I love the fact that you reacted to this specific version of Coraline, I’m Italian and I remember very well that night, when I saw them on Sanremo’s stage (which for us is an historical very important musical event) I cried a lot watching them performing. At Sanremo artists are accompanied by an amazing orchestra and you can clearly feel how much poetry especially the stringed instruments add to this already poignant ballad ❤

I watched this performance as it went out and I cried. It was supposed to be based on the story of his girlfriend who was in the audience watching that night

Damiano has said this is a real person that he could not help, but she did not die, and she knows that the song is about her. The themes are mental health, child abuse, and perhaps suicide. He previously had dedicated this performance to his girlfriend.

Damiano ha delle qualità, sa cantare e soprattutto ha una forte presenza scenica, è giovane, sexy ecc.ecc. Ha scritto delle belle canzoni (in italiano), ha dimostrato che ci sa fare ma questi commenti abusati sui cantanti in genere (è un poeta, questa è una poesia) hanno bello che rotto le palle e sono anche commenti superficiali. Una canzone è una canzone, una poesia è un'altra cosa. Ungaretti è un poeta, Montale è un poeta, Pasolini è un poeta, David NO!!!! Forse l'unico cantante italiano che si è avvicinato alla poesia con i suoi testi, è Fabrizio De André. È una bella canzone, è un bel testo ma la poesia è un'altra cosa, altrimenti qua siamo tutti poeti mentre di poeti veri ne nasce uno ogni 50 anni. Fatela finita con questi commenti ridicoli.

Thx. It's a string orchestra, not synths. Måneskin conquered the World and came back to Italy as heroes. The lyrics are about self destruction and very emotional. Peace.

Great rock ballad , tremendous lyrics meaning everything. True story about a girl being abused by her father ,he rapes her becomes pregnant with his baby but couldn't take it anymore and takes her own life in the end. The castle in the song is the cemetery she was buried in and finally found peace. This guy's a freakin poet ! Wow ,deep deep meaning rock ballad ,wow man !

This was THE best performance of Coraline. This was at Sanremo 2022, when they came back as visiting champions. (they won Sanremo in 2021. Sanremo decides who Italy sends to Eurovision (which Måneskin won in 2021)). It was so emotional! And they are all so good together as a band. My favorite performance of this song.

This song (especially this performance) is so powerful it rarely doesn't make me cry, especially when Damiano almost cries and has to turn away from the mic. I doubt I can add any more insight, but this was an exceptional reaction. So many pay no attention to the lyrics or the point of the song. Watched a reaction the other day where she paused after the most instense part to comment on Damiano's earrings 🙄. Anyways, you've gained a fan/subscriber.

Love this band also love their songs that are in their native language, So Powerful. I started following your Warning reactions so glad you discovered Maneskin its another deep rabbit hole to get into...Coraline was inspired by a person they knew who lacked the courage to help herself and stand up for herself and It ended badly for her possibly suicide but the story I heard was vague so not sure

They said in an interview (I think it was the Zach Sang Show) that the person is alive and okay, and she knows about the song. But I think they made the lyrics purposely vague, to allow for a variety of interpretations.
