Yeah I don’t see people talking about Ronaldo this game. He really has matured his game and his impact is not quantifiable. Not even in terms of assists. He’s really involved in build up and the constantly fighting attitude to leave no doubt to all his teammates that he can’t leave with anything but a win.
Ronaldo played different today! He has played collective; when the collective is there, success happens! Ronaldo for once was good at these choices, making his teammates play! It gives a nice collective goal at the end of the match! Ronaldo begins to understand that the victory of the team must count more than its own stats! Congrats to United!
Although nearly managed a draw only, this is the best display of United for some months. Very positive movement and non-stop tacklings, controlled the game most of the time. Greenwood is still an issue, he cannot fit in that style.
Greenwood can fit into that style if he plays as the striker which he eventually will. He’ll be perfect for finishing of attacking moves, he’s lethal in the box as a striker.
I agree that Greenwood is selfish a lot of the time. But I see him playing centrally in the long term, and that selfishness will serve him well. That being said, it makes for pretty frustrating viewing at the moment

Was a great team performance, much better than West Ham for the majority of the game, just didn't make the right decisions in the final third til the end. Fantastic win 💪
@@delmanpronto9374 I hope so, I think Greenwood and Ronaldo have zero chemistry. Mason wants to score goals but he is not good enough at providing for others, Sancho better suited to that than him
@@mileshackett4781 The problem is this- Greenwood has played as a 9 his whole life. He smashed it in the Academy as a centre forward. We are hindering his development with him playing out wide. Right now he is struggling, and his decision making has been poor, but we need to utilise him where he is at his best, and that is through the middle.
@@stephenalex4345 agreed, but right now he's not going to start over Ronaldo and we need genuine wide forwards (Rashford and Sancho) to supply CR7. Mason just has to learn to do what Cavani did today, because he's hindering our attack with his decision-making atm
@@mileshackett4781 I completely agree mate. He looks so short of confidence Miles. Last season he looked so composed. When I see him now, he is shooting from everywhere and making poor decisions in the final third.
Pressing was everywhere today even it’s not “obvious”. That’s the subtle changes and playing smart with presses and not just pressing anywhere. The players are getting it but media is still shitting on Rangnick like they have no clue. Really good job today given how little time Rangnick Gad and the lazy squad he inherited to turn around.
I saw some bit of pressing today. But the first 30 minutes vs Crystal Palace, that was Ralf's football. That was Gegen pressing, it's the football most fans want to see.
@@JackieOsendo Ralph is smart ' he took the risk and moved to a 4 2 4..formation playing four strikers is a big risk ' but it paid off you can see all of them were involved in creating that goal...

@@Namdor2012 That camera angle makes it look offside, but it is not, nowhere near, not a single part of his body is offside if you take into account camera angles, its like the optical illusion of a photo finish on a horserace, Alex Bird made a fortune out of exploiting this optical illusion...CAVANI IS ONSIDE!!!!!!
West Ham didn't have 1 shot on goal did they? One deflection De Gea took care of and a glancing header wide from a corner. We didn't dominate the game, but we controlled it relatively well considering Maguire had just come back and McFred at times can be a horror show. Telles and Dalot did a great job shutting down the wide areas and those subs were key. Great platform to build off of.
McFred are playing better because it's clear they're not playing as a pivot but rather McT as a 6 and Fred as an 8. They both have dedicated roles and don't have to constantly look at each other to know who's doing what. What also helps is Bruno is playing as an 8 and is doing more defending so now we have 3 players defending and 2 in attack vs when we had 2 defending and 1 in attack. You'll also see Dalot and Telles sometimes picking up defensive midfield positions and then coming out wide and they do the same thing in attack. They're positional awareness and timing is great.
WE PLAYED WELL IN DEFENCE AND MIDFIELD. BUT WE LACKED CREATIVITY IN THE FINAL THIRD. RALF MADE THE SUBSTITUTIONS WHICH PAID OFF AS CAVANI, MARTIAL AND RASHFORD CAME ON. ALL 3 SUBS COMBINED FOR THE GOAL AS WE WON IT AT THE END. GREAT TO SEE RASHFORD SCORE AGAIN FOR US. MASSIVE WIN AS WE ARE IN THE TOP 4 FOR NOW. WE DID THE JOB AND GOT THE RESULT THAT WE NEEDED👏👍🔥❤️COME ON YOU RED DEVILS

