Tbh Bruno’s runs were better than most of the CF’s in the world currently and United have Cavani and Greenwood as proper strikers. Even if they are out of form there’s martial. So stop with the they need CF agenda cz they have enough and more in that position. Just need a CDM to be a elite team. They ARE challengers for the title now. But that one signing could push them to be one of the favorites for sure.
@@LieTown1996 true Maguire is not good enough to play at the highest level. Then how tf he was playing in wc semi and euro final with england. Go play sunday league football u fool.
@@CalDan10 making it to finals doesn't excuse not winning it. You do realize england didnt get to face france, portugal, belgium... so giving him a credit for having an easy bracket is the most jonk mindset ever, go brush your teeth with your mates tongue
Greenwood is a different type of striker than what we NEED rn and thats the role cavani fills. Cavani is physical and holds the ball like a master while Greenwood is a dribbler with a killer left foot. There are matches that Greenwood will be hardpressed to do anything where a physical striker is need. Thats where a striker like Kane or Haaland would be a great asset. I still think selling Lukaku was a mistake as he would easily fill that spot without us spending a dime
@@samuelwhitcombe9744 I don't think you watch the game then 🤣 Mason was switching out to the left so pogba could go into midfield and Bruno through the middle. Yes he started through the middle but there was a rotation throughout the game.
Pogba's been making these types of passes since he came to United, the problem is Rashford, Lukaku, Martial, Lingard etc weren't finishing the chances created. Pogba should have double the career assists his got but poor finishing has cost both his stats and reputation of not being consistent, its a myth.
@@ntokozontombela6968 try reading what I wrote instead of getting in your feelings about whether Pogba puts in a shift or not...Pogba's been putting players through on goal countless times just like he did for France at the Euros. But when the likes of Mbappe or any United player miss the chance, the PASS is forgotten about, if you can't see that when watching United you're clearly not paying enough attention and must only watch highlights of the goals on RU-vid.
Four assists for Paul Pogba, three goals for Bruno Fernandes. This is very awesome start to the season for Manchester United in front of a packed house at Old Trafford. Varane presented to the fans. Pure awesome 👌
If Utd play like this week in and week out, the title is ours.Pogba's assists were brilliant.he should have scored himself in the first half but that doesn't really matters as long as we win, that is more important.
Someone not assisting doesn't necessarily mean the person isn't creating chances, maybe the chances have been created but they are not being converted!
Sancho,Pogba, Rashford, Martial, Bruno, Cavani, Greenwood All these guys are match winners, all are capable of creating something out of nothing. You don’t need a big CF to hoof the ball to when you have that much creativity
What about mc tominay? 😂 he gets alot of stick from fans. not as creative as the players you mentioned but I've seen him create something out of nothing so many times. Hopefully ole plays mcfred less this season and plays a mid 3 of mc tominay pogba and Bruno more
Cavani isalready a tall CF that can lay it off, bulldoze it in or run in behind. Greenwood has increased his physical presence. Centre forward is not even close to becoming a problem at United, they are dangerous this season. They just need that trophy and getting over the line mentality.
@@mart4414 Aiye it all sounds good like that but if cavani breaks something and Greenwood or sancho get injured we are back to square one more or less yea we got martial but do we really wanna trust that martial will be banging them in this season. Another option in that area wouldn't be bad it's not like ole couldn't switch things up and play Greenwood on the wing or play a front 2 many more ways to line up your squad with an extra player in that position having to not worry about 1 getting injured and not having a back up.
@@HA-mz8kz Martial and Rashford have previous 20+ goal seasons alrernating in that position. It's not a problem. Solskjaer wants mobile forwards not a fixed point like a Lukaku. Greenwood needed to be trusted and given a pathway. Next summer when Cavani leaves will be the time to buy. United share the goals all across their front line. Don't forget that Bruno effectively performs like a second striker. Chelsea's top scorer last season was Jorginho. They've bought one good number 9 and got rid of Abraham, Giroud and Batsuayi. They will be heavily relying on Lukaku, what happens when he's injured and Werner can't finish a breakfast again? United are going to be fine this year, no team is perfect. City only have Jesus, Liverpool don't have 1 centre forward. United score goals under Solskjaer's style and don't underestimate the extra security Varane gives at the back up that lets forwards stay up more and the whole team risk more.
