Am I the only one who thought LVG said jews instead of youth?

Lol people saying that LvG was too harsh on Welbeck. Danny was brought up since he was a boy by Manchester United, he was developed by the club and also made a millionaire by the club, but when it comes down to it, van Gaal couldn't justify keeping him when Falcao came in AND because there are young players (James Wilson in particular) who are knocking on the first team door and have serious potential. Welbeck was never going to force his way past RVP or Rooney into that team. He would only get opportunities when injuries arise and coming off the bench, and with the arrival of Falcao and with young lads like Wilson showing such enormous potential, Welbeck was simply stuck in a rut at Manchester United, it would appear he wanted to leave. Same goes for Javier Hernandez. That said, I like Danny Welbeck as a player a lot. His finishing can be off when he is the leading man and that was frustrating as hell, but he adds more to the game than he gets credit for, he chases everything down, he can win the ball from the defense, he can win free kicks etc. And I think he will score more at Arsenal because Arsenal tend to create a LOT of opportunities per game so I think he'll be successful there. At United though, he wasn't going to get into the team unless there were injuries. Another note is that with United's considerably shorter fixture list this season, Danny would have even less chance of game time. United have only the Premier League and the FA Cup to play for, and to get back into Europe, van Gaal needed to use United's resources as well as he could, which is why so much was spent on Angel Di Maria and so much wages were allocated to Falcao, he has gotten himself the man who had the most assist of the top 5 leagues last season and a striker who just needs chances and he'll score a lot. He needs GOALS! Sure, there are question marks about the defense in LvG's system, no doubt about that. United are likely to concede goals, but if they can't score enough in the first place (which, they cant right now) then they definitely can't get 3 points out of games. Fergie too always brought in goalscorers even when we needed midfielders or defenders.... his first priority was ALWAYS goals! Welbeck wasn't going to bring them for him right now. Maybe Danny will flourish under Arsenal though... and I genuinely hope he does even though it could cost United in the future!

I hope Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley do good at their new clubs. At the end of the day, they came through the ranks at United. Wish them well.

On Welbecks defence. He is not as old\experienced as Rooney or van p and I've heard that he has the fourth best goals to min ratio in the prem.

Louis van Gaal is right about Danny's ability, but he's too harsh. Danny has something to offer like speed or agility although it's not enough for United. Good luck for Danny tho.

That's so harsh on Welbeck. I mean like c'mon he's roughly 8-9 years younger. Of course he isn't as good as Rooney and van Persie.

This dude is such a eyesore for me, he sell Danny Welbeck a young black player who had from the age of 9 lived his live for Man U. Sure he didn't do too much for the club but when was he ever given the chance at such a great club. If you haven't noticed how many player of color play for unified since LVG takeover. Just take that in.
