Don't know if anybody will be interested in reading this, but I'll share anyway. Originally, I had an idea to make DBD X Manhunt crossover about two years ago. I did these models back then and put it in use just now. The idea was to make a short cinematic movie with a simple plot: Cash (Or Danny/Leo) encounters the Legion members and wipe them out and after their deaths they enter the entity's realm. But I figured it would be a huge waste of time and I wasn't experienced enough to make it (Even thought I already rendered some of the scenes from that short movie). So I did this small video instead. Edited for the smartasses out there to end the dumb disputes about Cash vs Oni, Knight, Nemesis, etc.: In this video Cash was empowered by entity and he is now powerfull enough to fight fucking Oni, Unknown, Knight, any of them and he'll win. That's it.
I gotta admit, it is a interesting twist for the killer to get taken down. Although it'd be a rude awakening when Cash faces something like Nemesis or Oni.
@@ThisisSigma200if I were them I would feel embarrassed admitting that lmao it's just a videogame unless they were forced to relive some sort of trauma like almost actually getting killed by someone.
Okay, all of that kinda fits. The concept of Cash executing the killers is literally what he was doing in the game, and all of this could be just a part of a snuff movie
@@jab2043 he could have executions, but they would need animations like with Ramirez, where killer knocks Cash out. Killer after that animation can have Hindered status effect for long time for example.
Cash is such an interesting character. All you know about him is that he was a terrible person and that he could commit atrocities without breaking a sweat but he is also humanized by the way he interacts with the few friendly NPCs you encounter. A great concept for a survivor
Some Wardogs spread rumors of him being ex-Special Forces, which could be just a small possibility of knowing where he got his skills from, but aside from that it's nice that it's up to the player to decide if he killed one or two people out of heated passion or if he was a remorseless serial killer before he got the death penalty, the onyl constant is that Cash is cold and knows his way around violence one way or another
I'd like to imagine this would be the trailer for a Manhunt chapter where the entity underestimates Cash and eventually swaps him into a killer instead of a survivor. The entity could also revive StarkWeather and give voicelines similarly to how the Clown laughs when stabbing survivors. Sadly I doubt this would ever be a chapter due to how intense and graphic Manhunt is.
Yea, but I think it could work as something like naughty bear skin for trapper. The ability for Ghostface supprisingly overlaps well to how Cash kills in the game, so having a "naughty bear" like skin with it's own mori, and StarkWeather commenting on what you do in the trial would be 🔥🔥🔥
Like starkweathers voice lines could depend on which survivor you MORI as cash like for Dwight he could be like “bout time you put down that 4 four eyed fuck”
"Survivor" concept: Cash the Man Hunter Unlike the other survivors around him Cash see the killers not as an unstoppable force but more people in his way in this sick game Starkweather has put him in. While the other hide and flee Cash ready himself for another blood bath against these freaks. *Cash finding a weapon* When Cash is select as a "survivor" weapons will now spawn randomly around the map with stronger weapons hiding inside of chests. When a non-Cash survivor find a weapon, they can bring it to Cash or use it as a one-time stun against the killer. *The Hunt* Once Cash gets a weapon the killer will be notified that Cash is now on the hunt forcing the killer to locate and kill cash before he can kill them. The Killer's power will be deactivated as well as all aura reading perks for both sides forcing both killer and Cash to be on even territory. Hunt will end if Cash is killed, or Killer is killed. *If Cash wins the hunt* If Cash win the hunt the trial will end in a win for the survivors with 2-time blood point score for all survivors. *If Killer wins the Hunt* If Killer wins by killing Cash the trial will return to normal with the killer getting a 4-time blood point score as well as being about to kill survivors.
Now This Is good but here are some questions.... Is It really necesary for Cash to use Stealth ? Also How would this work for the more Non human Supernatural killers ? Would a Specific Weapon to use against them spawn ? (For example Xenomorph a Futuristic Marine rifle, Nemesis A Plasma weapon, etc)
@@Spiral_IdeasXall of your questions is a yes, depending on the killers, specific weapons will be needed and for the stealth part yes it’s also nessecery cause that would be cash perks as a killer hunter, if there was more survivors like cash then they would have their own perks like Danny as a survivor would be the brains considering he was a scientist for the project and Leo as a killer with the abilities he will be given (like stealth and instant kill no revive)
oh my god this shit is so satisfying, I hate that no one can't beat the legion when they're just teenagers with knives, anyone experienced in hand to hand combat like ada wong, jill valentine, or leon kennedy couldn't beat them, but seeing james earl cash killing them in the most gruesome way possible (manhunt style) is really satisfying
Oh yeah I also hate the legion, horrible killer lore wise in the game, I'm experienced in hand to hand combat even disarming knives out of their hand, I can take out any one of them especially the girls, but that isnt possible since the legion dont exist in real life so this will have to do
I liked the original concept for legion when it was some guy with a split personality who can pose as a survivor that would have been better than what we got
Apparently, the lore reason for this is that the Entity is empowering the killers, giving them superhuman resilience, thus rendering any attempt at retaliation futile. TL:DR Spider-daddy passes them some under-the-table steroids.