For a more objective comparison of the numbers of assists by Pogba across seasons..also provide your viewers with the number of Pogba's potential assists that were not scored by the forwards
@@Maax1200 tbh United forwards have been missing alot. Like alot. Pogba always puts them through. Rashford lingard martial lukaku..Watch the highlights
@@DevilishAngel I wouldnt mind all those "excuses" if all the players got the same treatment. They dont. There is groups within the community that give special treatment to, in perticular, Maguire, Shaw, Rashford,AWB, and Pogba always had the "world class player" attached to his name. The rest gets abuse on a daly basis, and im fed up with it. The mentioned players misstakes cost the whole team but is never mentioned without the "but" attached to it. Pogba loses the ball alot and dont defend: Yes, but he is world class in Freanch team, Shaw missed his man: Yes, but he goes forward like world class, Maguire was nutmegged: Yes, but that was McTomminays fault for losing the ball in the opponents penalty box. AWB didnt mark the back post: Yes, but thats because he has to tuck in to protect Lindelof etc etc etc. I wish we had more players like Cavani, now that is a real world class player that never rode the popularity train and played like shit because of it.
i dont know what others think but if the players we have perform the roles they are given according to the talent they have..we should win this league..even if city and chelsea keep performing like last season.Consistency is the key
first vid i’ve watched and it’s already better then sky sports because it’s unbiased , he praised pogba and also admitted he criticises him because we all know the level he can play at, beautiful video👌🏽
Cavani's movement off the ball is second to none... He's been breaking defenders ankles for over a decade, he will make the difference in those tight games where we struggle to break down the defence.
You need options. Someone who is where the ball comes in front of goal from crosses. Not every defence is suited for the same type of attack. Cavani is that type of player, but he is getting older. Someone like Haaland would be the missing link
@@In_my_own_mind I get that 100% but the priority surely has to be a cdm. Mcfred pivot can only get us to a point. If they've got a bit of comon sense about them United rly should sort out this no.9 thing next summer once cavani leaves
'Pundits' have no idea what they're talking about. Liverpool don't have have a centre forward, City only have Jesus and United with Cavani and Greenwood are the ones in trouble? LOL What United lack are a natural holder and experience of getting over that line. They are a problem this year.
@@benfuller2890 McFred is good enough. We don't have that many ball winners in the squad, that is why you can't play a single CDM (except when the opponent is weak or scared to attack you.) The teams who play with single CDMs are more aggressive at ball-winning as a team (Leicester, City, Liverpool) that's why they can afford to do it. Even if we signed a CDM, he would still have to play with one of McT or Fred. Secondly, Pogba can only contribute this much when he is totally freed to attack, which also releases Bruno to be outstanding. Playing 1 DM means Pogba has to drop deep, which will reduce his assist rates. Only goals like the type he made for Greenwood would be possible then. Thirdly, the reason you think we don't need a striker is cos Bruno was exceptionally lethal in this match. His 3 goals were not easy to score. If he had missed 1 or 2 of those goals, this game could have ended a draw. I hope he scores a hattrick every game, but the truth is, he will not always be able to do it. The assist is only guaranteed if the guy in the box is guaranteed to bury it. Getting a player like Haaland is more important than a CDM, unless you are able to buy both at the same time.
Leeds under Bielsa are one of the hardest sides to play against and we took them apart while missing 3 of our first team players ( Cavani, Sancho/Rashford & Varane ). They took a lot of points the top 6 teams last season.
@@ssmmav10 they get stupid when they play us though 😂 both games at old Trafford they've come here thinking they can out play us, and they just get torn apart... And with Bruno and Pogba playing like that it could have been more than 5-1
Greenwood could have at least 2 assists as well if James and Pogba scored their chances. And if he continues to get minutes as a striker, there will be no talks of Man Utd needing a number 9.
@@tracer073 Greenwood is baller dude, he's going to be a world class striker. Ole trained haaland but he always says he's never seen anyone as good at finishing as Mason.
Tim Sherwood he makes sense in certain points but why would you want sancho to drop in a number 10 role and play with his back to Goal and saying we should of got grelish when we got bruno like this guy has decent knowledge of football but deffo would prefer a ian Wright or a Roy Kean (purely entertainment) I even like Roy Hodgson as a pundit analyzing games
@@metechsolutions You are right. He is like Glenn Hoddle. They don't watch Bundesliga but they still want to comment on player they are not familiar. They just like to talk
Why is it that some people think we need Kane? Why? What's the logic? Do you not see the space he operates in? It will overlap with Bruno's space. Do you want to see what city saw against spurs with Sterling and the new 100pound Gazza occupying the same spot. Honestly!! The guy managed teams. Can't see something even a fan can see.
We judge pogba harshly for his “inconsistency” and totally disregard the team he’s had around him. The general vibe is the team is good now so he should stay totally disregarding the wasted years at the club at his expense. Utterly disrespectful.