Greenwood needs to be dropped. I haven’t seen another player so selfish as Greenwood 😓 Ronaldo is supposed to be the man to do the tap ins according to his haters, but today he was barely inside the box, he’s always on the sides, making the runs, pressing the rival. Anyway, I’m glad ManUnited scored last minute thanks to Cavani who crossed the ball. That’s what Greenwood didn’t do
You're so right! I don't think he needs to make Ronaldo look good or anything like that, but his play has been so selfish and individually focused. He just blasts the ball straight at defenders assuming he will score. Once Sancho is back in the team he should start a few games over him to get a run in. Elanga has even been much better than Greenwood
If that was Greenwood or Rashford on the ball instead of Martial when he makes that run into the box, they both shoot from the edge of the box instead of passing it to Cavani. Class by Martial. I hope he stays until the summer and gets that left wing position. He is one of our few forwards that runs at defenders with not only the intent to shoot, but to open up space for other runners. Great with his back to goal and can turn defenders. Smart. We need him to stay and produce.
@@michaelmelro6641 you don’t know that, I read some of the things you guys post on here and I wonder if this is your first year watching united, Rashford has made that pass 100 times before don’t see why he wouldn’t now!
@@blacksling9 So you didn't see the first run of the game Rashford made when he came on? Into the box on the same side as Martial was and then he tried to nutmeg a defender and run past two guys losing the ball. Yes, I've been watching United for almost 2 decades now. I remember Rashford's first week with the team where he scored like 3 goals. 1 in the Europa, 2 against Arsenal. Rashford almost always looks for his shots and Greenwood only crosses when his shot is cut off by a defender. He doesn't play in a style where he opens up space to cross. He waits for his fullback to make an overlapping run and then he tucks in on his left and shoots 99 percent of the time. Rashford is similar these days. When Rashford played consistently with Martial two or three years ago they developed an almost telepathic rhythm with eachother where they would make those passes. But it was mostly down to the intelligence of Martial in those moments. I love Rashford as a player, he is just frustrating to watch at times. Stil wondering?
Please let Greenwood seat on the bench for some time so he can learn more, he is a great player who need to learn team play just like Bruno, Cavani & other experienced players.

Our fergie time is back........Viva rashford.......glory glory glory MANCHESTER UNITED..........RONALDO.....CAVANI....RASHFORD...........SCOREDDDDDD....
great result today. but this 4th spot is very temporary. Spurs have 3 games in hand and arsenal have two. If chelsea wins tomorrow against spurs, even then they have two more games to catch up to ManU. and arsenal too. They might as well come back down to the 6th spot, if arsenal and spurs do well in their spare games. The best strategy for ManU to get a hold onto the 4th spot is to keep winning.
Thank god it was Cavani to square the ball to Rashford.. none of Ronaldo, Rashford, Greenwood would have squared the ball.. I would have trusted only Sancho, Cavani or Martial to do so..
@@uzairmobin9728 Ofc he was involved.. but the last pass.. where an ambitious player like Ronaldo would 100% gone for a shot on goal instead of squaring the ball to Rashford.. not criticizing Ronaldo..but it's in his nature to go for the goal in that situation
Agree he’s a problem but he’s not the main problem and not the first man that need to be replaced, also today ain’t the right time to go at him when he played ite and done nothing wrong today
The truth is, for a moment I thought I was seeing Cristiano from years ago when he joined Manchester United, he left his forward position to go to midfield, he tried to create play as many times as he could because they don't always pass the ball to him, I was very disappointed that Greenwood keep working individually as it is possible that Cristiano, who is 36, runs and presses more than him and Rashford didn't do much apart from the goal, which was important, yes, but he doesn't press even his area. I would like to see Cristiano again as a midfielder. In addition, Ralf changed the system and the players and that was beneficial because those who entered are more likely to play collectively. I would like to see a game without Greenwood to see how the team performs.

