@@cypher6209 You've forgotten one thing, all teams were playing without fans ! So the same thinking applies to ALL teams, no fans , no pressure ! Lets put it another way, no home fans = NO advantage ! If a team can't score a goal with 70,000 fans cheering them on, then wtf are they doing on the field ? It was always said throughout SAFs reign that having 70k fans cheering you on was like having a goal start even before the kick off, this is what the players said before any home game, so, without a crowd to cheer the team on that advantage is lost, in other words a level playing field !
I miss the attacking football we had then, we scored far more goals per game then than we do now, where are we now ? 7th in the PL with a MINUS 5 goal tally, unthinkable under Ole.
What is "the heat"? Honestly sounds like a good a excuse for somebody who generally masks their gas lighting behaviour in a workplace as "this is how we operate". Had experience in this matter? @@cypher6209
@@gigabyte2573 nowadays fans are too toxic, see how some treated Pogba in the stands? smaller teams definitely need the fans, but United has proved statistically that we're better off without them, hence the saying goes, less is more
on the match just 2 days ago against Everton, we have De Gea replaced by Onana, Fred by Mainoo, Greenwood by Garnacho (positionally Rashford at the RW) and Cavani by Martial
This was the good old days when Utd knew how to score goals, Ole was the best since SAF, yet idiots still say he was a PE teacher...... unbelievable 🤦♂
@@Jimbobiscuit Pretty obvious to most people with a brain, the results were much better than we have now, we actually knew how to score more than one goal in a game ! We knew how to finish in the top three each season, did well in European football, went 29 games unbeaten away from home, a record that still stands today, so yes, THE GOOD OLD DAYS !
@@Colin623 Absolutely, how strange that some peoples memories are so short, yet have the nerve to call themselves a fan 😂It just goes to show how ignorant some fans really are, they can't even recall the stats of their own club, some people call this type of fan 'plastic' because they can't be bothered to check the stats, if they did they wouldn't be so dim as to say things like that, Ole had the 3rd best win rate in Man Utd's 140 year history, I'm sure if James had done his homework he wouldn't be so dumb to say such things !
@@gigabyte2573 We also played some of the very worst football I've seen under Ole. "The good old days" happened way before Ole and to call Ole's tenure anything but average is laughably wrong. We finished 3rd in his full first season with just 66 points, the season previous we finished 6th... with 66 points. We were no better finishing 3rd, it was because everyone else was just as terrible as we were. His second season we finished 2nd with 74 points, LESS than ten Hag got in his first season. Yet you say Ole played great and ten Hag played terrible? Theres a reason so many fans call ten Hag's tactics "Ole ball" because it was sitting back, hitting on the break and hoping that some individual brilliance will save us. We were shocking under Ole and shocking now under ten Hag.
No they weren't. The "days" for Man U were when Sir Matt Busby and then Sir Alex Ferguson were in charge, as they were the only Man U managers to win the league since WW2.
Why do you present these videos with absolutely no understanding of editing? Every edit cuts off the commentary of the pundits involved in the broadcast on the day
Have you watched United under ETH? United aren’t getting stonewall pens in so many games because it’s “ok since United got away with a foul in that one game”.