I would buy camavingha for 30 35 million because my preference Ndidi would cost 100 million. We don't need a 25 goal season a striker we have enough upfront and in midfield for goals to go around. Rashford, Cavani, Martial, Greenwood, Sancho, Bruno, . If they all score 15 season done
We need a good pivot point in the middle. If we are playing 433 i don't think McTominay is good enough yet. He can be given time. But for now we need one
A mobile holder would complete the squad but Sancho will stretch teams from the right and Varane will help push the team up the pitch. Van De Beek, Pogba, Fred, McTominay, Matic can all do solid job in the two man pivot. NO team is perfect. United have a very good record in big games under Ole and have a very easy run of fixtures up until those games come about in October. They could be leading comfortably by then. Top 4 will be tight but this United team are a problem this year.
@@mart4414 ya this is a solid team. And if pogba can keep firing like he did in the last game, we will be a real challenge. If we get someone to hold the middle, it'll give more freedom to pogba and co.
ATT: Shaw, Left Forward, Striker, Bruno, Right Forward. DEF: Fred, Maguire, McTominay, Varane, Wan Bissaka. It's a very balanced unit and United are going to be a problem with their squad depth, versatility and pace. Varane also adds experience. Chelsea are their closest challengers, City and Liverpool don't have killers upfront.
Cavani is our 9 for this season, we need a dm like Ndidi, Palhinha or Koopmeiners, next summer we can try and sign Haaland or that fiorentina striker ,Vlahovic I think?
Secret this season is defending well, goals from not just attackers, rotate the team well by January February. Donny Amad Dalot Matic Mata, Elanga Baily they all need serious game time
When Pogba plays for France he knows his role, he is given freedom on the ball to do his thing. At Man utd they keep on switching his position, one game they play him as deep midfielder next game he is on the wing. I can understand why he is hesitant to sign the contract he needs some stability and freedom especially now he is in his prime he needs to make these next few years count
Lol...the Grealish groupie! Everything comes back to Grealish when Sherwood is in the house. Funny thing is we probably would have gone for Jack next ssn if he was still at Villa. All the best to him though.
Don't blame them, they aren't knowledgeable and logical enough to recognise United as a real threat. They can't put their finger on what United lack apart from experience in getting over the line so the Kane and striker narrative is a safe talking point.
We need ndidi to replace fred, mctominay is really underrated the guy can do everything, carry the ball tackle heading run all day shoot pass, ndidi and scott playing behind bruno, pogba coming in from the left with sancho on the right
We don't need a centre forward. Last season we score more than any other team. Defence was the problem and lack of team rotation. Greenwood didn't realy score as many as he did season before same as Matial. If can get them at that level again this season then with Cavani three of them can score at least 40 goals in Premier league. Now we need goals from every one.
Let me tell you last two seasons the champions played with Jesus and Firmino as no. 9. And we have Cavani, Greenwood, Martial. Agendas are rising. Hated, Adored but never ignored #GGMU
Talking about low block teams, that the reason why we brought sancho. In england people don't still see how brilliant and dangerous how Sancho is one on one he is going to tear defenses apart. Sherwood Sancho is not a ten although he can play there
Good God Sherwood doesn't even have the maturity to atleast list Sancho's ridiculous stats since clearly he has no idea what the kid's BEEN doing at Dortmund and what he's capable of
More often than not, Pogba has been hampered by sub-par performers. The criticism has been unbalanced, much like the team. What good is having vision and skill when there's no one to pass the ball to?
.i would get bernardo silva from city over kane , on the right with cavani and greenwood, you could switch formations in an instant , imagine a 4-4-2 with silva pogba fernandes and sancho he would guarantee you the 6 liverpool points
Sherwood has always been plucking out of United. Big talk from a Blackburn captain with no access to how the mentality goes into a massive club with how to compete in all fronts.
He's our biggest player and marketing asset for Man Utd so imagine if Becks assisted four for Colie or Yorkie who would get more attention Becks or any of the strikers?
Michael Owen.. a liverpool legend who won his only premier league title with Manchester United.. So, I guess his opinion doesn't really matter, does it???
Sherwood always going on about Kane but that's not happening, he's defo going to city. If we can get Camavinga and then go all out to convince Haaland for next summer then I'll be very happy.
United don't need Kane and they don't need Tim Sherwood's stupid advice. If this guy is so good how come no club wants to hire him as manager again. Remember his time as Tottenham manager?
Kane is overrated. I will never chance my stance on that. He’s a good striker but he is no where near that amount of money he’s asking and not even on United greats level like Rooney etc. I’d prefer United buy a CDM
@@obitriceforlife5771 Finally somebody said it......Am hoping he goes to City where he won't be the center of focus...Let's see how many goals he scores. Same with Grealish I don't get the hype on both players. I ain't saying they are not good....Just the hype is wayyyyy overboard
IMO the only reason both players are looking that good is that they are the center of everything in their team. Put them in a team of other good players where they ain't the focus...Let's observe and see.
