As an owner of a Brompton with a more narrow folding pedal-system, you may anyway also be able to use a "Vincita" padded pouch covering the pedals during transport? They are very expensive, but effective! Finn. Denmark
I’m newbie to this foldie can worry about handing it to mrt…your video boost my confidence to try…thanks! May I ask from escalator to train platforms best not to use and you would advise the lift instead right ? Also the gap into the train, we don’t have to lift up the bike ; saw your video just tilt up?
As of now we are always using lifts, because our 4 small wheels are too narrow and it will get stack in between gaps of the escalator plate. Try to avoid also the travelator unless you have a wider wheel. Dont forget to tie the wheel to the body of the bike using strap to secure so it won't unfold when lifting the 2 small front wheels. Just practice first at home how to move around and sure you will be okay. Practice makes perfect! Ride safe always!
@@albertmdomingo I have just bought an inexpensive Brompton Strap, with an embroidery, from A.E. In colors red and yellow, as my bike is a 2019 former Top, Flame painted M6LX! With a little extra work my 2019 bike (mudguards) will - hopefully reach 8 kilo, with a lot/near all possible, of extra titanium and carbon parts added to it? But still only a fraction of the price for a T-line. So why pay double for a T-line - with mudguards, and only 4 gears?
A.E. for now sells very inexpensive and made for the purpose, straps holding the wheels and with a nice finish. I also use larger wheels for the rolling, so it is mostly a Tank! Finn. Denmark
Just the back wheel to the frame is enough. It won't unfold anymore. Notice our straps on our video, one only and it didn't unfold. You need to strap 2 wheels if your hook is not working.
