planning to have many more children.
Keep in mind that they’re only with the couples for a few days. The likelihood of finding every single couple a house in that short amount of time is extremely low. Especially because deals can fall apart for any reason.
Everyone is being really tough on Jacinta, but we see men on this show behave selfishly all the time. Jacinta’s built her support network & job after moving north for her husband. That she knows what her family needs is just realistic. What happened to “Happy Wife, Happy Life”? That huge house was out of her comfort area & would have been so tough on her freedom. I think we need to give her a break.
It seems like Jacinta was focused on being in one very specific area. House three was in an area close to her preferred area and she still wasn’t happy with the location. When you’re that focused on a specific location, then you need to make major sacrifices on the house or be prepared to rent to get what you want.