@@skreapy21 That's really worrying. The team played irregularly. Cristiano played as a midfielder. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's not his position and if he does it means the team isn't playing well. What would be the need for a striker to be in the midfield creating chances, having won gives us an appearance that we have improved but if you analyze it, there is still a long way to go, I saw Cristiano throughout the midfield, pressing and defending, unlike Greenwood who is younger, no he presses his area, Rashford being honest has merit for the goal but he didn't do anything else or press and lost the ball I don't understand how people praise him so much it was like seeing Greenwood. Ralf can't play with four strikers because when you play against teams like Liverpool, Chelsea or Manchester City they won't be able to win because there isn't a midfielder who can create play and those teams will take advantage of that deficiency, Ronaldo is no longer a midfielder and not always it can go down, I don't know what's wrong with the coach and to be honest west ham didn't play well but they still performed regularly.

Ecstatic for Rashy he was due some good luck. Sick and tired of Owen hitting on the team constantly. He should remember who signed him up when the poo were through with him.
Greenwood needs to be dropped till he learns how to pass and learns respect, Fred should never play or shoot and so depressing seeing Maguire back! A shitshow!

Who cares Man United controlled the game 90% of the time. WH couldn't get into the box 😂😂😂 the bottom teams played better than them against MU recently. Well deserved win for GGMU. Hopefully more to come 🙏
OMG, everyone calm down, take Ronaldo out of the equation because he was world class by the time he got to Juve, Varane was already a great player, who else in the squad has improved since they joined United, De Gea perhaps? The club are really beefing this team up on social media but for the first time in decades i can't think of one outfield player i could call a legend that gives a solid 100% performance every game.
ronaldo did what the manager speaks of, pick up the ball of the first challenge, very important to build up to the goal, equally martial cavani rash, very focused.
Michael Owens comments on Ralf are bang average just as a pundit he claims to be… someone should remind him that United created 15 chances against West Ham… the only thing genuinely missing in the game were the decisions in the final third… something Ralf pointed out himself
Moga raspod tau cara bermain bagus berkat ronaldo yg memberi bola keteman nya dan kapani yg memberi umpan ke raspod ini la yg kami tunggu bermain selalu berkontribusi sesama teman
An greatest team of 5 biggest players (Rolnaldo, Cavini, Rasford, Martial and Brunos Fernando) win the rest of game season...good luck Ragnick and MU! MU plays like Real Madrid with Ronaldo!
Manchester United should henceforth avoid dropping unnecessary points again till season end. The table is tight and top 4 is gonna be a thug of war this season. Consistency is important right now
Maguire is benefiting on the home videos. Without Rice Westhan would be much worse off. First game I would say he would actually be a massive addition to team like Utd.
It’s disgusting the referee didn’t give us a penalty today! We always should deserve a penalty for the amount of attention we have brought to the premier league! So unfair!
What a embarrassing cringeworthy statement that was !!! You deserve a pen for the attention you bring to the prem ? The attention you bring is because you play boring absolute Sh*** tedious football and cant compete with the top teams, you need to get a grip as you'll be in the Europa Conference league next season because your simply not good enough and that's your reality. It's strange enough that the view from this videos doesn't show Ronaldo pass on to Anthony Martial, then Martial to Carvani, Carvani to Rashford. Creativity wise Rashford doesn't create as much has he should , same.with Greenwood. This really needs to be worked on the training ground.
Rashford deserves another look. Even if it means playing over CR7. Rashford was punished and didn’t play and now is scored, CR7 was punished by being subbed and still can’t score. CR7 is just as impactful as Martial would be.
