Unfortunately RU-vid have restricted the original video for having excessive gore/violence, this is a updated version of the original video without gore, at same time I’ve unlisted the old one but you can still watch it by clicking the link in the description (gore warning at the Mori part for those who are sensitive)
no one will be sensitive in this case with that kind of cartoon gore, and I donut 🍩 know why YT will censorship that part it doesn't have the enough quantity of blood, but thx for the comparison!! XOXO ❤️🖤
@@sorkinquinzelidk why does youtube practically have porn ads and vids in youtube kids but doesn’t allow cursing and blood in regular youtube. It’s because of greed if anything.
Dbd Nemesis lore remains accurate to the remake and og one and makes it clear he will kill anyone who prevents him from reaching S.T.A.R.S members, and his lore states non-S.T.A.R.S survivors are preventing him and thus need to be eliminated.
@@llthk138 there is no such thing as "Henschel turret" the hull itself was designed by Porsche and Henschel, the turret was designed by Krupp. the H in the name is just the designation, that's coincidentally matches with Henschel, just like with Tiger 2 P, where the P as well doesn't mean "Porsche", it most likely means Prototype
god, shout out to Neil Newbon for his performance as the nemesis, his posing and just the way he carries himself translates so well to the nemesis model. With a bit of clean up from the 3d animators they made nemesis have such powerful energy for the resident evil remake. I wonder if DBD will ever dable in motion capture again. If so, hopefully they hire some actual actors for it, haha.
RE Nemesis feels 10x more terrifying in every way. Even the walk, it has so much animation to it and makes it feel unsettling how much it mimics a human walk. That being said, DBD tried and didn't do too bad.
With the balance restrictions that the game has for both sides, it's pretty alright. The bigger problem in my opinion is that his power feels more like a weak ass whip instead of a tentacle that can really do damage.
@@kinderboah His whole power is lame. He should have 10 zombies and guns shound spawn instead of vaccines so survivors can constantly shoot them down or waste ammo for slowing nemesis down. His power could be placing parasites on zombies to make give them a ranged attack and make them harder to kill
We have to keep in mind that DBD is a competitive game and all the animations need to match the "fair" part of the game and be toned down but still maintaing all the core aspects of it. Thats a really cool challenge that animators have to face in almost every project tho. There will always be a "but..." in every single briefing.
dbd's killers should have a second power. Like the nemesis should have the scream as an area stun like the clown's bottles, the nemesis could only do this at level 3 of its tentacle power.
They really need to do something more with Nemy power levels. At level 1 you are useless, at level 2 "oh wow now you can destroy pallets!!!" And at level 3 "oh wow, the tentacle attack is a bit longer!!" Not to mention you need to hit 3 times (with a sh1t hit box) to put down a surv, zombies are 50/50 and vast majority of his add on sucks...BHV really didnt give nemy justicw
I know a lot of changes are for keeping things fair but if there's one thing I'd want is just an audio update for Nemesis. Make his steps sound huge, make his roar almost map wide, just make him feel heavier than he is. Oh and classic Nemesis too.
his head is smaller so he probably can't be flashlight blinded as much or so that it isn't inconsistant, the size can't be toooo tall because dbd has a range of sizes, and too bigwould be just wrong, he wouldn't look right vaulting, takin too long to break pallets, not insta killing survivors with one punch etc so the size difference actually has a purpose
@@user-vh2ye5iy1b The original isn’t boring at all and arguably better. It’s either a viscous stomp or head crush that feels a lot more brutal and impactful than what we got in DBD.
@@CollegeBallYouknow i didn’t say it wasn’t and it is better but only cuz of the circumstances. DBD nemi only has one kill animation mine as well had more character to the animation
Resident Evil Nemesis is like a true honest endless threat. Because you know weapons barely damage it. Dbd Nemesis feels like Nemesis is just chilling out a bit, and going easy on survivors because theyre not Stars members.
I love the addition of different victims like Cheryl from Silent Hill and Leland from TCM. 😂 Also, kudos for throwing in RE: Resistance. I still play it since release and can find a game quicker than TCM. Sucks Capcom abandoned it while TCM is garbage and gets mild updates yet still has lobby issues. Resistance was left terribly unbalanced, but its simple gameplay is fun.
Lore accurate Nemesis would dominate. Since his release I felt like he should have 2 different moris, the tentacle and stomp if survivor is infected and a rocket launcher mori if they're not infected.
I'm still sad they make such badass characters look so weak and pathetic. He was so godlike in the remake, actually threatening. I love it so much when he roars in the remake, he is so angry. Nemesis in DBD should be able to be ANGRY and POWERFUL.
Agree we should also have gotten the motherfucking rocket launcher too but nope we got tweedle Dum and tweedle Dumbass (the zombie) and a kink toy (the tentacle)
If they ever want to rework nemesis in dbd instead of a tentacle they should make him just swing like 3 times in a row after a small wind up. He could still have the infection tier up system which would make him walk faster while swinging, break pallets with his swings, and swing more
The infection gimmick, while cool on paper, is such a downer for Nemi. This is a 8’4” tank on two legs powered by a Ferrari engine, he should feel powerful and immediate. His roar AOE stun or one-shot rocket launcher per tier would be a more fitting gimmick.
@@CollegeBallYouknow going up a tier could give you access to a 40 meter wide roar. Anyone like close could be hindered by 25% for 2 seconds , 16-24 meters could be hindered by 10% for 3 seconds and farther would have minor affects. Ofcourse anyone hit by it would get killer instinct. A decent purple add-on would make then oblivious after hearing the roar like their eardrums busted or like left their ears ringing type of deal
Onestly, i think that what impresses me the most is that Gun had planned an animation (and voicelines at the right moments) for Leland to be executed by Nemo. Should we expect it to be the next family member? IS THIS A LEAK?
Why wouldn't the devs just re-use the re3 characters model, shrunk it and just made animations to fit in the game?? And why wouldn't they just use nemesis voice from the re3 and just added it to dbd?
@@identityman3247 No don't "duh" me 😂. Bhvr talked about borrowing certain "assets" from capcom when making the character models for the RE chapters and didn't pay anything. It doesn't make sense to pay to just copy and paste RE3 nemesis into dbd, but modeling the character from scratch is 100% free with no extra charges?
This is more a dbd thing but I wish the did more with the mori’s because most of them just look awkward and them not putting blood or anything makes some kinda boring
RE Nemesis needs to be nerf to fit DBDs style sadly, Nemesis is a actual monster but of course. they have to botch it but it's within reason, Nemesis would win everytime...Specially with that RPG
@@JuliusZeng the section is for "ability to punch consecutively" not "ability to have animations for chained punching" and it being an animation video doesnt outrule this since we did an unrelated speed test aswell. thus: cowardism
0:28 Did u used Nemesis speed at maximum difficulty? Cuz on highest difficulty he do everything much faster than this cuz he consecutive punches was slow, and mb speed of running too
Most animation here are shown at native frame rate (60), in different difficulty the game engine would increase/decrease the frame rate played, however I do not know the exact number so they’re mostly 60
