That’s not shredding at all and you definitely don’t surf lol. He was going the completely wrong direction on the wave instead of going left in the direction it was breaking. He didn’t catch one good wave. Or better yet this way - the waves were nice looking lefts, but he took everyone the wrong way except maybe the 7:15isb wave.

looks like some fun waves, until the closeout part. still fun though. I need to learn to catch waves earlier I think that's part of the reason I'm always wussing out: I've dealt with closeouts but I'm also catching the waves too late.
I started surfing in 2015 its taken a lot of beatings for me to still suck lol but maybe try a longboard you can catch the waves a lot earlier and get into the wave a lot easier as well
I love your channel so much! I surf Zuma mainly. Try going to tower 13 if u want to work on some lefts. It breaks nicely on a S-SW swell! Love the content keep it up!🤘🏄
@@nateswells no, it just looks like you don't like to go left! That wave at 5:00 was very clearly breaking left, you went right into the shoulder breaking towards you.
The longboard is fun it catches everything and I've caught some bombs on it..but you can't hangten on it. But i also have the 7'6 funboard and im still getting use to it. Ill report back after this weeks swell
