I probably wouldn't have come to this conclusion from words alone but the music video really does support your interpretation. It is a bit ambiguous with everything together but I like your interpretation :)

thank you. I'm sorry about your losses - that's what art can help us with - channel the emotions. When I write music - it's therapeutic. I'm not the one to talk about what bothers me that much but putting it into a song helps tremendously.

​@@rjakobej I hope not to sound opinionated, if I point out that you are certainly right, but some sentences did not leave much room for imagination, if I tell you that "I have to go", it means that: either I go to jail or I run away from something or I die, like : "There’s a few lines that I have wrote In case of death, that’s what I want That’s what I want", another clear revelation, "So don’t be sad when I’ll be gone", "Cause I don't evеn care about the time I’ve got left here".

@@simsi74 as I said - there aren't really right or wrong answers/opinions. I was at a disadvantage when making this video - I didn't know anything about the song or its background and I didn't have lot of time to think about it (I could have had more edits but I wanted to make it more authentic). Yes, the music video may go in a different direction from my interpretation but again - it's all relative. At the end of the day - any song will mean different things to different people. Happened to my songs as well. I had (a relatively clear) message and people though it was about something different. If you want to give it a go, my song IAKO BEI - A Way to Oppose (it's on my channel) is a good example of the misinterpretation of lyrics.

I made this video when the song came out. It was just my immediate reaction to it. It's easy to look at it now after so many reactions and interviews.

well, if you want a song that can become an enormous hit, you don't really have too many options. Good-quality and original music isn't really popular (but it's all very subjective of course)

Art is for us to interpret in the way that's relatable to us :-)

thanks - definitely good to know these things upfront. Otherwise you have only the words to interpret and than they may have a different meaning.

@@rjakobej true especially when you are listening through the translation. I have seen some great and some horrible translations of their songs.

I mean, it can be about both. Marlena is a muse but it doesn't change the fact that he wrote her like a romantic love. This song has this "letter in case of death" vibe, but (at least the chorus) was referencing his girlfriend, so it is romantic in a way.

I definitely will :) btw - if you like the variety and sonic and musical innovation, I think you will really dig my music - rock without guitars (instead there's drums, bass, saxophone, keyboards and singing) :) The first album (IAKO BEI - Pursuits in 1ife) is out everywhere and 2 songs out of the upcoming second album have been released so far :) Let me know your thoughts :)
