Fascinating but very grim story of Mr Al Sane, what an awful end. I wonder if is killers came from Kuwait did their dirty deed and flew back again because there was no evidence whatsoever about who might have killed him. Thank you for another very well narrated story.

We wondered if it was a hit job, and as you say, once he was murdered, the culprits fled the UK and back to possibly Kuwait? Off camera, we both came up with tons of questions and theories.

Yes, looks like he was killed over money.
@DaysofHorror
@DaysofHorror 7 дней назад
I agree. Money does seem an obvious motive, with him being very wealthy and more than likely having links to some, let's say 'dodgy' characters! I wonder if he owed a lot of money or maybe he had some information on someone or some people which would have uncovered something dodgy?

I'm glad you enjoyed it ☺️ It's a sick world we live in, and it still baffles me that a human being can inflict so much pain and torture onto another human and I always wonder if these people carry on with their lives like nothing has happened? The killer or killers, do they just carry on with their daily routines and never give a second thought to what they did?

@@DaysofHorror yes same here. One of the reasons why I've always been fascinated by these stories. What makes certain people step over the line? It's unimaginable.

Great work Chris and Vickie.. Something about this case just doesnt add up. A brutal murder like this would be plastered everywhere, and a nationwide hunt put in place. Seems like what investigation did take place, had taken place quietly. I agree that it must have had something to do with money. Criminals dont go to these lengths on a whim do they. Touching on what you said about history, and people of today being oblivious to what may have taken place where they are now standing. The same thing fascinates me Chris, and like you, i cant explain why. I'm not sure if it's a sense of time being transient, but the past remaining... which in itself is a contradiction. Its a little like detecting an ancient find... knowing it was lost by someone several hundreds of years ago... and nobody knew it was there, until you discover it and hold it. Knowing the last time it was held was probably by the person who lost it. Suddenly the past is dragged into the present. Its all very fascinating. Great work as always mate 👍

But if it was Sharia law, coming from Kuwait, it would have been a just punishment to them. Nothing too extreme for them. Sadly.

I have recently found a lump of clay which is highly likely to be roman, it will be checked by museum curator this week,and its covered in fingerprints! I have other treasures but that's the best so far for the same reasons you just stated.And yes it's the same reasons I love these stories.

If it was some sort of “execution” perhaps the head was taken as proof of death to some other important “businessman”!

I’m from Manchester and I worked in the centre of Manchester at the time and remember this murder very well for some strange reason and they found the body under the square bridge and I’m sure his body was found in a oil barrel were it was found smouldering
@DaysofHorror
@DaysofHorror 7 дней назад
In an oil barrel? That makes it all the more disturbing (if that's even possible!). Thanks for mentioning it, though, as information is a little limited. All the old newspaper articles repeat the same thing, so this was a more difficult one to cover.

Definitely money related,but the silence around it may mean a political silence, maybe he had powerful exfriends in Kuwait or in banking etc. The criminal knew about his financial details,stocks,etc. So that's someone he trusted,but to be tortured,not trusted enough to know a location etc.of where his files were,so he was tortured for details,but was he kept alive until the murderer had what they wanted? And was there more than one culprit because the body wouldn't have been easy to move. Interesting one guys, thank you❤

Thanks for another great video Chris & Vickie I’m like you I do enjoy walking around locations knowing that there may have or was a connection with the dark past Is it just morbid fascination or a genuine curiosity for history & social history As for the murder covered. So many unanswered questions He was a businessman so money was more than likely involved Usually when bodies are dismembered it’s to hide the victims identity Outside influences so whoever the murderers where could have left the country almost immediately leaving the crime unsolved

Very interesting. I think he gambled away all his money, borrowed more believing he would win it back like all gamblers and then couldn't pay the person he borrowed off so was made an example of.

It does make you wonder who path he crossed and why he was brutally murdered. I believe it was money related, possibly drugs. But it also amazes me that in this day and age, it's still unsolved.

Great work guys I am one of those morbid people that love to visit grave yards and see a stone i one found one where a hole family died in one week discovered it was dew to TB sad I don't find us people as budding vampires or anything else like that but as people who care we want the world to learn the lessons that to murder for earthly gain poisoning your rich aunt for early inheritance or kill a man to steal a horse or get revenge is not worth it in my experience if someone do you wrong they will eventually destroy themselves with out your help easy gains easily lost with all the big tombs of the very rich we seen and in a very short period of time how fast they become neglected and fall apart and no one to look side ways at them As here in the west of Ireland we take a body home have a wake have mass at church and burial with in 3 to 5 days as one English undertaker said to me when describing our traditions paddy you don't let a dead man stay warm in his bed for long No if no one looks into it or cares what have we got all those dead people were once babies in some mothers arms they were loved they had babies themselves and loved they worked hard to feed and clothe the ones they loved fought and died for us all built our churches museums bridges roads schools our house took care of our past relations in hospitals some of those young people murdered could have become great but never got the chance or maybe we can sit down with the ones we love ❤️ for a cuppa and a chin wage and watch one another grow but others never got that chance easy to say stop talking that morbid stuff you get me down I don't like that tell that to the people that suffered due to violent loss it feels we are putting our arm around the parents of victims of violence saying we cannot change things but we can for the feature that no one else will go through what you are going through As a catholic we were always told it is good to remember our dead and pray for them and not be selfish I am all right jack how are you attitude God Bless

I am sure there were an awful lot of investigations out of the public eye by MI6 and Scotland Yard. The investigators would be very tricky situation involving the relationship between UK and Kuwait. It could have involved the transfer of criminals between countries. I dont know if UK has an extradition treaty with Kuwait. The case might have been high profile enough to involve very important high officials and in that case it would have been very sensitively handled. The missing files could have been used as a form of blackmail. I think we need inspector Clauseau to investigate this case. 😂 Living in a colonial country where my ancestors have lived for at least 400 years is at times especially now challenging. The indigenous people regard you as a foreigner even though you have been born and raised in the country and are by default a native citizen of the country. This unfair narrative brings about an identity crisis. Who am I really? why is my culture different to and spurned by the indigenous people? Because I am a history nut I have taken the opportunity which internet media has afforded me to not only trace my family tree but to investigate the historical events which affected their lives and the culture they lived in. In doing so I have learned some surprising thing's which definitely clear up the matter of my families identity and culture. I heard on a video just yesterday that the home where you were born in and were raised up in will haunt you for your whole life. Indeed they were right. Often in my minds eye I will go for a walk in the neighbourhood and through the rooms of the houses and a walk in the garden and even memory of my pets. I think we long for the uncomplicated innocent days of our childhood which we enjoyed before tackling the responsibility which we shoulder as adults. A time where fantasy and reality merge into one. Not a care in the world. Of course I was privileged enough to have a stable well structured family background. To understand the multiple layers of history in just one area of a country is fascinating. Just think how a pretty chocolate box village can turn into an ugly factory waste land along with its overcrowded tenement districts for the workers. Then the same area gets gutted and replaced with parks and playgrounds. What next, who knows? To me this is more interesting, intriguing and exciting than a block buster movie. Thanks for yet another interesting video.
