I mean in this instance when there's literally nobody talking to journalists about the deal because of NDAs etc, it's all speculation? Goldbridge is the same, knows nothing but just makes 10 minute videos essentially asking questions so
@@Kourosh.Keshmiri we watched like you to see what the answer would be., You have to watch untiol end to see if there were answer Mr. Smartypants. Do you have any answers?
It’s a very strange setup from the off because it’s reported that it’s an equal split between the shareholders & Glazers with this 25%. Glazers are here to stay until the club is bust
@@gauravhumpal stop mate do you actually think SJR is gonna pump billions of pound of his own companys money to be in the background forever, he didnt become a billionaire by throwing his money around willy nilly, there will be accountability now through the books... the club also is nowhere near bust, last year it recorded revenue profits of over 700 million us dollars which was an increase on the previous 2 seasons.. SJR coming in is a good thing
We need to concentrate on getting rid of the Glazers. Why continue with the viscous cycles. The club doesn't need more gambling about its future, it has suffered enough!!
The bid from Qatar wasn't 6.5 billion. It was around 4, with another billion as payment of the debt, and the last 1.6 earmarked into the stadium and infrastructure.
@@Svigga well actually the club can always take on more debt, it's whether they can pay it back in installments but nevertheless leveraged buyouts are illegal so sky sports need to fact check this
@@TheRooneySingh i thought it was illegal to put it just on the club and that putting it on another entety was possible. its shitty regardless thoug :P
100 percent sale would've been ideal but I wouldn't get too disheartened. At least something has happened that is actually positive news considering it wasn't long ago that I thought the Glazers would never even consider giving up 10 percent of the club. Things should improve marginally and who knows where it'll take us. Its hard to be positive though, I understand.
Manchester United have spent more than any club in the past 10 years, how is that not being able to pay, they overpaid all premiere league clubs. And by the eand he admitted that Manchester United do not need investors. Plus Karve answered by asking the same questions.
That’s alot of money ? Can you name 8 genuinely world class players in their prime they currently have at the club with all that money they let Footballing geniuses they have in charge of transfers spend ? 😜
@@loughboyontop876 you're mixing between 2 separate things here, spending money and effective recruitment. Spending money, Manchester United, my club has spent a net average of 120 million pounds per season since sir alex left, more than other club in the premier league. In contrast this money was spent poorly, this is why we don't have word class players, we thought we bought word class players when we signed Maguire, sancho, antony, pogba, Lukaku, and even Fernandes, they are either flops, average or just good players, at best. And this is the main issue we paid world class money for seemingly world class players who turned out to be flops because of bad recruitment and/or recruitments for the wrong managers (buying players suited for one manager then sacking him and this player ends up not suiting the next manager) I hope I was able to clarify.
Really thought this was gonna be your time to shine, Kaveh. After it seems like years of covering this topic you still just bringing us the latest twitter news.
1.3 billion for 25% is 5.2 billion, keeping the debt but Qatar offered 6B, clearing the debt, investing in everything Manchester immediately and we still acting like is some good thing, common sense ain't so common anymore
the reason glazers didnt take the qatar money is because they dont want their reputation to go to 0 after qatar turn our club into a huge success. instead its better for them to go with sir jim and stay and the glazers can stay and take more money out the club for a bit longer
FFS. they could have interviewed me and there would be more information and I am not a member of the 'stating the bleeding obvious party'. Sky sports nonsense....
This guy is clueless. He say all the other clubs can pay wages for best players but not United and then goes on to say United generates one of the highest revenues 😂😂
They can't due to ffp, debts and owners not investing their own money into the club. When owners invest their own money into the club, it helps with the ffp limit.
I remember they paid Pogba for years top wages and he was always injured, unless he played for his national team. At one point Harry McGuire was top paid player as well. They sure know how to waste the money.
What a mess, to think Utd had a once in a lifetime offer to clear the debts, rejuvenate the stadium & surrounding infrastructure & buy players. I can't believe they've refused that offer.
Kaveh’s wife: “Hi Honey, what time will you be home?” Kaveh: “Well that is the key question that is going to be asked and it’s a very important question indeed. Will I be home for dinner? Or will I, in fact, be several hours late? It’s possible that I could be there but, then again, is there a chance that I’ll be working late into the evening? As my wife, you’ll be hoping for the former but I’m sure the latter would not go down well if it were to be true.
