I'm usually a pretty good baker and I ventured into trying this recipe. I had ripe mangoes on my kitchen countertop and it seemed like a good idea at first. While the measurements (in English units) were clear, the recipe falls apart when dealing with the quantity of mango which goes into making the cake. Instead of stating that a medium mango is required, it would have been preferable to state the exact quantity required. The cake I baked was high and well baked when it was in the oven, but it deflated like a soufflé when taken out of the oven. In the end, the cake was flat and not presentable to bring to a dinner party but good enough to eat at home. This is a personal taste, but I incorporated about a teaspoon full of cardamon and it was still very subtle.
