SAD ISN'T IT? AS WOMEN, SOME OF US LACK CONFIDENCE. WHY WOULD WE BE NERVOUS TO PUT PAINT ON A ROCK? SHE DIDN'T JUST PICK UP PAINT AND DOTTING TOOLS AND CREATE THESE. Love your designs! Quick question - when you say that you should set the compass at 0.6 inches, is that the radius or the diameter? I've tried both ways but my lines tend to be farther out than yours!!!

Have you thought about doing a video that shows us how you pour your plaster? Yours always look so smooth and mine end up with lots of tiny holes from bubbles. I've been so careful not to create bubbles and get rid of them before pouring into the molds. Any advice? Thank you so much for the inspiration you give me. Also, are you in Portugal? I'm wondering because that's where my shipment is coming from. Thanks again!

I have been planning to make that video. It really depends of the plaster you have and ratio. What I do is after pouring the plaster in to the silicone mold… I place it a table and bash it so it vibrate the table and mold so all bubble’s go up.

They are amazing, paint is perfect, size if perfect… but I recently noticed that after a while the nib/tip does dry out and stop working. I recommend the following to make sure they last longer: 1. During the painting process make sure you keep cleaning the tip/nib with a clean napkin, this will help the paint keep flowing, if you do break make sure you put on the cap. 2. When finished, make sure it’s still flowing paint and fully clean the tip/nib, so there is hardly any paint and that the cap is well-placed. 3. Store horizontally, somewhere that is not too hot. 4. If not used for about a week, grab a sheet of paper, and draw some lines just to get the paint flowing, fully clean the tip/nib when finished. Hopefully this will make them last longer, I have contacted the company that makes them to see if they also have any suggestions, when I get a reply, I will let you know.

I love your art! Learning so much from your videos 😊🙏 I am curious as to where/how you lay down/store your different sized dotting tools during painting when you switch between sizes? I find I'm putting a lot of boring time on cleaning the tool, putting it down, picking up another tool to dot with, then cleaning that to pick up the first tool again and so on, for example when making a dot and then with another tool swooshing that dot out. Do you have any suggestions S how to make that process more flowy? 😊 Thanks again for a great channel, learning so much and enjoying watching your dotting, it's so meditative ✨🌈

Omg! Thank you so much. Some how I missed your comment. Well tools are always all over the place. But what I do is when I dot and change tool I clean it on a tshirt.. yes I have about 7 tshirts all painted. When I know I am going to use the tool again on next step I do clean it o my tshirt and then.. hold it with my mouth.. hahahhah 😉😍

I have not yet tried this art skill (still gathering my supplies), but you color combination and pattern grabbed my eye multiple times! This is much too complicated for me to try for a while, but as soon as I develop some skills, I can’t WAIT to try this gorgeous piece!

@@AmandalaRocks Amanda, did you take a class or two to learn the basics? I don’t know where to start. I practiced on some round, wooden discs I had laying around. My dots weren’t equally round and my spacing wasn’t even either. I don’t know how to do the arched pattern. Is there a class you recommend? Thanks, Marie

I actually started selling the zigs because I can get them in an local shop and amazon run out of stock. The shipping issue is not related to etsy platform but the crazy prices to ship anything from my home country.. Portugal.
