Manchester is a place I like the most that is why I made a VLOG on Manchester too. Hope you will like it too. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yPlcYudADj8.html
@ - I work in the city centre and before the world fell apart Manchester was full of tourist. Its the third most visited city in the UK after London and Edinburgh.
Alan Sanderson So is like all the major cities in the world, from a statistical standpoint and through the media, but is it REALLY that bad? When you visit a city are you SURELY going to get stabbed, shot, or become a victim of any crime? I’m from Cleveland and I hear it all the time about how there’s shootings on the east side, and that makes people afraid to come here. But I’ve lived here for 23 years and never been a victim of that. Yes, it happens. But “crime” is not a reason to not travel. The whole world, let alone major cities always have crime.
@@donbeck8835 Manchester and the UK in general is different it really is a dump its always grey and wet and the amount of trash and dog feces around is unbelievable its a very depressing grim place. All the parks are in poor condition just litter and dirty nappies there are junkies everywhere. Trust me Cleveland would be paradise compared to Manchester.
munterboy How do you even know? Have you even ever been to Cleveland? Do you have any idea how many people get shot in East Cleveland every single night? Do you have any idea how cold it gets in the winter here?
@@hush7359 It is great I love going to watch and when you first see a stadium full of 80,000 people singing in the perfect light, not joking it’s better than going to Disney land
This guide misses Manchester’s most important cultural Asset.....the Hallé Orchestra established by The German musician Karl Halle in 1858. One of the oldest and best UK orchestras in the World ! They play at Manchester’s fantastic Bridgewater Hall.
I moved to Manchester a year ago from small Estonian city Viljandi. Since my first day in Manchester, the city never stops to amaze me! It's definitely have some special and extraordinary spirit inside. I like it very much! Thank God this city survived during the war.
It is a very friendly city, it gives you a strong sense of belonging. Not the most beautiful city, in my opinion, but its people make it special! I regretted leaving it
@Henry Waiz yeah I get your point. I'm also from Greater Manchester but apart from our History and the Science and stuff I'm not proud to be Mancunian. Even the city centre, it is full of litter and Graffiti.
@Henry Waiz it's sad as well because some Homeless people are faking it to get money. Also, I don't get why Greater Manchester even exists. It should of just stayed as Lancashire and Cheshire
@@steveharrison7328 I think manchester is beautiful, at least the old parts. Even the canals, mills and bridges have better design than fancy new architecture.
When I was a kid here in the 60s and 70s it was a dump. But it really is a thriving and beautiful city. The return of the Trams, better city centre planning and new 21c buildings, all return it to its 19c heyday.
Why do you think Manchester is a dump? I keep wondering why everything to the British is a dump. Manchester is a great city, you do not know what you're talking about.
Kael Maturro Extreme913 I think it’s a dump because there is nothing to do. No beaches or any natural wonders ,winter is a good 9 months and it’s grey and wet that whole time, the streets are littered with trash and dog feaces. The houses are tiny and all joined together and the same colour. They are also built very poorly. Roads are full of pot holes. It really has to be the worst place I’ve been. And iv been to a lot of countries I really think the whole of the uk has nothing to offer. Your health care system is also in shambles. And extortionate insurance and fuel prices. Combined with low wages uk is a country where you live to work when you should be working to live.
Lived in good ol' Mcr from 2017-2019 as a postgrad UoM student. One of the best times in my life! Whitworth art gallery (and cafe) and park was my oasis in the middle of the city.
Not just about the economy its about the recognition around the World. People know London and Manchester. Manchester is probably the second City you would be say as a foreigner if you were asked to list Cities in England, after London. Few people from around the Globe would have ever heard of Leeds and its not considered one of the MAJOR cities of the Country like Manchester, Birmingham and London.
Jack D Manchester is more known because people often confuse Greater Manchester with Manchester City. We live in a nation of idiots that can't differentiate between a city and a metropolitan county. Manchester, overrated to say the least.

When I first moved to Manchester, I couldn't imagine living there for more than a year. However 2 years later, I never felt so sad for moving out the city. I miss the city and the people (not the crappy weather though lol)
great video crap soundtrack! Manchester is world famous for its music can we have some Smiths, New Order, Joy Division, Oasis or even some Take That, Bee Gees or Shayne Ward!
I got lucky when I went to Manchester in 2017 because there is actually a game the next day and I got to watch it: Manchester United V.S West Ham United, and the Red Devils kicked the ass out of West Ham. Even though it was not a Manchester Debry it is still good
I am pleased with the video which i was waiting since i knew about this channel. As a man utd fan , i will be planning to visit the city and watch Manu game at OT.
+Devendra Deshpande Since the flag of Manchester is red, the bricks are red,its in the county of the red rose and apart from city and perhaps one other team every team in or from Manchester plays in red so no Manchester never has nor ever will be blue.
I'm from the Philippines, wanna visit or live in Manchester I've never visited UK so that's why I want to go it was so beautiful!!! it is the most beautiful european city in the entire europe (on my opinion)
Don't go to Manchester you will waste your time and money. Its a dump, its dirty people are not friendly it's always wet and cold and grey sky. There are a lot better places in Europe but not the UK.
Manchester is such a cool city! If you'd like to learn more about Manchester, or if you are thinking of moving there you should check out some of the renter guides on our channel 😊- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zwGTQ9hUOWA.html
The background music is a constant reminder of Manchester's foundation built on its colonial industries that ravaged India's domestic textile industry by importing raw materials from forced indian labor and selling the goods so manufactured back in Indian markets where domestic firms were crippled by colonial exorbitant taxes.
I’m here because my city, San Francisco, was voted world’s best to live in for 2021. Runners up included Amsterdam, Manchester, and Copenhagen. Manchester is the only one I hadn’t spent time in. This video makes me want to come some day.
I do visit Manchester a lot because it's only a short journey from my city Liverpool. Manchester has some fine buildings and a better retail offer than Liverpool; but, overall, Liverpool offers so much more. Liverpool in my opinion is the nicer city with a more diverse offer; but, if you do visit the UK, it's definitely worth visiting both. Liverpool is the best city in England, apart from London.
A wonderful place with some fantastic victorian architecture! 2 things that I'd recommend aswell as these on the video are the Manchester transport museum in cheetham hill, and the heating park tramway. Both are great!
Fantastic to see a video about a truly great northern city - it really is worth visiting. Now you need to head off up into the Lake District, and hike around a mountain or two, only a couple of hours from Manchester too!
Holy shit I have lived in Manc for 2 years and been to these places but they never looked so good as in this video. Oh man, I wanna go live there again.
+Benjamin Norris I live in Brighton population is between 150,000 and 218,00 depending on where u class as Brighton. Head towards the Pavilion and the tourist information office is straight there