@@soulbuddy1648 whos we? We already have several killers that are just funny to play and interact with shit as. Chucky, Naughty Bear, Weskin' Time Man, etc
@@soulbuddy1648 lemme, guess, youre one of those "dbd has fallen there's no fear or horror anymore" kinda mfs? Not all horror related stuff is pants shittingly terrifying and thats okay. Not every piece of iconic horror media is inherently scary, either. Nightmare on Elm Street is pretty damn funny, Child's Play is pretty damn funny, Scream is pretty damn funny, there's a lot of funny shit in old horror icon stuff. It can be funny AND scary, yknow. Starkweather cheering you on because hes a degenerate sadist gore fetishist would be kinda funny to hear as a narrator like you get with Naughty Bear, even if the tone and setting of Manhunt is dark and scary, Starkweather made me crack up a few times even as my heart was racing. There can be levity in terror, they dont have to be mutually exclusive.
what a blast from the past. i loved playing manhunt. its cool to see it revived in this form. this among many others would be a survivor the entity might regret adding into the game. haha.
The way he kills the one legion member with the neck snap is so nasty, the fact you didn't make it like the big spin neck snap you see a lot adds to the brutality of it.
The executions on each weapon were done better in comparison to both games. Honestly, Rockstar should hire this man for a new Manhunt game that actually shows how Cash makes his escape from Starkweather mansion. In my mind it would only make sense for police or extra Cerberus to be coming after Cash when the game ends and it gives fans a new way to stealth/kill through other areas of Carcer City.
@@FLOODEDxOUT I dunno, police would probably be heart set on damage control after the night was over considering the huge flood of bodies, the dead people, the exposure of the police chief, so on so forth. As for Cerberus...their client is fucking dead. They dont have a job to do with him anymore. They dont need to hunt down Cash as its no longer a job for them.
I do agree with everyone the fact that if a survivor could attack and possibly kill the the monster that they're running from sounds awesome. but obviously being killed by cash would just be like a penalty they would like respawn or something
Cash: pathetic, i thought you would send killers, not fucking kids with scissors. Entity: oh so you want a challenge? Well you asked for it * summons pyramid head, oni, nemesis, dredge, the unknown, michael myers* Cash: i may have fucked up here.
Manhunt is one of my personal favorite games of all time. It feels grounded in reality, and that's what makes it special. Cash is not some supernatural mosnter or some undying bloodthirsty demon. He's just a man. A man who is particularly good at murder. And to add the cherry on top, you even included the camera angles, voicelines & exit scenes just like it's from the game itself. (Albiet with much higher quality & better animation, despite the og having mocap.) 10/10, absolutely phenomenal. Maybe one day we'll see Cash in the entity's realm, whichever role he appears in. Thank you so much, you've made me a very happy unhinged autistic boy. (Also nice Breaking Bad reference at the end lmao.)
" It feels grounded in reality" The people behind Starkweather getting away with all the shit they did feels depressingly grounded tbh. The reporter getting gaslighted by the authorities is haunting af. I wish there was a new Manhunt game
I need this. I love this. Journalist girl would be a good survivor alternative! I'd honestly want to see his perks if he were actually in the game. Killing is overpowered lol, probs a 1-time use each gen, and killers revive after a few seconds.
Just makes me want another Manhunt game or even just a spiritual sequel!!! Would love to see one that can better balance the stealth and action-horror elements! Fantastic animation!!!
With Manhunt Is Understandable Considering how old the engine Rockstar was using but BHVR has no excuse If anything nowadays Rockstar Is capable of doing FAR worst than this but It Is unlikely
I'm not familiar with the concept of Dead by Daylight but Cash's perks would be befitting of his character. Perk one: Environmentalist There is a random chance of finding a plastic bag littered across the map, only 2 bags can be spawned at a time. After picking up a plastic bag, Cash enters "hunter" mode which changes his stance whenever he's behind the killer. Once Cash sneaks close enough to the killer, the player can interact with a button which allows Cash to ambush and subdue the killer from behind, stunning them for a while. (It would look like the yellow execution style of a plastic bag.) When a plastic bag is picked up, the remaining bag will vanish. Cool down: 2 minutes (Idk how long the matches are) Perk two: Cornered Rat Cash knows that noises indicate the presence of life. There is a small chance of finding an empty glass which can be used to smash at a wall, allowing Cash to attract killers towards him and exposing his location temporarily for 2 seconds to everyone. The glass cannot be carried away from its position. "Pick someone your own size!"
