So refreshing to see someone say “I don’t need any of this!” Love these videos, Lydia! They’re so helpful for identifying a great option for something you might need, while reminding you that the best place to start is by looking in your own closet. Thank you!
So helpful! Not sponsored, not encouraging to buy more, not buying more yourself when not needed, just informative. The explanations, contextualization and pictures of you wearing them were very helpful. Well done!
I'm thrilled with this thoughtful and sustainable approach to showcasing current pieces from the Mango site that could come in handy when it comes to updating our wardrobe, and that match the basics you've shown and styled in previous videos. Once again, this is totally inspiring, thank you so much!
I can’t thank you enough for your inspiration! As I am a retired personal trainer and I live in a Southern California beach town, I won’t be wearing wool and silk on a daily basis but I have used your styling concepts and I have never looked so chic! It’s been easy to substitute lighter more casual fabrics and still get the elevated look😊
I'm in Hong Kong but still find tropical wool & silk blends useful (like a silk cotton or silk linen, to make it less wrinkly but still machine washable).
This type of video is so helpful. I love that you chose a particular store and selected timeless pieces with examples of how to style them. Not only is it inspirational, but also saves us time. Thanks!
I love how you did this video without purchasing anything, and I really appreciate your honesty saying you don’t really need anything! It is a bit tiring to be watching hauls with the state of the economy and planet. I love your approach
Once again Lydia you have excelled in showing style concepts that work for everyone, even me at 70 years! I have most of these items in your video and so you have given me inspiration to shop in my own wardrobe. More of these videos please. ❤
This is exactly what I was looking for. Please do a video like this every season. I've just started building my wardrobe so your videos have been so helpful. Can you do one for work wear as well?
Thank you Lydia, these types of videos help tremendously. You have help me elevate my wardrobe , I feel so much more confident. Looking forward to the next video. Keep it coming. ❤
I was about to go on Mango’s website, but then said, wait let me see what Lydia posted bc there might be something I’ll want. I love all your videos bc it really promotes looking in your own closet & all your pieces are timeless. You can turn such simple items so chic. Thank you so much for your content! I just stumbled across my stripped shirt yesterday and I’m excited she’s making a comeback soon. 😂❤
Thank you Lydia. Love this very helpful video. Thank you also for doing a high street video. I have unfollowed a lot of people recently who are now just gearing towards designer gear and expensive brands which not everyone can afford at the moment with prices skyrocketing so Thank you.
You've been so incredibly helpful. Can you please do a video of how to dress in warmer climates? Ever since I moved from Manhattan to Florida it's been a lot. It's always hot in here and it limits what we can wear. Please include a styling video for us folks. Greatly appreciate you!
Can you please do ZARA and anything from H&M. The ones from Your Line are beautiful but usually sold out or out of my price range. Thank you. Loved this video!
This video was so helpful! Love the cutaways with how you style similar items! Look forward to more videos like this in the future from other brands xx
I really like this approach Lydia and needing inspiration for when I periodically head into the office, plus the odd occasion I get out of shorts (its hot here in Oz) I really dont need to buy anything so it is lovely to see how to just update what I have.
Yes! Super useful, more of these please! We don’t have Mango in Portland, Oregon and don’t want to buy online without trying, but we’ll look at similar styles
This was such a great video! As an American I only discovered Mango a year or so ago when I stumbled on their amazing classic coats. I love them so much and your video was an amazing lesson in making key investment pieces! Also, as someone who has recently lost 50 pounds (2.5 stone I think lol) Mango also has a fantastic selection of size inclusive classic pieces.
I love your style. Very inspirational. Thank you so much. What if where I live doesn’t have Mango. What’s a shame when I want to follow your sharing 😢!
You've read my mind! I was just looking at a blue striped shirt, white silk / black silk blouses this past week. Trying to figure out if I wanted to invest in them. The blue striped shirt I tried on was Rag & Bone's blue striped shirt. They had two different styles and I loved both! Didn't purchase yet as I was figuring out how to wear it in versatile ways. Also, saw similar shirts like it with a much lower price point. Recently purchased a thin, black blazer from Aritzia, but it had a ruched sleeve and wondered if that was too trendy and will not be wearable later on. Also, it did not have any buttons on it. (Babaton's Power Hip Blazer in black). I want to invest in quality pieces that will stand the test of time, as I am also on a budget. The blazer trends are awesome, but as a petite woman, I cannot follow the oversized blazer trend and have to wear fitted. Any more tips on how to invest in good blazers such as the basic black and white blazers that will elevate your whole look? There are also so many styles to choose from with single breasted to double breasted blazers and different button styles. There is different fabrics of blazers too.
I bought some pieces online from Mango before Christmas in the sale but I ended up sending them all back either because of sizing or fabric quality. Denim sizing in particular was way too small. I’ve recently made another purchase and awaiting delivery of a satin skirt and tweed cropped jacket so 🤞🏻 they work out. It’s so difficult to buy online. The other online brand I constantly scroll through and placing items in my cart but haven’t purchased anything yet is Massimo Dutti. I’m kicking myself that I didn’t get the striped cropped cardigan. The Frankie Shop is another. I have bought a couple of items from Sanna NY and have my eye on a couple more pieces for Winter here in Australia. 🥰
I do a lot of shopping on Mango on line because its at a price point i can manage and also because they have plus sizes (im from 16 to a 20), so i enjoyed this video 😊. Love from México
I ordered a blazer from Mango. It said it would take up to 10 days for delivery. After 14 days and no return reply from customer service, I accepted that I was out $170.00. 17 days after I ordered it, it showed up on my porch. Absolutely love it!
The orders do take forever because they are dispatched from their warehouse in Spain. I did the same thing, ordered a blazer and waited, and waited, and waited until it eventually arrived. Sometimes parcels get stuck in customs. I knew that they were a Spanish company but I figured that they would have a warehouse in England. They don’t. 😮
Thank you Lydia!! This is very useful, because we gan go directly to the strore and try things out which are available now! I would love you to do more of these types of videos for Zara, H&M, Cos or Weekday:) Especially interested in finding oversized blazer for a decent price:>