@@jamesfretwell1511 change what tunne? I never wanted Qatar. I wanted ratcliffe to fully takeover but the Glazers don't want to sell. It's doesn't really matter about Jassim anymore does it?
Shambles of a club. Had a man willing to spend big, pay off the dept, invest in the infrastructure but the glazers choice is Jim. Well hope all goes well.
Actually said they can’t afford to pay the players wages like the other clubs when they pay their players more than anyone else hence why none of them can be sold. United PR is strong.
At least he did everything he could to get a foot in the door, if Jassim wanted it so much why not put his money where his mouth is or work out a deal that works for the people selling the club rather than just spending money on PR for the fans
@@mattconnor1988 are you reading what you are writing? he already bid for way more than what the club is worth, was willing to clear the debt, rebuild the whole infra, all that would cost him upwards of 10 bil atleast, endless money doesnt mean he is an idiot, I remember back when the third bidder openly said that the glazers are not planning to sell and all this is tactic to get investors in and people laughed at him, look who was right all along
Old Trafford is 110+ plus years old , the roof leaks ffs 🤣It will take over 6 years to build a new stadium or 10 to rebuild old Trafford, they need to act fast tbh
7 secs in you realise Karveh is supposidly going to answer 'key questions'..... You pause the vid, open the chat and laugh your tits off at that prospect with the rest of Sky Sports viewers 😂🤣 😂
Doesn't make sense at all. Sir Jim was just there as a distraction for sheikh Jassim or been there a block for jassim for the glazers not to run of options for buyers.
I would say that Kaveh Solhekol is one of the worst "experts" I've ever seen. He doesn't ever seem to know anything. I prefer Romano for my football news.
Considering he’s suppose to be an expert he’ll know loading debt onto the club in a leveraged buy out is now illegal in the prem, so the debt will be loaded onto ineos
The sky man utd love in alive and well. Keep doing utds work Sky, they need it. Utd have spent and spent on players over the years, more than anyone else, but with that they are no longer successfull because managers and players arent good enough. Now the transfer trough has run dry and its tears.
How you say united can't afford the wages of city/liverpool etc? Does sky news even know what its ever on about? United players half the united team are probably earning more than both them teams. United poor recruitment and absolute inflated wages is what's led to it becoming a laughing stock and not being able to get players unless they pay ridiculous, nothing to do with them not being able to afford wages.
Isnt he right tho. If you are selling the club for that much, the stakeholders would get more money that they can ever get. I dont see anyone paying THAT much for Man utd in the near future. So wont it be logical for the stakeholders to vote SJR out. Correct me if im wrong
Manchester United is the love of my life but I think all of our fans need to boycott games and merchandise. I can't keep going on day in day out with this farce. Its depressing asf
I agree 100 💯 percent. I am saying the same thing. I just don't understand what is holding the fan base back from doing so. I wish we could do something under MUST to get things going in that direction. Just two matches of empty seats will send a big message
They’ve had 18 years and we’ve not won a Premiership title so how much time do the Glazier’s need, apart from taking dividends and keeping the club in debt.
"Did you stab your wife?" "That's a damn good question, officer. Whenever there's a dead wife, and a husband holding a Rambo knife, the first question you need to ask is, are these two things related?"
I just wonder why would these business men will reveal all these details in public, they are running a business and not a government. They will see us fans as their customers. As a fan myself wouldn’t appreciate the fact that club will see me as just a ‘customer’ because I am far too emotionally connected but these guys see this as business and they will see me as a customer and do that gimmick of satisfying my feeling temporarily, like the Glazers brought CR7, Pogba etc and made a marketing campaign. We just have to realize our beloved club is just dying.
Kaveh is clueless. we outbid liverpool and bought mount. we bought the most expensive goalie last summer and also bought one of the most expensive strikers given his age. He can be such a tool. Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool wage structures are lower than United so to say United can't afford to pay top wages is Bs statement. City and United have the highest wage structure in the PL and one of the highest in world football. United can't splash 500 mill in a window as neither can City, liverpool, chelsea or any team for that matter unless you generate inflow through player sales and how you amortize the incoming player cost as there are FFP restrictions tied to your topline and how much you can spend in football operations. So much disinformation its unbelievable how these guys have jobs.
How does Kaveh know what eth knows. Since day 1 eth has given the media nothing but "I have a good relationship with the owners". So what's Kaveh on about
Investment to pay wages for top players?! Hang on, that's nonsense. We literally pay the biggest wages way more than those teams mentioned. Seriously do homework before talking..