Now, _this_ would be one hell of a power move on BHVR's part, if they tried to bring in anything from Rockstar's ensemble of games, Manhunt especially.
Good vid, man. I loved it both as a manhunt throwback and just because I hate facing Legion. Cash could actually be a good fit for killer OR survivor, really: Entity warps his perception to see the survivors as the roving gangs he faced, or just takes away his ability to fight back like the rest of the survivor cast. Could be a legendary skin for someone, too. Too bad the rockstarXDBD crossover can never happen, least of all this game, just because of the (undeserved) reputation...
It will never happen just because R* don't give a shit about collaborations. But that's a good thing, I don't really expecting anything interesting from BHVR anymore.
Had a basic idea for how this could work as a perk "Snuff The Light" Once the fourth generator is activated, several boxes around the map unlock. The survivor(s) with this perk can go to these boxes to retrieve a weapon. If they manage to stand behind the killer for five seconds, the survivor will get a prompt to use the weapon. Once used, the survivor will perform a mori on the killer- immediately ending the match in a survivor victory. Victories accomplished this way grant all the blood points the killer would have earned to the survivor that used Snuff The Light.
If for some reason Cash was added as a survivor he wouldn't be able to do jack shit to the killers. We would all be like "Yo this is bullshit Bill/Ash can totally kick that Kpop star's ass"
You could always find a way to make it work. Maybe the entity gave cash a power up or weakened the killer enough to let cash hurt him. It's a videogame and a lore reason could be cus the entity is bored and wanted to see something different happen. You could jump some hoops and make it work you know?
@@vapor-shadow2815Imagine one day the entity gets bored of the same trials and decided to create a Gladiator Colosseum were he forces Survivors and Killers to kill each other
I love these, Cash would be great as a killer or survivor Honestly I think Postal Dude would make a good survivor because he would be so fed up with the trials and want to go home as he's forced to fix gens
Stealth and brutal killings would be his abilities, basically as soon as he gets you, your dead, straight up dead, no one can save you, Danny would make a great survivor, cash would either be the one killing most killers or a survivor but mainly either a survivor or killer, unless they add some sort of sheriff/hunter type of survivor, killers that are humans and killers similar to pigsy would be his good targets, the rest he would be survivor
Ngl now I kinda need animations of Ash and Bill fighting the more human or feasibly killable Killers. Just Ash punching someone down with his metal arm or whipping out his iconic chainsaw. Bill just gets most of his Left 4 Dead arsenal lol.
Imagine full team of survivors with Cash and his Mori killling entities, toxic af. Unless they add gamemode where survivors become bad guys hunting down
My idea would be that the two manhunt games have a package of two characters per game, cash/pigsy for the first, being a survivor and killer, and in the second danny/leo fulfilling the same role, only as shown here cash and Danny would have the possibility of hunting the killers.
Honestly, Cash would be the killer. Because in the Game, the whole thing was some sort of GameShow or something, he was being coached to kill actors. I remember when you go to kill one he says "wait a minute this is just a game!"
Thank you so much for making this, Manhunt is my favorite horror game and i love dbd. Also this is insanely satisfying because the legion are very annoying to play against
I've always wanted a sort-of survivor that could (temporarily) bully a killer by fighting them toe-to-toe, and Cash would honestly be the best at it. I'd imagine that since The Entity tears the killers apart and reshapes them (think the Trapper with his hooks and metal shards imbedded in his back), the Entity could reasonably "revive" the killer to prolong their hunt. That way, it balances the ability to fight back without forcing the killer to just die mid-match.
Hell nah, this has to be the worst idea proposed for this game I have ever seen. Imagine whatever kind of crazy perk you’re describing on a 4 man squad, in other words, a SWF. It’s already relatively easy to bully mid tier and lower characters, so adding a perk that is literally meant to explicitly do that is way too much
nah survivors are already strong gameplaywise, people would abuse it. lore-wise the Entity nerfs the sruvoirs and empowers the killer with superhuman strength and resilience which is the reason why a fighter like David King is losing the fight to a scrawny killer like Leigon. Hallow blight Skin is the few incidents where survivor subdue a killer only for the killer to buffed by torture expierment done on it
Low to mid play is where its mostly fair actually. High gameplay is truly where its kinda survivor-sided. I wouldn’t really mind a perk like this with maybe a few restrictions.
This Video needs More attention, this is such a Dope concept, I’ve been into Manhunt forever and I got to say, Top notch job 🤩😮💨 I hope you plan on doing the same with Leo Kasper or Danny Lamb I’d totally be down to see that 😁
If cash was ever summoned into the games,i feel like it wouldn't be the entity,it'd probably be something that doesn't really likely the games or the entity. So they would summon cash to cause chaos and annoy the entity. (It sounded alot better in my head)
