He is so immature. How could this work? He doesn’t work. He doesn’t know anything about the wedding. She will have to do everything forever. He said “ we don’t make enough money”. He doesn’t make any money. His family doesn’t show up to the meeting. His family is late for the wedding. He blames her for the rental fiasco. They need more time to grow up. Don’t expect much support from his family.

I agree with everything here but the rental fiasco. It was her fault unfortunately because she didn't sign the contract with the company so once a bigger order came and signed, they dropped them rightfully so. Lisa didn't secure it nor did she delegate Amando to do so at least. Also his fault for not stepping up at any point to at least ask for what he could do if not plan anything.

because they'll lose deposits that they have paid, people might have already arranged to come from out of town, invites have been sent out and they're expensive to re issue

I loved this episode. Now this was more of a realistic budget for a lot of people! lol The only negative is that they where super unorganized, but Jane proved that with a little organization and work it can get done. His parents/family though, ugh what a disappointment.

It’s a realistic budget but you have to have realistic expectations. A $5k wedding for 150 people now would be a ceremony at a park with everyone standing and a restaurant reception for maybe 50 people.

Why is this young lady marrying a man who does not have a job and his nor his family family is not involved in helping them with the wedding, however, he has high expectations for the wedding?. I wish she would wait. She must realize if she starts off carrying all of the responsibilities, she will be doing it throughout the entire marriage. However, I wish them well.

This was a proper SOS situation. The previous episode i watched used the wishes to colour the bride's hair and whiten her teeth. I didn't think the groom did too badly - he said the bride had kept him out of the planning, trying to do it all herself.

...my weddings budget was $4000 CA with only 3 months planning. I had the ceremony at church, a hall, decor, photographer and food for 120 people. I had rentals, professional cake, real florals and we made it work! You do what you need to do and do your research. It wasn't that we had no money, it was that we wanted to keep our priorities on our new home and not a single day of showing off. People still bring up our wedding 11 years later in good praise. Weddings don't have to cost much if one knows what they are doing.

armando is a child. useless and blaming everyone but himself. even their friends and his family were no help. lisa, her family, jane, and the crew were the only people really working. sometimes i think these unions would not come together without jane…maybe that would be for the best.
